I wondered myself how "well-known" Fank0 is in the world..
Since he is regularely in top 10 in WCL he must be well known. Please, make difference between a BEST player, and just well known. Fanko is well known.
And actually it doesnt matter if Casihasi share this oppinion, or not. For the polish guy Fanko is famous. Who ask Casihasi for his oppinion about Fanko? I may have oppinion about half of the players here. Do i post my negative toughts? Whats the purpose of his remark, other than arguing?
And i find it VERY, VERY sad, that a person like you - the famous Angelito, the once most tolerate and diplomatic person in Heroes circles, to behave like that.
Sorry, but i cant escape the feeling that you have something against the bulgarian players in general. And you just cannot restrain from being biased.

It was only a "lol" and now you bring it to an open conflict. Looking for it at each occasion? Ok, let me give you one
The truth is (sorry for you guys, I know how it feels): more you play at this game, less chances you have to become famous ...in the world.

Why do you think anyone is trying to get famous?
The thing is the polish guy paid respect to Fanko and another person intervened just to deflame Fanko. Wich is sad.

People (in this forum) sometimes told me I should grow some more humor, even though I am a very humorous person. It is just my sense of humor (with the age of 40) is slightly different from the sense of humor here in the Wastelands.
But a player like Casihasi, who participated in ToH since the very beginning of H3 (with a different username), where players from all over the world were present, could call himself "well-known in the world".
But due to the fact, H3 isn't that well-known over the world at all anymore, any player who started playing H3 online AFTER H4 came out (or even short time befor H5 came out), can't call himself well-known in the world, because if you look at the current tournaments, most players are from eastern europe or russia.
Even when I started online playing in 2004, I played with people from USA, canada, netherlands, france, belgium, australia, korea, brazil, even from south africa. Besides all the guys from romania, bulgaria, poland and russia.
And how many players you got from OUTSIDE of the eastern europe zone (including russia)?
Just this fact was the reason for the "lol". It was nothing personal. Neither from Casihasi, nor from me. I know some guys from bulgaria who were/are great players and great guys. Be it The_Saint_BG (just ask him about some 2vs2 we played as a team), Rock_Bull, Bad_Boxa, Aculias () and there were some more where I just forgot the name.
Forget about me being against bulgarian players, that's just wrong. I never cared about how the passport of the player looks alike. I cared about how he spoke and behave..

First and most important - Fanko did not called himself well known. And its not a problem weather he is or not well known. The problem is that someone just intervene to ridicule him.
Second (wich is a little offtopic, but to answer you) WCL is the most recognised international tournament wich first inherited TOH. Yes, it may be not the same scale as TOH was, but thats the reallity. The only objective factor to call someone recognised is if he is regulary in the top ranking in WCL and play actively. Again - it doesnt mean he is the best, it means he is known.
Finaly - OK, i will accept that you do not have something personal against Fanko. But i am 100% sure that Casihasi had something personal. Otherwise he was not going to make such pointless remark out of nowhere.

There is no one in HC who would say seriously you guys are clowns. I am 100% sure you are true killers in HoMM3 and I or many others would not stand a chance against (my last game was about 6 years ago, now I am old, slow, fat and toothless and interested by other things in HoMM). I still keep a keen eye on your saved games, as they help me to create challenging single maps.
It is just your way to look at other comments who push a few people to use sarcasm. Don't take us the fun of doing so. Humor is relaxing, specially when it makes you angry.

Someone is one of the best H3 players ALL over the world (means eastern europe+ russia nowadays). So what? There are only about 100 players left that definately tend to play too much stupid Jebus.
Now - this comment is constructive. Offcourse, i dont share your oppinion about the level of jebus games played, and whether jebus is stupid at all.
But its an oppinion and it contributes to a discussion.
Just a "lol" is a plain mocking.

Hello. Since the forum won't let me create a new thread without posting first so I decided to write to this thread.
Me and a friend started playing this old game again in 1v1, and have found it quite enjoyable. We have, however found quite a lot of balance issues between the towns, we don't know if they are really as major as we think they are or is it just incompetence. We are not very good players but we are very competitive, so we always pick the best towns and best heroes, so it tends to get a bit boring since most of the towns aren't being played. Here are a couple of questions:
1. Are there really big balance issues between the towns? I have noticed that necropolis, dungeon and conflux are way better in units, heroes and mage towers, so basically in everything if you compare to inferno, stronghold and fortress.
2. How does it play out in tournaments like these if towns have balance issues? everyone picks the best towns all the time?
3. Are the might heroes of any use? Every time i try to play with a might hero instead of a magic one i get owned by my friends magic hero
4. if there aren't big balance issues, how can i win my friend that always plays with necro/dungeon/conflux with inferno/fortress/stronghold?
I hope you won't flame me, Im just trying to get a grip on this game without reading every guide and thread.

Better idea would have been to check the "Library - Table of Contens" (link -> click me hard) and see if you can find answers to your questions there. This thread here is a thread about a current running tournament, so you probably won't get any answers at all. I will give you links to all of your questions if possible. Follow the links, read there, and if needed post there again.

Best towns and best heroes differ extremely between offline players and online players... Thread about best heroes -> click me softly

Necropolis is oustanding. But not due to all their units but only due to their skeletons. Thousand skeletons week 4/5 is hard to beat. Conflux is a little bit better than the rest due to their level 7 unit growth and their level 2 and 3 unit. Dungeon isn't better than any other towns. It has its advantages, but also its disadvantages.
Quote: 2. How does it play out in tournaments like these if towns have balance issues? everyone picks the best towns all the time?
Necro and Flux are not palyed in 99% of the games. All other towns are quite balanced.
Quote: 3. Are the might heroes of any use? Every time i try to play with a might hero instead of a magic one i get owned by my friends magic hero
Might heroes are better than any magic hero on any random map bigger than Small size. Link -> click me fast

Necro can only be beaten with necro. If he choses Vidomina or Isra due to their necro speciality (big offline fault..), than you chose Galthran (skellies special uncle!!), than you will be fine. click the undead link
If Flux, you chose Monere. Dungeon can be beaten with any town.

I agree with angelito. Conflux and Necropolis are balanced incorrectly. The easiest towns to play online at start are Rampart (Ivor or Melphala) and Fortress (Wystan or Tazar). Rest of towns are more difficult, and needs more experience.
NEWS FROM TOURNAMENT:
Reservation of seats in the tournament "Frenzy Attack" went smoothly, and at express pace! Thank you all players for interest. Registration is still opened ! We accept the applications of users who are willing play if one of the main players would have a problem with that (we don't exclude the increase in the number of participants).

Summary of the month - December
This month there has been a change of the leader of the main Champions League LH. After three victories consecutive at first position is Ginterlen from clan Gladiatorzy Aren. After two defeats at second place is Biszcz, and after four games played this month (2-2), third place takes RedRum. Still no one was able to obtain a limit of round.
In the Amateur league at the first place still Anielskooki and little indicates a change. New maps of the month are Giant War 1.5 and Desertwar.
Also recently we started our first tournament of the League of LH. So big interest of "Frenzy Attack" do not think anyone expected. Number 64 of players is unique, and says rather all about it. We are positively surprised by that fact. This motivates us even more for better work - promises to be a very interesting rivalry.
We also wanted to announce about our intentions - We decided to replace the official game "Team Play" with a "Campaign" that has a lot more interest. What would it mean in practice..? lack of possiblity to play a game in Team Play mode, but the rewards of "Team Play" (premium account for the winning team) went to the "Campaign" which would be an extra motivation for game. If for 2 weeks none of the players with Premium account won't raise a veto, we will do that.
