if file shows *.zip, just change it to *.h5m anyway got it thru msn; were fun games too
edit: yep speedyshare is now weird with pop-ups which once when I tried to close, it popped up something suspicious-looking non-standard "are you sure?"...I just Alt-F4 without touching any buttons
wow, I also noticed that dungeon can pick up an arti lying on the ground in the start area [I picked up ring of banishment, if that is any use but in a hotseat test, P2 got albo's slippers & P1 got titan's trident]...
Also note to some who may not have played/know: visit mages hut to see what artifacts you can pick (3 groups of 7 can be seen with a relic being the centre of a group; but only 1 lot of 7 is takeable) but don't go thru white portal unless you've done everything in town as gold resets to 0 on passing white portal... after everything done & artis picked up, academy also needs to town portal back to get upgraded mini-arties from higher knowledge after artis equipped...also make sure one checks equip/dis-equip artis before visiting well & before battle as some artis may be for same slot & thus cannot both be equipped
On another note, @Larry: FYI, I will be unavailable to play online from forum time 22nd Nov Sun 16:00 to 24th Nov Tue 04:00 but hopefully this won't matter

I had to prevent your public humiliation before it took place You are right though I did modify the order a bit to distribute the better players in each branch. Matchups themselves were random.

It was 6 speed/6 teleport , noob . Does this mean it is 7/6 now and 6/5 with Storm Wind ?
Btw, I would like to join this one myself, if it is still possible(and you can find me a partner) as the changes seem very interesting and 16 is kind off a magic number for a tournament!

Indeed, consider it a typo. Sixteen will indeed be a pleasant change, I'm sure I'll find you a partner within the day. And since we had our share of last moment joiners I'll stretch a bit the deadline.
To be honest I have not done extensive testing on current balance, it is possible that week 6 army as in toh is best. So far week 5 with limited arties seems to work though lack of bans other than ring/staff gives an element of randomness Anyway looking forward to your feedback.

Didn't notice growth change , only the creatures abilities. Does that mean -2 lvl 7 and all the others crits -2 * lvl ratio, or only -1 lvl 7?
I generally think the ToH Duel Map had an okei balance, -2 lvl 7 might mean Dungeon, Necro and Academy will be the toughest, but I'm in for the fun of the changes, so doesn't matter
As for my opponent, will be nice facing him again.
LE:
Another new rule, I didn't notice till now: 3 wins needed ?! that means best of 5 games?
I might be messing up the deadlines and the tournament in such case, and might have to reconsider joining.

Not exactly, tier 7 are now 7 so not a huge difference. Cyclopes and magmas remain 6 however and thanes become 12 instead of the normal 14 tier 6 for other factions.

First!
I'm glad to say Larry & I played our first games today
Game 1: Primus alaron Larry marbas (edit: speedyshare was used because of problems with mediafire --> now ok, mediafire link here)
Funny my first game against someone has a high chance of me being sylvan. With RM available but no haste nor cleansing, I briefly toyed with the idea of getting power of speed & first strike with tactics or aura...However I had no luck artis & was uncomfortable with neutral luck (or worse depending on opponent) & so I decided to go with my trusted sympathy with luck...Upon checking my inferno opponents great stats, I decided that the magic res unihorns had to charge as well & not stay back protecting AAs...The game decided the fortune in my favour with a whole bunch of morales at the start...
Game 2: Primus havez Larry dougal
No defence academy kinda made me lose morale...can't really say much more, maybe I gave up too early...
Score is 1-1 for now
Thanks Larry for fun games, thatinferno was scary to see at first
