You didn't need defense to win that game. Academy is pretty potent them getting defense simply makes the scary. If you'd played a bit differently I'm convinced that you could have pulled it off.

oh I'm sure others can play better than me...I'm just not an academic type of guy, you know...for that faction, my play is limited to just basic stuff like mass spells or MotW destructive really...I sorta mentally resigned after 2 stacks were one-hit killed & affected by mass confusion without counter agst an empathy 110 mana dougal before my hero even acted...that was probably annoying to opponent too (the mental resignation, I mean)
But credit Larry for good play too!

Got pretty thumped in my games with SG.
First match I actually won (which is a bit of a shock). Lol my memory is horrible, forget matchup. Sylvan vs Haven I think. Elven's luck and unicorns just thrashed em.
Rest was kinda sad. Couldn't even take stronghold with necro. He is soo much better then me it is not funny. Even got a Sylvan again, which I usually did pretty good at, but it didn't help at all. Didn't get my elven luck either.
He will have a better explination (and memory) of the match ups. He won 3-1. GG

Edit:Yes, in the first you were prety lucky with that blinds, 4 in a row!!
On the other one that you were Sylvann, I was Zehir, with like 25 of spell power, a Nuke phoenix with 1000+ life, 340-560 of damage; 100 fire elementals, Arcane Armors, unicorn horn bow......you could'nt stop me, I had a perfect build with insane Spell power.
Don't give up, you can improve a lot

Academy is not a straightforward faction primus, don't play it like one As for dark vs haven it is risky, many counters from light/dark or units.

With all this modding, I was wondering if trainning can be modded to offer different ammounts of max trained troops/week, depending on lvl?
something like : max 20 lvl 6/ 30 lvl 5/ 50 lvl 3/ 60 lvl 2 ?!

I wouldn't know, that's a bit complex. And how could you tie what the buildings allow with hero racial.. no idea if it's even possible.

Edit: And he was though he fell fighting
First game was dungeon vs academy where I went for a mix of might&magic while he had counterspell. Sorcery allowed me to act before his next counterspell and my units were dealing some nasty dmg, he should have probably used light. Stormwind would have minimized the impact of my blackies.
Second was sylvan vs haven, first rain of arrows with slipper meteor and him keeping his units in tight formations was decisive. We replayed the battle with him frenzying my druids before they acted and it was VERY close - eventually disconnected but hard to tell what might have happened.
Final game was my dwarves vs sylvan where I used warmachine build and light - I almost gave up because mentor was snowing with me. Kinda felt intimidated by lack of defense but it worked out after all, got some good stuns, a lot of morale triggers and managed to keep my shooters and ballista undisturbed. My luck aside I feel that mass deflect missile would have owned me here. Btw rotten had suppress light and fire resistance, good call

Decent opponent, promising with some more experience. Oh and get out of your mind the idea that you can surprise me with a crazy build, Azagal and radar have showed the craziest there is

The battle of the titans has concluded!
Game 3: Larry quroq Primus alastor
This was the most memorable tourny game for me so far...enlight orcs with aura & windstrider boots against non-enlight inferno with 0 defence stat before artis (btw I had unihorn corn bow)...toyed with the idea of not getting mark of damned because I had 4 mass spells available - luckily I still picked it plus alastor's special actually had some use!...The initial familiar mana drain was no use...I think maybe Larry didn't know that spell casting is also affected by MotD...I couldn't believe the intense very close result given the initial start-of-battle conditions
Game 4: Primus vayshan Larry grawl
This was an exceptionally memorable & close one too...Went for the tried & trusted warlock luck with Azagal's vigour (phoenix cape)...Again the extremely close result was just great...Near the end, I didnt think the hydras could be killed in one action so that was a good move...guess who was next on atb at the end

In other (very very late oO)news I've had 3 games with Michi. As always some fun games.
Michi69 vs. Azagal
Fortress vs Academy
This was the best game out of the 3 if you ask me. I had some nice spells and my Supress Light spell was riiiiiiight on target but he got +9 Knowledge Artifacts so well... it wasn't as decisive as I wanted it to be. The arena game to bite me in the behind with no obstacles at all instead we had some moronic orcs cheering and picking their noses. Considering the set up I was pleased with my performance we had a lot of outmaneuvering each other (mostly me trying to get him off my corpse!!). The equilibrium lasted quite long in my opinion.
Haven vs Fortress
Well what is there to say? I got Azagal's Burning Vigor and from then onwards my path was clear . I went Destruction with Sorcery+Empathy (I was lucky since I started with Erling for advanced Sorcery bonus). I was a bit shocked though when I saw that he had both "Dragon Flame Tongue" and "Bearhide Wraps" which reduced my Ice damage by 75% oO. Obviously fate wanted me to go with the fire of my vigor so I went with Firewall till I found out that the reduction didn't apply to Deepfreezes meleedamage increase. Fun game where my defense did a lot for me together with a morale firework.
Academy vs Haven
This one was kinda weird in a funny way... the replay name says it all. We both made mistakes (it was already pretty late xD) but well... what can I say? OMG RUUUUUUUUUUUUN (watch the replay you'll understand).
EDIT: Something is wrong with the second replay... mediafire won't let me upload gimme a second...

3d and 4th game were as close as it gets
Game 3:at start i thought i have everything under control,although demon is pretty good matchup vs orcs ,had great stats(enlight) and crazy speed of +2
started playing pretty careless ,not trying to eliminate seducers 1st is sure mistake and the battle started looking more like a real war.He didn't have def stats ,but expert defence and mass endurance made him noticably harder to kill,anyway in very close finish 1st i learned that casting a spell can be very dangerous
Game 4:well this was my goodbye i was 100% sure,i got Demon Skprimus got Dungeon,but not only that i didn't get any real resistance artie and no magic school(didn't get offered dark,got only mass haste and endurance from perks)had solid attack but nothing in my stats was really impressive, after first ignite fireball that erased 3 stacks looked like i'll go down really fast,but as it turned out i had luckiest finish ever,even the last hit was lucky,since normal hit couldn't do it
Game 5:i again i got orcs ,this time vs. academy,and again with orcs got lucky with enlight.,so had great stats,Skprimus had dark and destructive,and after defile magic canceled(for the first time )his double fireball he pretty much gave up
there were mistakes on both sides,but fun and great games for sure(especially 3d and 4th)

hehe, I always make battle mistakes, makes all games interesting too; that 4th game I may have also been bit hasty/overconfident but it was fun

@Azagal: sorry I may seem rude, but funnily for me, that was the most boring & sent me almost to sleep watching that slow slogfest...maybe that's telling me something, hmm...btw I thought the 3rd was most entertaining (vindicators v aca)
On the Elvin v rottenvenetic game 3, weird how that ballista acted first before all the sylvan units, almost like swift machine-minded ballista ...on the other hand, that -2 morale/-2 luck/stormwind together with runic ballista dwarves can really be de-moralizing .

Some really nice replays.
Elvin vs rotten - that second Sylvan-Haven game was pretty intense, would have liked to see it end properly. On the first game - I didn`t know Druid`s special was that good, the Meteor was pretty awesome.
Skprimus game 3 and 4 were indeed intense - those two Haste casts were just
And was it game 3 or 5, anyway, I was surprised to see how hard the Cyclops are to take down.
And Azagal, that 56 ATK Vindi... scary.
(I actually ha some questions, but I forgot them already )

Well SK I don't blame you^^. Watching it is probably not that exciting but I was the one on the losing side for most of the battle so naturally the pressure made it more intense for me. Especially since I was under the impression that I still had a fighting chance long into the game. I for example didn't find the last one very exciting (entertaining definitely but not exciting). I mean he had defense and those guys were still running amok lol. Expert Defense and Arcane Armour? Pffff.... they cut through your soul!!
And I just watched that Haven Sylvan of rot and Elvin... well if you see Elvin go Emeralds and he has absolutely brainless amounts of mana it's a pretty good indication that he'll go nuclear on you . Atleast in my eyes. And even if not taking care of druids is always a biiiig help. I think you'd won the second match I'd puppeted he treants before the unicorns (no annoying über defense bonus like that) but still after that I think you'd pull through his unicorns were falling quickly and while he had both your peasants and vindicators favoured I think they'd managed to bring the ponies down in time. Same goes for the trees. But well we're talking about Elvin so this is all just theory^^.

I love theories Anyway the plan was to resume rain of arrows with deep freeze that was already inmbued. Implosion did 1200+ dmg but I rather liked the atb freeze. Bonus insight, in one of the next attacks vindies would be unable to kill a unit therefore cleave would not give them a second attack. Was funny how it turned out, reason I got cold death was exactly for situations like these.
Larry games were insanely fun, especially that inferno vs dungeon match Didn't believe inferno could pull it off, motd saved the day. I thought that grunts in the front would take away any remaining hopes(after blackie attack) yet they were the only ones to survive  Likewise I thought orcs would take inferno down, near the end I felt they had the advantage with all that rage.

You mean 1k Implo in the other game, right? Your 3 SP Deepfreeze did 207 damage to the Vindies counting the shot itself and they did ~130 dmg without luck and your treants had 56 HP left so cleave would have triggered. Per Imbued Rain turn you kill 12 Vindies and 33 Peasants that against 9 Ponies and the few treants? I don't think you'd have made it in time. Buuuut less theory crafting more playing... unfortunately Michi didn't notice me all day.
BUT HE's BACK!! Michi over here! Hamachi or HCM!! And he ran off...
And our battle's are concluded! And once again it was another Fortress game... ugh those guys are annoying.
Sylvan vs Fortress
What can I say? While very little obstacles they were strategically really good for me (except for trapping my Dragons lol schtuuupid me), the mentor screwed me over hard but the mage guild loved me all the more for it. At the very beginning I wasn't sure whether I should go for Ponies or the Druids for Mark of Fire but with 80 Mana it didn't look like a destruction build. I'd learn the hard way later lol. Well not really the hard way but Defensive Formation+Rune of Ressurection+him only having 3 Attack is a biatch to go up against.
So our series concludes with a 3-1 in my favour thanks for the games Michi.

Gotta love the ending chuckle of the keeper Very fitting, these guys had quite an impact on the battle. Yeah dragon navigation kinda sucked but you controlled the game nicely, of course with that kind of omnipotent destructive it's hardly a surprise. With just 8 knowledge the power bonus couldn't have been high nor would mana last in case of long battle.
Bliz must be waiting for his silver trophy as well, don't leave him hanging!
Oh and you gain Slayer unlockable for brutal yet stylish vindicator usage

Hey all.
I had some personal problems that will probably cause me to be without a computer at home for the next week. So, no duels for now.
I see the deadline for the games is 1 week, so I guess and will be to late. If you could extend the deadline for another week, Im sure I would be able to play. If thats not possible, then I am really sorry, but I will have to resign.
