Ifran looked at the carnival in surprise and shock and sat down on tears.
"So many...so many goblins and kobolds gathered...and they all are having fun, like in the old times. Even if what they do is different the result is the same." Ifran said in joy and stood up and whipped the joy from his face before looking at the goblin "I'll check out to see if this is a trap or not."

Xinkz nods and starts to look around himself. Eventually he found himself in front of a fortune teller. As she was talking, his mind started drifting off, and getting fuzzy. He fell asleep, and his sleep got deeper and deeper...so peaceful. He could stay that way forever...
((This dream is shared by everybody when they fall asleep))
He and his group was floating above everything. He could see the whole land. Way to the west they float, over the seas, still traveling. Through Dungeons, and ruins, through dark forests and murky swamps they traveled. The way was ingrained into their minds, although NOT the details. ((Ie we know how to get to each place, but not what will happen or the layout of each place)).
Awareness comes, that they are not ready or able yet to face those who had done this to them..not by far. The journey given to them would, if they survived, make them strong enough...
He awoke refreshed but with a start. He and the rest were laying peaceably in a open field. The Carnival, if it ever existed in anything but their mind, was gone. The Fae had shown him what must be done, for their own reasons..reasons he may never understand or comprehend. Still, if they had wanted to hurt or kill him, they would have. Easily.

Kreishna spent an unnecessarily long time stalking through the fair feeling suspicious. She’d picked up some fluffy pink stuff from a cheerful-looking goblinoid with too many teeth intact; it seemed to be food, and it didn’t seem to be poisoned, so she munched on it warily as she inspected the fair grounds. But after a good twenty minutes of skulking around she hadn’t found anything to put her hackles up (other than the obvious) and a kobold with bright blue stripes painted over his snout managed to coax her into a game of Throwing Daggers.
Kreishna was reasonably good at Throwing Daggers (it was a popular game with the Guild), and soon had amassed a nice pile of glass jewels and pretty beads for the Guild. But after a few rounds her vision started to swim; the last thing she saw was the cheerful expression of the kobold running the game, and her last coherent thought was that she’d let herself be poisoned.
She awoke with the rest of the group in the middle of the clearing. The fair had vanished…she took a quick inventory of herself. Her hoard of trinkets were gone…and so was her knife!

Durok opened his eyes and looked to the skies. Yesterday was so nice. All those colors and noises and amusing little creatures calling him to join fun games. And the food, the food...
Durok looked around trying to see if there's any food left. However, no exciting food was in sight. In fact, the whole carnival vanished. Durok was confused for a minute, but then decided that yesterday was just a dream, how else could he explain the pink, fluffy cloud of sweetness he ate at the carnival? The orc looked at the sky again. Yep, the clouds were still white and out of reach, so it must have been a dream. No wonder Durok thought he could fly for a moment there.
Durok stood up, yawned and stretched his only arm. The others were beginning to wake up as well. He looked at the sack that lay at his feet, the sack with weapons and provisions he's been carrying ever since they left the human camp. He decided that it would be safer to do his job as the stuff carrier if the sack was always on him so he immediately picked it up and threw it over the shoulder. The sack was much lighter than he remembered.
"Good sleep. Make stronger. Job more easy now." He said for everyone to hear while playing with the sack.

Kuddin wasn't too sure about this carnival. He would enter, but he was sure to stick his most valued treasure outside of the area. He found a bunch of bushes, and stored his few bottles of the alcoholic beverage within.
Being a little more secure, Kuddin walked in. There were so many friendly-looking goblins and kobolds around. So welcoming, yet it felt a little odd. The feeling must be due to his recent encounters with so many of those humans, he figured.
He walked further along, walking the paths the carnival had left open. The ones that seemed to be less crowded by clutter and such. He found a drinking booth. The goal was too drink a set number of drinks before time ran out. It seemed like it would be fun. He hopped up, onto a stool set before a table. Within a few second, a tray of glasses was set before him, all filled to the top with liquid. The timer started. He quickly wondered why he wasn't required to pay a thing, but put that out of his mind just a fast, and started drinking. Several glasses in, he was starting to feel a bit tipsy. The timer looked more like a furry bird frozen in the sky than anything else. He went for the last glass, but fell to the ground instead. A buzz was heard just before he went into a deep sleep.
Upon waking, he heard the orc talking about strength, and bags, and he knew not what else. The dream he had seemed so clear, but now it seemed more a result of the drink.
"Where did it all go?"

Xinkz looked around, blinked and got up. After doing inventory, he noticed that most of the iron weapons had been replaced by several silver peices. More then what the items themselves were worth in fact. He wasn't sure what was going on, but at least he knew what they had to do. Their first stop would be a little cave outside of a port town nearby. It used to be a Keep, but had fallen on hard times lately. It was recently abandoned, and creatures had started to move in, but since it was relatively new..wouldn't be too dangerous.
He looked around. "I don't know what happened here, but I think we should head here." he lets them know where they are headed.

Kreishna bobbed her head absently, still grumbling to herself over the loss of her knife. She wasn’t very good with money beyond the concepts of “more = better” and “shinier = also better” thanks to extensive use of the five-finger discount, and even if she had been, would not have been pleased—she’d rather liked that dagger, and was incapable of stabbing anything with coins.

Durok stretched his arm ready to leave towards their new objective. He opened the sack to make sure everything was there. As he looked inside the sack slipped out of his fingers. He stood there in shock for a while before crying out:
"Gone! Weapons gone! Me fail tribe! Me no more strong, bag more empty." He looked around trying to find the weapons, "Swords no run fast. Me go find swords!"

As usual a new mission canceled out the old one in Durok's simple mind. He grinned and nodded to Xinkz. Then he took out the wooden club from out of the straps on his leg (at least it was still here) and started walking in the pointed direction, while looking to all sides trying to spot anything dangerous.

They traveled for a few days, resting when needed, hunting when needed, and the like. Finally they come to a small cave with some pillars over it. This was the first place the vision had shown them. New enough to not have attracted the more dangerous creatures, but old enough to have some good challenges and some decent treasure.
The smell was dank and the cave was dark. Luckily that was not a problem for this group. Most if not all had decent night vision, and if needed they had torches to light the way. The entrance forced them to go in one at a time ((Need line up here!)). Once passed this, they were in a crude circular room with three other exits. A small dirt tunnel to the west, a crude stone tunnel to the east, and a more sturdy looking stone stairwell down.

Xinkz looked at the small tunnel to the west, the group having voted to go that way. Slowly, he led the group down it, it stretched on for awhile, then turned to the left. As they headed down that, they noticed that there was a cave in up ahead. Rocks were everywhere, including a small mound in front of a wooden door. The tunnel looked unstable, but with a little work they could uncover the wooden door.
Xinkz turned around to the group. "Turn around or clear the door?"

Durok looked at Xinkz with surprise, his former tribe of Orcish hunters never turned back until they reached their goal or died trying. He looked at the small cave in in front of them again and suddenly realized that these rocks might be too heavy for his new small tribe. Realization how much his power could be of help, Durok turned to Xinkz with a smile from ear to ear.
"Me move rocks if chief wants!"

Kreishna prodded a loose rock with her tail, then when that produced no response picked it up and threw it at the pile. Nothing happened.
Still cautious, she proceeded forward. A few steps later she was glad she’d gone slowly; a bit of old twine, disguised by the dirt staining it, crossed the passage a few feet from the heaped stone.
She followed the string to either side and discovered it was tied to the trigger of a crude launching mechanism, in which was set a tarnished silver needle. After a moment of thought, she darted off to test another stone, brought it back and carefully brought it down on the string—keeping her limbs out of the path of fire as best she could.
The string triggered the trap, and the needle came flying out—where it hit the stone and tumbled harmlessly to the ground, gathering dirt. Kreishna carefully picked it up and examined it; it was sticky with poison as evidenced by the grains of dirt stuck to it. But it was shiny. She carefully secreted it away where it wouldn’t accidentally prick her until she could find a use for it or bring it back to the Guild.
The rest of her examination of the area came up trap-free until she came to the door itself (climbing over fallen rock to do so). Here her practiced kobold eyes picked out another line, similar to the first, wrapped around the handle and trailing up to the ceiling—where, she now saw, a net held more broken rock suspended above the first pile, and was set to release its burden should the door open and the string go lax.
Holding tight to the twine she picked apart the knot with her claws, freeing the handle; someone’s Guild had a sloppy trapmaker. She kept the twine as taunt as possible and re-tied it to one of the tunnel’s support beams. Now all that remained to be done was clearing the stone so the larger members of the party could pass through.
