hello Magnomagnus!
I use your Mod since 2 months and i have a problem with the Perk "offensive formation" because when i use this perk with a faction like inferno or dungeon it simply don't work!
The attack of my creatures is still the same, even if they are close together...
Is it a Bug? i want to precise that i use only NCF but no other Mod!

I tested this very long ago, and in my case it worked. Is it only dungeon/inferno or all factions except fortress? and what do you mean by NCF, there are many NCF based mods. Have you also got the 3.1 patch installed.

hello!
the offensive and defensive formation don't work with all the class except the dwarves!
i tested offensive formation with orlando ( demon lord) on the map " Duel" it don't work, and it's the same with sylvan's "gillion" the defensive formation don't gave me the bonus of defense when the creatures are close to each other.
I clean my user mod fodder and i puted only your mod with the addons ( for more balance game as you say)and i clean my data fodder also there is only your h5 RPE frame, i take out the NCF files to be sure there are not the cause of this bug ( sorry for my english).
What i do wrong? In my mind when i had installed your mod there is 2 months the defensive and offensive formation worked properly, i have modify nothing in your files i can't understand why now it don't work.
the patch i used is 3.1.
can i have todo a complete reinstall?

Unfortunately I don't think there is any more I can do at the moment. If several years ago my tests had indicated these skills didn't work I would have left them out, but perhaps my test were not perfect. Maybe the skills stop functioning after a certain amount of time or in combination with other skills, I don't know. In any case if these skills are buggish, there is nothing I can do about it because that requires changes in the exe file.

ok thanks for replying, i think these skills can't work with others factions cause it's a hard code limitations, i will change your skillwheel in order that only dwarves can have these skills, or perhaps if i had times i'll create a new skill wheel (like you) who feets better all factions.

This is truly an amazing mod.
It adds more depth to the Heroes game I know and love, and I deeply appreciate all the hard work that must have gone into this.
Is it still in development, or do you feel done Sir magnomagus?

Thanks for your praises and sorry for late reply. I'm still around sometimes, but the mod is no longer in development. Any possible improvement is currently 'hard coded material'. I was hoping the mod could work together with Quantomas AI project, but he has other plans.
I have recently discovered low-budget dual core cpu's (like core i3-2130) with high clockspeed are a decent alternative to speed up the AI. Hopefully advancements in computer technology in the future can boost AI performance even more and this mod remains worth playing.
As for the pictures, imageshack servers are not 100% reliable, but overall I'm very satisfied with their services.

Hello everyone
My friends and I really like the mod.
We tried to play MP.
Unfortunately after a few days of playing the game crashes. (actually they said it crashes after a few weeks game in single player as well).
Do you know what may be the reason and how to fix this?
all files in user mod folder are the same for all players.
I never experienced a crash on my own.

Hey there. fyi Mag's not been around for a while.
What sort of maps are you playing? I remember that MP can have problems with some scripts; I think that can be true with all Mods.
You've probably already done this, but maybe try a map that's script-free to see if the crashes still occur?
One other thought, are you all Mod-free except this one?

Heya thanks for the answer.
We do not have any other mods/files beside the one that come with the g5mod rar file.
We are playing without the following addons (from the addon folder)
- H5-RPE-Buildings10.h5u
- H5-RPE-AI-Scripts10.h5u
all other files are in place as the readme states.

Hello again.
I tried to generate a random map with the map editor that is included but it didnt happened.
The mod notes state that random map cannot be generated from the game.
I was wondering if this is valid for the map editor.
If it is valid why a new map editor exe fail is included in the mod zip file ??

I'm not perfectly sure what you're asking but the Editor is stand-alone so no Mod should interfere with it. It's only the in-game RMG that will be affected by some Mods.
As far as the exe, iirc, years ago I created my shortcut to the Editor's Icon in the Bin folder but it ran strangely. Since then I've always opened it directly from the Bin Editor Icon. Since I work with it continually the Editor is always in my recent files and works like a desktop icon. No matter what I've tried with Mods that's always worked.
I can't remember what the problem was but having the editor linked to the desktop caused a conflict of some sort, maybe files?

Since it conflicts with the "j- A.I." I've not played this Mod.
I would guess the cores refer to H4 and H5 versions of game-basics. Isn't it explained in the OP?

what does OP mean?
I searched the folder but didnt find anything connected to those 2 letters.
During the search i noticed this folder
H5RMGTE_1.0.2.1
it includes the following 3 files:
H5RMGTE.exe
H5RMGTECore.dll
H5RMGTEGui.dll
what are they for?
