Because TL have been always very biased towards TaeJa and his infamous "Summer of TaeJa".
Giving him the Best Terran award is already quite biased. Yes, he won 5 premier tournament, but the level of competition on those tournaments were low compared to Korea. Heck, even DreamHack Winter, which is his biggest victory of the year, only had TWO player from Korea Premier League.
In my opinion, INnoVation should have won the best T award. It's true that since the Hellbat nerf he wasn't that great, but still, if we are reviewing the whole year, bogus did:
- Won THREE team leagues. Those were the three best team leagues too (Proleague, GSTL, ATC). But not only that, he was the best player of his team in all three team leagues, and he was the second, best and best player of the whole tournament respectively. TaeJa participated in two of them: in Proleague he was bad (9 victories 10 loses, compare that to Inno 43-20 xD). In ATC, they were pretty even (20-12 TaeJa, 20-7 bogus), but not only bogus lose less times, he also was much better in the offline playoffs (TaeJa 1-3, INno 3-2).
- Both of them started in Korea. Both of them made into the last GSL of WoL playoffs. The only difference was one map: INno lost against Symbol 2-3 (one of the finalist), while TaeJa barely won 3-2 against soulkey, to then proceed to lose 1-4 in semifinals against RorO. That's pretty much even.
- In WCS Korea season 1, INnovation made the impossible, coming out of the HARDES GROUP OF DEATH ever had (Life Bogus Flash PartinG) and reaching the finals, where he barely lost 3-4 to Soulkey. What did TaeJa in that GSL? Lose in Ro16
- In season 2 TaeJa went to America (weaker region). he made to the semifinals, which is a good result, but Inno semifinal on Korea weights more.
- In season 3 both of them fell in RO16...but again, Korea region weights more.
- In Season finals, Inno won Season 1 while he fell in Ro16 of season 2. TaeJa only made into Season 2 and reached semifinals.
- In Blizzcon, but fell in Ro16.
Thus, in the official WCS circuit, in the hardest tournaments, INnovation has an edge. A considerable one if you ask me.
And then, in some of the tournaments TaeJa won, inno was just behind him. DH Bucharest? INno 2nd. DH Winter? INno 4th. And in MLG winter, where both played, INno ended 3rd while taeja only made top 16.
TaeJa had an impressive tournament record, but putting everything on the table, I don't think he deserve best T award.

- 2 hours, 21 minutes, 11 seconds of duration.
- Mech vs Swarm Host
- Game ended in a TIE FORCED BY KESPA REFEREES.
Do I need to say anything more?

For me it's obvious that BOTH Swarm Hosts and Ravens need some kind of nerf/change.
From this game, PDD was a real problem - maybe they shouldn't benefit from the time upgrade?
As for Swarm Hosts, I still think they should be changed to favour the play of burrowing SH, sending a locust wave and then step back. And adding a window of time were there are no locust on the field, so turtling behind a spine/spore wall leaves you vulnerable for some seconds.
But following Blizzard logic, Tanks will recieve extra damage against buildings or sth stupid like that
Edit: THe rematch game on 40 minutes already. You guessed right, SH vs Mech

There is use of Swarm Hosts I like -> Not turtling with static defence. That goes to all races, turtling with static defence is not cool...

Because I like Swarm Hosts.
To be honest, that game was really bad(Soulkey vs. Reality first game), but rematch was quite good, Reality tried the same thing and Soulkey adapted and punished him for doing so. Then we Rain vs. Shine where Rain punished Shine's bad play because he just used 6 Swarm Hosts and left them there like a good silver league player...
RorO against Rain also got a lot of bad-mouthing, but I just finished the game and the game was actually quite good with constant attacking from both sides and a lot of Multitasking, even though main armies were Colossi, Templars and Voids against Swarm Hosts, Infestors, Corruptors and Vipers, the game was really decent.
I didn't watch the last game though.
