Hmm... might be a load order issue then. I've been kinda in the dark on the load order side since the BOSS dude quit... hate managing it on my own.
Ah well, not using a Power Armor character right now, so I'm good anyway.

Ah yeah, power gamer silenced sniper-shot from 5000m distance... yeah VATS is pretty useless at that distance
Meanwhile I started up SupCom after discussing it with a friend and getting an urge to play it again. Oh god I can't remember anything haha.

I'll tell you what breaks the game:
combination of:
melee weapons (or more precisely: chance's knife, and blood nap)
Rad child + 800 RADs
all of the critical chance boosters (built to destroy, finesse, 1st rec berret, ulysses' duster, ninja perk with bugfix installed)
chemist perk
critdam boosters: better crits perk, elijah's ramblings, just lucky I'm alive perk
Combine them all, rape all.

Hmm... never thought of using Rad Child. Huh, guess there's a use for Survival after all!
It's not really that hard to own anyway though... those kinda really powerful builds are real fun to find when the game is actually challenging.

True. That's why I recommend installing mods that pimp the encounters and make the numbers two-three times as big.
Rad Child gives you 8 HP regen/second. It's basically full stimpack independence and the ability to charge like a real Spartan: into the heat of any battle (excluding deathclaw battles ofc.) Life points practically stream out of your ears and you regenerate wounds in a matter of seconds. Awesome and totally worth losing 2STR and 3END due to radiation sickness.

You don't need all those perks.
Just pick the sniper perks and get the Gun runners arsenal sniper+upgrades.
Last time I tried it would 1 shot deathclaws

What sniper perks? The only one is better crits, and you have it already. The melee build progresses into sniping in later levels. It's just that for level 1-20 you are a powerhouse because you regenerate like a beast and you require no ammunition, whereas the uberpowered explosive GRA 50MG bullets are expensive and annoying to stock up. Blood nap has the best overall dps in game if you stock up crit perks + crit gear (if you consider dps drops due to reloads for guns) except maybe gatling laser against 0DT targets (but gatling laser requires 200 ammo per second for the maximum dps, and that's just beyond impractical - you're dry after a couple seconds - and it sucks vs. anything with armor) and doesn't require ammo - a blessing if you like Hardcore.
Blood nap maxes out at 600 dps iirc. It beats many "usual gamer's" choices even without considering dps drops from reloads, ignores up to 15 DT, doesn't require ammo and does extra damage to abominations. For comparison, noob-pick called "this machine" has a constant of 200-300 dps at DT0, considerably less at DT15, and when you take reload times in the true dps is probably in 150-180 range. That's 4x less.
I end up with five weapons at level 50, all being used extensively :
- Blood nap
- Industrial hand (fun)
- Riot Shotgun (okay, I like cheese called "And Stay Down" aka biggest imbalance ever in a Fallout game )
- Survivalist rifle (easily the best all round gun)
- GRA Antimateriel rifle (and the biggest cheese is that explosive shots are silent and splash damage gets headshot modifiers LOL)

Speaking of new(ish) games.
Is Borderlands Game of the Year edition or Space Marine in brand new boxed copy format for 9.99$ a good price? I saw those at Giant Tiger the other day... not that I could play either of them. Shooters make me sick (from motion I mean).

$10.00 for Space Marine is a good price. $10.00 for Borderlands GOTY edition is an awesome price.

L.A. Noire is lots of fun, but I wish the murderer wouldn't be so obvious in every single case.
Gonna finish L.A. Noire and play Mists beta and then get my free Diablo 3. ^^
