Rikku, not recalling her drowning incident earlier, walks right into the water. If the water was too deep, being able to swim was a surety. Or so was thought.

Mark didn't find much of interest except for a few mushrooms, but the halfling was already investigating them when his pointy eared companion said "I think someone is coming." A bit later he could see two other pointy eared people come out of the woods. Mark prepared his axe before starting to walk towards the two.
"Greetings and salutations...'friends'?" Mark said a bit hesitating wondering wether the people in front of them really were friends or foes.

Rikku stopped, almost falling into the swamp water. The realization of the inability to swim came back to mind.
"I would love to be your friend... Though, now that I think about it, is this safe to cross, so we could become friends?"

Mark lowered his axe a bit before grinningly say "Don't you worry! The water is so shallow that even I with my short legs can cross." then he looked at the person who had been shorter then him "And that guy over there too!" Mark pointed.

Rikkus continues forth, fighting through the mud. Not long, the distance is made, and Rikku stands with the others, looking at them all.
"I'm... Tidus." Rikku felt odd using that name, but still didn't feel like herself. Not that she would stop if she didn't feel as such. She was already known as Tidus. Why change now?
"You all are? And what are you doing over here?"

Doom's face twisted with anger behind Rikku's back when the latter stepped forward. That man just couldn't stay put. They could have found much more information from simple observation, such as the group's weaknesses. As it is now, it is clear that any hostile action will not turn out well for the pair and they again need to revert to diplomacy. Doom realized that staying hidden after his partner revealed himself might cause some trouble if he is found, so he stepped out into the clear as well.
"And I am called Victor von Doom. Well met. Are you quite certain that a desolate place like this swamp is the best location to conduct your scavenger hunt?"

The other pointy-eared man introduced himself. This one seemed grumpy and asked why the party would search in a swamp. "Well, we have no real idea about where we can find all of this stuff, and we do not really know alot about this island or whatever this whole thing is that we are on. So we just decided to wander off and see what happens...or something. Ask the small guy, I think he is the leader here." Mark shrugged

The strapped map was quickly fetches out of the pocket and unbound, showing it to the guests: "This is an ideal location, since there is not many other places to actually search. Surely there are ruins here, but they are further in. Just a short question, how are you guys going to get alive out of this swamp without help?" The last gesture was not impolite after all.

Abaddon didn't said a thing. He didn't trusted the pointy eared people. Manipulative and hipocritical, that was their nature. He tried his best to conceal the growing anger. He was know for his hatred for anything inhuman.

Kamahl is somewhat relieved to learn that it was just two fellow adventurers rather than the death slinging, breath stealing, slashing monsters of the swamp.

Jack swaggers over to see the newcomers with her most charismatic grin plastered across her face. “Jack Sparrow mates,” she greets. “And what might a couple of fine gentlemen such as yourselves be doing in a nasty old place like this?”
Brock greets the newcomers as well, though as neither appears female it's a perfectly ordinary greeting--no on-the-spot proposals for marriage or loud declarations of love. ((Just going to auto him for now. Will dump him off with Glenn later.))

Glenn is still unaware that there has been any new adventurers who had entered the area. He was far too involved with these accursed mushrooms that zap without much warning. A puzzle, perhaps? He thought so. Though, the answer was right before them, if it was so. However, that was in the past. A portion of it remained, at least. Not fully, but it may be of some help. He walked over to the red one, and touched it. He then went to the orange one, and did the same.

Rikku smiled as each one introduced themselves. One even hinted at them joining forces. Odd, but it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. The sight of Jack was a little refreshing. Having seen males almost everywhere, it almost seemed as though that was all there were.
"Hello Jack. Or, Jackie?"
The shortest of them hadn't introduced himself, though it seemed to be only a child. A child that was mentioned to be their leader? This was extremely odd. The child-like being was wandering around, touching mushrooms. Were they all mad?
"Um.... Who is that then, and what is he doing?

- Trying to touch those things in a particular order, that's what he seems doing.-Said Abaddon- A child went missing and this is where the trail ends.- he looked at the two sharpears suspiciously. He may gived out more than it was needed, however the two didn't showed any hostility towards the group. But who knows.

His body might be that one of a child, but his mind and soul is most defintivly adult. We are really not sure what happened to us really."

Doom was inspecting this new group ever since he introduced himself. They were so different from the first group they met. These one were literally of all shapes and sizes. Even the Krees didn't assume such forms. So now it was finally certain that they are not in any world known to Doom. And there was something else as well, several of them mentioned that they are from some distant land and claimed that there's no way the duo could know anything about it. If that land is such a secret that only a select few know about it, then why do they share its name with strangers so easily? And then came the most important part - they didn't know what happened to them.
Doom looked at the bearded dwarf and asked:
"What do you mean by that?"

"Well..." Mark started and hesitated for a moment. He did not know what it was but something about the two pointy eared ones told him that they were in a simular situasion as he himself, and the rest of the party. "..You may think me crazy when I say this, but I do not really look like this." Mark said and pulled his own beard "Short and beardy, this spiecies is called a 'dwarf' in this world it seems. I am really a normal human from a continent named Elibe, and in Elibe I function as a traveling tactician-for-hire. I was currently doing work to defeat an evil mad magician named Nergal when I suddenly found myself here on this island...in this body. And I was not alone, around me were these other fellas that you see here now, all with simular stories. And I suppose you too, have fallen for a simular fate, or so my gut tells me." Mark said and grinned to hide the fact that he wanted to beat himself up for saying something stupid.

Rikku was about to get to Jack's question, after the answer of Glenn's actions were taken care of, but then Victor and Mark started conversing. This led to some very peculiar information. Dwarf? In this world? Did they, too, get into the same mess? And Victor as well? That would explain a few things, but makes a lot more more complicated.
Rikku continued thinking. Was this actually Spira, or was this a new world? Doubt was now at its greatest, for such a thing to be true. Where then?
This Mark also mentioned being in a body different than his own. The experience was shared. Though, this didn't in the least help her feel any better. This body was all wrong.
Why was he so open though, even with those he suspected of being in the same situation as he? He didn't sound completely positive. However, he was right. Since this story was pretty-well dead-on with her situation, she decided to answer him.
"Well, I am in a similar situation as you, yes. And now that I think about it, Victor seems to be as well. Have any of you found out any information on the why?"

Doom nodded as the man he knew as Tidus suggested that he had experienced the same thing as everyone else. Hiding it would not benefit him in the slightest, while admitting he was in the same boat as everyone else made it easier for him to acquire future slaves allies.
