Having Dark days is what makes history interesting.
Like I said this has been a problem for years, not just recently.
Give the new change a chance.
I am sure they are experimenting & trying out new things LOL.

I have to say your full of crap Asheera. That comment also speaks about you as well.
YOUR THE REASON this whole thing came up,Not Pandora or any of us.
You care about those points just as much if not more.
All this QP drama came because of you, who whined & cried about the -QP.
Then you say your only telling the truth?
Yea about yourself maybe.
So if this is the dark times for HC.
Asheera brought this on for everyone.
This would of never of been an issue if everyone would of left the -QP alone.
Now yall know i was right about everything i said.
Lets see if it is a dark time or not

Easy Lexxan, just about everyone knows you and your hard work to this day  I'm afraid there was going to be disagreement no matter what we did and Val opted for the option that seemed the more prudent. I do respect your value towards qps just as I do for Blizzardboy's, after all I liked and supported what they represented but please don't make things harder than they already are. It's all meant for the better and you have my word that will will do our best to keep this place in the best shape for you, any of you. Give it a little time, initial impressions often fade and you will be reminded why you liked this forum in the first place. You don't need qps to gain the respect of others, just do what you do. Well except the lame spamming part

You word are calming and tending, Elvin, but that still is not enough to feel wounded and empty as I do.
my initial reaction was as if Val joyously held up the middle finger saying "Lex, you have entertained us all, but now it' time to give your fruits of thy labour to me! Bye"
It feels as if my children have been smother, as if I've been stabbed in the face, as if an icy knife pierced by flaming heart. I've been blindsided and have all reason to be distressed and furious.
If the QPs system doesn't return, I'll make sure it returns, to whatever cost - TO WHATEVER COST!

Now, come on. Once the mods get around to removing the post limit and reducing floodprotect for the appropriate members, I'm sure we'll see things in a better light.

I feel kinda confused about this... I was away for a week and when I came back every one called each other stupid (maybe not directly). I thought it was just a random thought to remove the QPs. It seems as if something has happend here while I was away and I don't want to read the 23 page long thread with long posts, that prolly wont even tell me what happend here. Are there any quick recaps or something?

There was a heated argument about the pros and cons of the qp system and there was criticism on their distribution by mods, also how negative they are for the place.. Actually that was not the first or the last argument since it's a periodic issue that comes up every two years or so with controversy and complaints. Val decided to change the system to save us the negativity.

The fact is, no one knows what kind of real impact QPs had. Occasionally, people complained, but that's it - we don't know what effect they had on contribution. Now we'll find out.
