Just some thoughts in trying to help.
RU playing LAN or online? And no doubt you've both got rid of all other Mod's and Maps, I'd also suggest remove all Saves from your default directories and clear all auto-saves from both machines too before beginning again.
I didn't have it happen often but once I remember a bug that "as best as I could tell" was inside the save. I had already made sure everything else was empty so this was the last place to try. I had to start over but the bug was gone. {But it was SP not MP}
Not saying this will make a dime's worth of difference. <imo> The action of Auto-Saving can be a leaky business depending if you have other programs firing at the same time of the save-process. I shut down everything before playing and it does help but I don't imagine in MP that's easy to do.
Anyway, hope you figure it out.

Your mod is very interesting because it adds new dimensions to all HoMM races. It's very bad that you and Quantomas couldn't find a way to collaborate yourselves to make both Eternal Essence AI mod and Role Play project to be compatible with each other.
I am so used to Quantomas mod that without it AI behaviour seems very generic and stupid. But your project remains perfect for multiplayer game.
I just tried to play against myself on small map
Game rolled Engineer for red player and Heretiń for blue. It was quite enjoyable to play because game didn't offer me random skills as before and i had choice from branches of really helpful skills and abilities.

Magnamarus, I want to let you know that your great MOD is one of the greatest I have ever played.
I can put the mod next to heroes 3 WT mod. I have read all the manuals and did some tryouts on maps just to feel the development of the hero.
Actually the only minus i see is may be the size of the maps. (scale is too small/zoomed in).
Currently some of my colleagues and I are hooked up on playing tourneys on this mod. It really makes every class and skill even.
One of the smartest moves was to put the initiative spec (- 0.5% per level) to non fighter classes! This minimizes quite a lot the synergy of warrior class + initiative spec (and of course the skill thingy mentioned by Fierro). Great thinking there!

Hello again magnogamus.
I am sorry but i think i am not sure i installed exe files of RPE-QAI correctly. Some of interface parts are existing but inactive (lookahead depth and so on). And when I choose difficulty, its appearance is the same as in RPE. Should it be so?
On the other hand, AI seems to work in a way like it did with Quantomas AI. I am not sure still, because AI is so listless, but i blame it on map with water again because in tavern it showed that AI was stronger than my hero on "Normal" difficulty (while without Q AI it was usually shown that I am the strongest)

Hi, if the AI progress bar is just a thin line it works, this is an older version without the interface settings. On normal & hard it is balanced, on expert & champion it is harder than the latest version because it still cheats (I personally like this version more because of that). I'm not sure if installing multiple versions of Q-AI in bin folder will cause bugs. I have had no problems with water with this version, setting offensive/defensive makes big difference in aggressiveness.

I think this actually means you did it wrong, because you shouldn't even see them. Make sure you use the right H5_AIprocess also don't use a wrong shortcut, run from the exe file.

And i have another question - what do I do if i have learned everything i can?
I passed 50% of map and have achieved level 30, I am curious what happens if I gain enough experience for next level

Then you should get level-up. The game's maximal level is 40.
By the way - is it possible to make this cap higher? I mean that I'd like to make it possible to get even 50th level if I get enough experience.

Hi Markur,
I think I may have mistaken something.
What is the heroes version that RPE mod supports?
We have Tote installed + 3.01 patch installed (this is the latest i could find). We have RPE installed over it.
We do not have previous save games or any other maps except default.
Issue still occurs (at some point when you level up and give turn to the other player the game turn is not transfered, this happens only when the host gives turn to the other player and not the other way around).

iirc 3.1 is correct.
You should follow Mag's advice about his RPE Mod and what it will work with; I think he recently listed one of Q's experimental A.I. Betas and good to use.
Quantomas inserting 8 Hero slots and the final (to date) tweaks ruined me for anything but the "J" A.I.

Let me give you some feedback on how to make h5 RPE playable for multi.
1. install h5 TOTE
2. patch it till 3.01
3. Install RPE
4. Download Quantomas RAR for RPE and use only the H5-RPE-QAI-Game.exe play the game.
The game is damn good in multi.
so far we did like 3-4 full games, it is soo interesting and factions are very competitive (I still have not tried necro and inferno).
The only BUG i have seen so far are the battle griffins (the one with the red blood). When you attack them as NPCs they immidiately do the battle dive (no wait till next turn) which can cripple you badlly in early stages of the game.
Thanks for all the help you can make this visible or part of the first thread so newcommoners may see it .

Hi, thanks for the feedback, can I get from your post that the weird bug with turns disappeared with the QAI exe file?
Regarding the battle griffins, I don't think that can be caused by the RPE.

Yes the bug is no more!
I will keep you updated if i find anything weird.
With the time passing I will try to implement more Mods and check their consistency.

Hello guys,
sendin some feedback.
currently I am playing necropolis against stronghold.
I chose necromancer for a main hero. I was extremely worried that this hero will suck as he gains no attack or def but here are some tips:
- he grinds very very fast with no casualties (raise dead always before end of combat).
- necromancy skill increase your army!!!
- due to fast grind town evolve very fast! (champion difficulty i got bone dragons on second week).
- ALWAYS get enlightment for bonuses and faster level up.
disadvantages:
- no attack or def which make your army die as a flies
- very bad choice against stronghold
how to compensate
- search for attack/def artefacts
- get expert luck + the skill that gives second chance to army specials
- get alternative upgrades that give you disables (skeleton bash, vampire torpor)
- get the necromancy "scream" skill (-2 moral, luck -10% init).
- serach for artefacts that reduce moral and luck.
- lvl 6 tier MUST be wraith.
- get 2 magic schools (summon and dark) so you will have at least one unshatered.
Strategies with the upper combinations:
- use necromancy for vampires and banshees during the game so you can have a LOT!
- resurect + necromancy allow you to charge early vital enemies like border guards and utopias - DO NOT hesitate
- in battle - use SCREAM as first hero act, then use banshees howl in strategic position it will deal a lot of damage!
- in battle - keep your vampires safe and try to torpor improtant unit with them. keep "arcane armor" on them always active if available.
- if dark magic is not shattered you know what to do with it .
- against opponent with weak archers, use a lot of "summon mines", they really do a lot of dmg !!!
As a whole Necromancers are very flexible class depending on map and situation. I will let you know what happens when we finish the game.
Second anouncement - we will try to run the mod (heroes V + RPE + quontomas exe) on MAC. I will let you know with the results.
