So here is how I was able to test RTMG on LAN.
you know « map.xdb » from the .h5m?
to inside there is a tag for « RMG informations » only used and created by the RMG-ingame/editor.
In fact, I broken this tag (RMG infos) from the map.xdb file
and I renamed the folder map by replacing the random name by the name of the map.
all that to make believe to the game that the map was made by a human with the Editor.
...and it worked... you can call it a tiny hacking
So, during the RTMGfy process, RTMG « kills » all RMG origins of the map.
this was enough to allow RTMG maps to perfectly work on network.
of course, standard conditions of the game must be still respected (ex: presence of same mod files in both computers, etc, etc)
Now, about RPE, I don't believe that doesn't work on network...
to the next visit of my brother, I will test RPE with him.

Hey, I'm using RGE nad I heard I need to use RTMG to create random maps. I already see how it works but for some reason I can't create a map in which I would be able to choose starting race freely, it's always set randomly and I can't change it.
It's a map for 2 players and both are set as random in Template generator. Then I tried checking/unchecking Random Towns in h5 RMG but nothing works as I want. Any way to let me choose race other than setting them in Adv map?

Hi, I have a problem. Creating the own template is acting for me correctly, but when I remake map in the AdvMap every generated map is saved in 0 bytes size(and I think I don't have to tell that I can't see them in available for the game...). I tried with different settings, but any of them don't work. Can somebody help me?
