or perhaps your creatures can stack and such to damage them...first to defeat enemy wins.

Like I said, I believe to have read it somewhere. In other words, I have a vague memory that I have read something of the sort. I'm not sure that it is actually the case that upgrades are just stats.
You are right that it looks like there are 3 different types of archers in the Anwen/Findan pic. However the only difference among them is the colour of their headband/tunic. So I am not about to draw to large a conclusion out of this. I hope more announcements will come soon, so we can get some kind of conformation on the details.

Actually, he's not. Just look at the Hair and the cloak and Compare this to Findan's and to Anwen's artwork. Besides, it's obvious that FINDAN is the one talking and the LEFT one is the one speaking.

Markal does look pretty good. Doesn't much resemble his portrayal in Heroes V, though, where he was the one good character.
The female Elf is clearly Findan. She just needs the Book of Bad Haiku (-1 Morale, -3 enemy Knowledge), then we can call her a clone.

I think, as a semi-heroes game, it warrants a news article. Things that are less about Heroes and more about the forum-community have been on the main page, so I recon there should be no problem with it.

We also follow the other Might and Magic games on the forums, even though they weren't actual Heroes games. So why not? Who knows, it bring in a few new Might and Magic fans, with it being on the DS and all.

Some games only work for their known systems or consoles.
Like Civilization for the Playstation I think it was.
It's just not good. It's not the same at all.

Puzzle Games work very well with the DS, RPGs also. There some round based tactical games like "Advance Wars" and "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon" for the DS wich are wonderful.
So I don't think we should worry too much that this would not work for a game in the MM-universe.
