what a great player!!
i've noticed a lotta negative posts lately
well this one is dedicated to anybody ya think gave ya a great game, won or lost!
i'll start it off with ZUD!!
had a really good game with him on SD-sod he broke to middle ahead a me and was tryin for both of the topia's
he took first one and wacked the guards in fronta the second one but didn't have the movement left to get into the topia. i was standing just outta site and snuck in and grabbed the topia!! hehehe i still got wooped in the end but it was fun pullin a fast one on ole zud none the less!! 
thx for the great game bud. it was a while ago though  wish i had more time for more like that.

too bad noone posted here so far. i bet they are too scared to forget someone hehe and they might get mad.

I played a lot games this TOH season most with some really cool and outstanding guys
I hope i wont forget someone hehe i apologize in advance if i do so
my favourite opponents (i only mention opponents i played 3 times or more or i had to write down 50 names or more and im just too lazy to do it ):
Andiangelslayer: my coach, my 2o2 ally , and one of my all time fav opponents. Allways fun to play him even if i get my butt kicked in 49 out of 50 games . Thank you again Andi that i can finally manage to stay over 1000 pts hehe
Destro23: Damn i miss the times when we played at least 1 2o2 per day . that 2o2s really kicked ass. destro is a fair, challenging and what i like most : talkative - player
too bad most 2o2 veterans quit homm and its damn hard to get a game goin now  . I still hope these times come back .
Grandelf: when i heared grand quit homm i couldnt believe it . i enjoyed every game with him and can't tell how much i thank him for playing me when i used to have a connection that dropped me 25 times a game with a ping of 5000 or more.
Implo_Elf come back !!!
Philly_smoke : on of the players i played first time this season and immediatly added to my buddys list after the game . if u looking for a lot fun zm philly for a game
Rashjones: i havent seen him often on zone since the .net passport system is beeing used but when season started we played each other a lot and ever game was very close. i hope to play ya again soon bud .
Mad_Unicorn: well what to tell about mad...well he is mad j.k. Mad is a very humorous opponent and every game was very entertaining . i love opponents that dont take this game too serious and are talkative with a sense of humor
Jinxer: jinxer does a great job as volunter and allways fun to play him .i really dont know why but when i play jinxer luck hunts me lol .Even if i dont host .
jinxer don't forget u promissed me a match on "no way out" .

Just have a couple of names to mention. Ill leave about 50 names out, but u all know who u are
Titan_888: My favourite ally, he has probably laughed hit hiney off more than anyone else, when I pull some silly stunt and loose the game for us. Never a word about I could have done better, and we prolly should have won
Eliogabalus: The only person who I ever gloated before because I won. Offcourse it was in fest, and he had just beaten me 7 times in a row. But hell, u know its a great person u are playing when u dont mind playing fest on unlimited time ;P
Jinxer: Besides doing a huge amount as a volunteer, Ive also had some great games with this guy. And contrary to Motor, it seems like its Jinxer who gets all the luck in our games. But none off us minds, as they are usually great fun
A_Snake: Only got one thing to say here. This is the only person I played DW with season 3. Ya all know that aint my fav map, but its always such a pleasure to play this guy
Vex: Well he let me run off in the middle off a game I was loosing bad, and when I said I didnt have time to finish the game for 2 weeks, he just said, well then we finish it when u have time. So we did, and offcourse I lost, but it was a great feeling

Frank - great player.
Mastermind. He showed me all (I hope-hehe) his tricks in a friendly manner. When Frank analyse a map then he becomes unbeatable. His analyse of some maps are done in a creative way and his chaining style is amazing. On bettle for honor or "me vs you" he is able to kill 5-6 of your scouts in same turn. With same army.
He masters any map slow but sure. And his knowdledge is tremendous because he is working on it each day.
Mocara- great player. Never whining. But a little predictable as style. He is "the magic player". With him I know always what will happen. But not the issue. He will make you hard life using all little tricks only a rich imagination can create. And at the end it becomes a really new global strategy. Even if I win I will always look at saves to learn.
Prometheus- well, this is an old one. Unbeatable in HoMM2. Unbeatable I bet in HoMM4. His style is a mixture of Frank and Mocara. But with personal moves which always amazed me.
Tamanrasset- great player and friend. We meet in real life and spend 2 nights to play hotseat in my house. Always had fun games with him, since HoMM2 where we played often.
JB- well, not kidding, great player and human beeing from the new generation. He knew always I don't agree with his work on maps but never showed animosity and always played me (in allied game) fair and honestly.When we were allied I noticed great moves from his side which most of new players can never imagine.And, the most important thing, when Frank was hitting and running both of us to death, he never complained and he found the solution to win. Congrat, JB

Prometheus - His 'I will find a way method changed the way I played the game'
Frank - Makes the battlefield seem bigger. Amazing battle tactics.
Salamandre - A master of every aspect of the game.
The Vulture - Funny player who never shuts up.
ZX9 - I wish he'd come back.
Slugtard - You need to come back too
TRoPPo - Took me under his wing and showed me how to play the game.
Sisyphus - So funny you will forget how good he is. Mistake.
LadyGoldfinger - Just a fun and honorable player.

I think I will almost certainly forget a few players here...
Agreeing totally with Motor... those 2o2 games were a blast and allowed me to play much Homm while doing various programming work for school.. but that might be thanks to Activemaker So yeah Motor and Andi are great opponents.. but damn hard to beat

I have also only started playing recently on a regular basis... usually late at night (for me) and usually a losing endeavor but always enjoyable none the less.. even if the game takes 3-4 saves to complete because I am falling asleep at keyboard.
well now that I probably forgot someone or 10 people I will go into some of the more memorable 1 time games btw I love this topic.
Mocara : played one game with him (so far) and got hit and ran into the dirt, well almost... still put up a great fight inside his castle.. An Amazingly fun game.. I get my revenge someday
Zud: Only had one game with him so far too.. on HGXL.. Was a really fun game and I think he was surprised at the outcome..
Damn does it ever suck knowing there are soo many more to mention.. but as I am running out of room and it will hopefully be my turn soon I guess I wait till later and add some more.

i had oportunity to host a game between frank and another opp for one of the TOH tourneys, cann't recall offhand which one
it was definitly an eyeopenning experience!!
great idea for newbies if ya ever get a chance to do it. some of the TOH tourneys use third party hosts for there tourneys. ya get to sit there and watch some really graet players go at it.
I also got to watch flammy against yawacko once as well. it was a very cool experience.
then i hosted one of these matches for ZUD!! that was really funny!! man does he suck!!
hehehehehe!!!!!! just yankin yer chain ole buddy!!
Frank, Flammy, and Yawacko get nod for bein the most extraordinary players i've ever had the honor to watch play.
there are probably others as good they just the only ones i ever got ta watch in this manner.
p.s. in case ya missed my sarcasm, i never actually hosted anything fer that baaaaastaaard zud!!

Yeah I wanted to mention Destro too.
He said he likes no rules and he drew necro.
I said "maybe you might want to consider the no rules thing because on an XL random I am afraid I will have to hit and run those skellies down to size."
He still refused to set a rule. What a guy. A no hit and run rule would have pretty much guaranteed him the game on day1.
Sho nuff he comes to me w/1600 skellies and I hit and run the his army down to reasonable size to where I can put up a good fight.
I was so afraid he would be mad and I was prepared just to concede to avoid hard feelings.
Instead he congratulates me and says "That's what I would have done."
Destro is a player after my own heart and I have tons of respect for him after that.
I managed to pull out the game through a miracle and some luck in our final battle and Destro was gracious as any opponent I have ever had.
I can't wait to play you again fellow death metal freek =)

I'd like to add elioblabla (known to some as eliogabalus) to this list. I played him lots in the Nations tourney, and even tho he beat me up over and over and over they were some of the most fun games i played that season. It was also fun when i actually won that 1 game outta 100, thanks to inferno!!
another of the most fun games i played was a 2v2 with SirPunk vs Frank and Sal - we played on Sal's map, the Quest and it was my first game(i think) playing with computers as well as human opponents, and i don't think i have ever laughed so hard in a game The computer decided it hated my poor ally, and chased him down no matter what he tried to do, it was quite funny (poor SirPunk) so i guess to my list of players i have to add AI - lol that dude cracked me up Have to play that one again sometime, and to those of you who haven't done a 2v2 with comps, i highly recommend it, its big fun! Oh yeah, Sal, Frank and SirPunk were also all great just not as funny as that comp, lol

It was my map, supposed to be an impossible one.Pandora allied with Punk and overplayed us. We didn't finish it but she was in better, much better position. I add her on my great players list and preferated girls. Lucky that we didn't finish that one, Frank would become misogynous.

It's definately hard to name the great ones when you've played so many. What made Elio stick out in my mind was that it was the most fun i've had losing (and losing, and losing) which is a very cool thing
I think most of the people i play often know i hold them in high regard, otherwise i wouldn't come back for more

There are too many great players around, and I would be sad if I forgot someone. :-(
So all I can say is, look at my Toh, Encounters, Myths and B@st@rds record to see some great players. Of all these games only 5 people spring to mind that I would not want to play again.

I can name a quite a few great players & one thing I love the most is chatting with them while still playing a serious or fun game.
I played alot of great players from here & other tournaments & they know who they are
Dont lose the humor guys remember it does not matter how good you are but how much fun you have while playing.

great / players ... my favorites to play list ;p in no particular order
- Melissa X : lets just say that she plays as good as she looks ... but don't let her sweet-talk you into losing
- Mocara : very fun player, very good too
- Maxym / Prometheus : good players and fun to play.
- Zsa : so good I'm kinda scared to play him. He uses my own psychological tactics better than I do! (beware: if he talks about bad luck, don't believe him until he asks for a restart) lol
- Attila : he has a good side and a bad side. If you win, you're on the bad side. Very sneaky, but good.
- Flamingo : best I've played yet. More skilled than I am
- Mad_Unicorn: Don't play him on DoG!! (unless you're Flamingo)
- Montegoma : we seem to be at same skill level somehow (when we play eachother) ... this makes really fun games
- JoetheLoser : very nice and kind, but don't let that fool ya, he's as brutal as I am when he plays
all I can think of now ... and ... I still need to play you all sometime

was a great guy
when i firts started to play online there was this fellow that me and yawacko would always play with. he was a really cool guy. a really great player too.
I don't know if anybody remebers him his name was Mad Max
Now that i think about it i not sure if ever played in toh.
Oh well i used to play and chat with him alot. really good guy
