Serious playing is for "serious" players. For new (i mean for game not for ToH) main goal need to be to learn game. Best way for it is to can get games vs other high rank opponent but for this we need change in system and add "protection rule".
Clans are another competition. Good clans will play for won "new clans" for fun.
Sure telling active ppl "don't play" is "right way" for up activity

Didnt tell you to NOT play.. I told you to not post if you had nothing productive to offer to increasing activity. Your only suggestion is to keeping doing the same thing... which is Dead.

Don't know how Baron or Squire plays - maybe I'll have no chances with theme, maybe I'll win a few games. This ranking for new players from other leagues means nothing. It probably won't be a good way to share pro/new players by the rank.
One inactive player can stop all tourney. Right. Question what to do with it. As fast as it is possible throw 'inactive' clan away.

Guys how can you talk , what is good for newbie, what they want to. There was one newbie meantime - Maniek - read what he wrote
We canīt do same lvl clans and we donīt want to. Just similar, almost similar. Everytime will be someone better and someone worse.
Maybe you have right Elit, I always respected your words. Say more about your opinion - why you so afraid of these news? Something wrong?

Thats the roll of the Commander.. if he has a dead player.. ditch him and fill spot with active player.. Very simple. In new clans concept there will be no penalty for removing a dead player.
And I think it best to just Ignore Players such as Elit and Infinitus etc, let them go play with themselves in there own little DEAD clan world. They can dominate each other

But this NEEDS to be a discussion on how to improve clans and boost actvity.. NOT have them saying its stupid. Best to focus on progress not let them dwell in past. If they keep posting the same dead ideas, it will only confuse new fresh players and ideas.

Iīm ok if they post here something. Its their opinion I will respect it. But Elit pls explain it more, why you think that etc.(as I ask before)
Jinx can you do some inquiry and ask there who wants to join? Then we will have number or list of players who are interested in. And we from other countries can contact people from our leagues and give them link on it. Or maybe will be better topic on it. Each player can write here, that he joins us and what he want. BUt without discuss about it - discuss here

Maybe start it in new topic will be better And pls everyone notice . its list of INTERESTED PLAYERS . Nothing about rules is done Just who is interested to try it And Iīm sure. I will also ask people in my league. Pls you and other for same,ask on MSN etc.

Jinxer, Heroes is not only game what i play on-line. I have huge experience with other TEAM based games. First what you need to know is ppl want to play with other "know" ppl. Second they want in his team only active and good ppl. If you try to force something its never work.
Clans are COMPETITION not academy for newbies. If some one want to teach other new ppl he don't need to be in clan with them. For example Vangelis many time asked me in MSN about Heroes and receive answers from me. If we talk about how to teach ppl you need to talk them in msn and after it practice with games. Team pro+pro+newbie wont teach them if there not active communication.
All games to be only clan wars is bad idea. We cant get enough active ppl for play 1vs1 and you want to make it 3vs3= dead start from begin. I can bet: cant all ppl be free all time.
Don't know how you get regular so "genius" ideas Jinxer but FORGET ABOUT IT !
Main problem for down activity is "old" point system. Its design for over 100 ppl. Only way to up activity and make possible games from High rank vs newbies is to be add "protection rule" (its used in every online game!!!). This don't mean all Lords/Emperor will start play only with new ppl because its wont be challenge...but sure wont stop them some time to give chance new ppl.

Elit.. please be quiet.. You are talking circles I dont care. You hve made your point. You dont like this idea. I can respect that. So dont join. Go be by your self or with infinitus. This discussion is for those who are willing to embrass progression.
If you continue to flood this thread with your flames and same old comments over and over, then I will just give up on the whole thing. Maybe thats what you want. If it cant be your way Elit then you dont want anyone to play.
I request that the MODERATORS do some Moderatoring and keep the trash out of this thread. I welcome all comments that are based around making this work. If your only comment is that you dont like it, then please keep them out. Noone says you have to participate.
Vesuvius is NEVER going to change the TOH Ranking Forumla so give it up. If you cant understand that then its even more pointless to be replying to your silly posts.

For sure you have right - problem with time in 3v3 games won't be easy to go through with it. You are right also that all players can increase their skills in games 1v1, by asking other ppl and so on. But we can try to invite new players,interested theme by Clan tournament. Only try - what will be later - we will see.

Thats why I wanted larger explanation from you Elit I agree in lot things.
Problem in your way is number of players - specially new ones. But again we canīt say nothing without that we will have number of players and their opinions.
Jinx idea. Sure its not academy.. I see in it competition, where every clan has chance to be good(not saying win). And here cares a lot how players in clan can help each other. Help to be better and better. Call it inside training. In clan Will - Natalka - Infinitus. What do you want to get better here?
But what I suggest now - piece for a while. Make this inquiry(I will create topic, see how many players we can have, what type of players etc. OK?
Just one more off topic question - why canīt Vex change formula?

Its the main problem. For this activity will be low. ToH need to adapt if want to up activity.
I'm play text based game (utopia)last 10+ years and its "dead" because now have only 20k players compare 100k from 1998 !!!
But still this game have huge number and ToH cant ever pass 100 active people. One from main reason this text based game to survive is good protection for different level players. Go check/try other on-line games and you will see every one have "protection rule". In some games its called 50% other is x2.5 range but main idea is same.
For final: How you consider your post for "productive" and my for "trash" Jinxer?

Believe it or not Elit.. I do agree with you that the current ranking forumla is Preventing the High Ranked players from Playing the Lower ranked players so it doesnt help activity.. I agree! BUT this thread is not talking about that. If Ves wants to add such a protection to the rankings then I will for sure be happy and support it. But I dont see that happening.
My goal in this thread was to try and create something that I felt we DO have a chance of changing and making a reality. And since we BOTH agree that we need to make it possible for HIgh Ranked and Low ranked players to interact.. That is where these ideas are based.
Forcing High Ranked players to accept low ranked players into there clans.. This will give the low ranked players the chance to find and meet other players and increase activity at the same time giving us higher ranked players a tournament that we can play in at same time. And over time the lower ranked players will grow and become higher ranked players.
I dont understand how and why you cannot see this? Playing PRO-Pro-Pro vs Pro-Pro-Pro is just not working. People are bored with it and thats why it is DEAD. ANd playing Pro-Pro-Pro vs. Newbie-Newbie-Newbie obviously wont work.

I'm sure that there will be sizes for everyone's taste.
I'd not prefer maps to be too small, except for 1vs1 clan maps,
but for 3vs3, bigger is better.

Here have misunderstanding when i told 3vs3. Its mean 3 games 1vs1 not 1 game 3vs3.
