Not completely, it's my machine, so there are my answers! MUHAHAHAHAHA
EDIT: BRB going to go down and watch Deal or No Deal. After that I will post an answer.
EDIT2: Gnomes, I took the info you gave me and created a little story. However I might have done something you may (not?) like about your character, so I sent it you via HCM. Read it and give me feedback. Thank you

I like the story
Go ahead with it, but check the one small modification that I made to it first.
Also, Berny asked me for this character sheet, so here it is.
Name: Subject G9
Background: A survivor of Archon's purge of the Genesis project, Subject G9 was the scientist's beast creation. Emotionless and pitiless, this creature was strong enough to actually drive off Archon, who wasn't as strong as he is now. It hunts Miasma relentlessly, trying to join with it and create the ultimate form of life... With G9's personality dominant.
Appearance: Looks something like this, this or this
(Miasma looks somewhat like this as well, though more along these lines.)
Powers: Like Miasma, it can rip the powers out of supers around it, consuming them to become stronger. Unlike Miasma, though, it does not evolve as it drains powers. It can bend shadows and move like an inky liquid through solid surfaces, though it must quickly find a host if it does. G9 has no dependency on its current host and cannot be harmed by physical means other than extreme heat, cold, pressure and any attack that is like its own (shadow-based attacks). Any mental and spiritual attacks that are powerful or fast enough can also harm this creature. If it is next to Miasma, their powers overlap and become twice as strong, they do not cancel.
Skills: Due to its ability to blend into any human mold, the creature is virtually undetectable. G9 can also shift into bodies easily, though he has to wait for his current host to die before he can. It can smell the emotions of others as an almost primal instinct.
Personality: Subject G9 dislikes the chaos and disorder that humans bring into this world. It also is annoyed by Miasma, though that is because of Miasma's refusal to meld with it. G9's hosts are almost exclusively male, and it does not let its host gain a single ounce of control over his own body. G9 dictates every movement and every action so that it is always in complete control.
Current alliances: Allied with Xion (If that is all right). Otherwise, it is a rouge trooper that relentlessly hunts Miasma to complete its goal.

Hmmm...*checks his goal and plan*...hmmm....*re-checks it*....hmmm...*edits it to fit in Project G9*...hmmm...OKAY! Sure! Fine! Whatever! It works without to much change of plan. Now at the very least I got a quirky mini-boss squad member who I did not make myself

I must say B-E-T-A, I likes that sassy machine o' yours.
But I also have to say that you've misread my post. Edmund did not save the girl and jumped of the roof with her. She fell of and he kinda rammed her in midair in a clumsy attempt to save her from falling to her death. The effect is the same, but your Commisar seen it wrong

I know. The Commissioner is just assuming right now. What I tried to imply is that when he turned around all he saw was the gargoyle and the woman being in mid-air.
Btw the firestairs are on the same side as Edmund and Mona jumped off on.
And thanks about the machine, yeah I like it too. Originally I was thinking about making it project Rex Mallard, but I can do that some other time for the lolz

Oh, but we can still do that. However the projection then may start becoming rude and insulting. He may start threatening you and trying to get you into some kinda deal you'd best not refuse. In fact for some strange reason the projection starts bartering for the info it has, on very unequal terms I might add.
Also I may be interested in developing some kinda story like the one you made for Miasma. Without the inlcusion of any played chars other than mine. I gots some broad ideas already, but someone to help me with them might be usefull.

Hey, writing is an art, I would be honored to give you feedback and help you develop your story if that is what you need. Anyway I am in the middle of theorizing here. I mean, I am currently looking over all the supers and creating a chart over how they got their powers. We got plenty of people of unknown origin and I got to ask Berny about some of my theorizes on this chart, however some of my ideas I am kind of afraid to ask, as I feel like I am entering sue teretory(misspelled teretory here I know)...
Anyway Berny, do we make it down the firestairs or not?
Ohh, and I searched and replaced all the "Ouroboros" in Miasma's story with "Archon" hope it is good.

Yeah, well seeing how Edmund has amnesia due to something I already hinted at and intend to reveal more on later, I need a second way to tell his backstory other than his own flashbacks. Another char expressing interest in him and doing research on the subject.
Quote: I am currently looking over all the supers and creating a chart over how they got their powers.
I can reveal that at least as I already hinted pretty strongly at that. Edmund is a result of a long proces of Genetic engineering, random/unforseen mutation, surgery, brainwashing and neural reprogramming.
Seeing how most of Edmund's traits are physical, I was already wondering how: 1, they can be considered super? and 2, how they can be stolen.

Hey, Kip and Wog's characters got physical powers as well, and so got The Thing of The Fantastic 4, yet he could have them stolen from him. What happened was that he was turned back into the normal human he was before so...*shrugs* Guess Edmund got a cure.

No, not realy. I figured that either Mr. X, Redfox or the Commisar might be interested and use their networks to do the research.
But a new char might serve as well, however I do not think it necesary.
Also, will we other users get to see that chart you're working on. Either as work in progress or as a finished product.

Yeah I was thinking about posting it here, either as a simple "list" or as a image. But my discussion with Berny about it should go over HCM, as it uncover something that should stay secret.
EDIT: It is a simple as this:
Quote:
Zero/Dueler, Paladin, Calamity & Other "1. Gen" supers - The Cataclyst
Sidewinger & Inferno - Heritage
Jack Kane(Original), Rex Mallard, Carrie, Ouroboros, Econ, Emina & Michael, Minion, Raphael, Geoffrey
and Leon - Unknown
S.P.E.C.I.A.L. - Given to her by a real dragon or unknown
Xion - Morte's Experiments or Unknown
Jack Kane(Superhero version), The Doctor, Vladimir, Edmund, Palmer, Melony Fletcher/Miasma & Subject
G9 - Experiments and Genetical Modification
Rebecca (Betty) Kerns - Self-provided
However I was thinking about making this fancy by drawing you guys a diagram, chart and a map over different things. Will do that by hand and will have to use the school scanner, but could have it up by tomorrow.
Anyway, the big question is: "How did those on 'The unknown' part get their powers?" What do you guys(with exception of Berny) think?
EDIT2: I believe that by answering this question we will unravel the big badass plot.

I quite explicitly explained how Rex Mallard got his power in the Supervillains RPG. Want me to repeat it?
Edit:

Nah, that'd be to easy. Besides, most powerstealing here is of a different nature. Or at least in the way I interpret it. It the kind of drawing into the other for the power and using it against the other. It's not a permanent thing in the way it is explained.

Errr....we are not INSIDE the building? We are ON the roof heading for the firestairs. You know, This kind of stair. We are not superhuman(well, we are but...) we won't survive a fall from that height, and if we do we will end up seriously injured and in a hospital for the rest of the RP.

Yes please!

They are?! O.O I interpreted it like they "steal" our powers in the way that when it is stolen, we can't use it and the other ones got it(like Sylar in Heroes). I mean, how else could Ouroboros keep his telekinesis power on full time? Hmm?

Ok, B-E-T-A. Here goes.
1, that link in your last post is broken.
2, Time and Space manipulation are Ouroboros other powers. He has multiple. Read his bio. Also that stil don't realy explain how Edmund, Kane and Vlad's 'power' could be stolen. Melony's can as it would 'borrow' Miasma, theoretically.\
3, long story short. Rex was born with a latent/passive technopathy. Combined with his genius and mania, he became the Rex we've followed throuhg the series. Rex overexposed himself to increasing strenghts of EMP, short-circuiting something in his brain and turning his technopathy active. He's kind of a split personality now.
I do not intend to roleplay Rex directly in this much and I ask you don't either.
