Better or worse are purely subjective unless you set down some base variables, run into this argument all the time for instance who is a better player X or Y? Or Which champ is better X or Y.
All depends on what you want to do, or what factors you're looking at, there's no universally better or worse when comparing two champs or two championship tier players.
I mean League is both competitive and fun, plus you can go full casual if you want, never played Dota 2 so couldn't even compare the two if I had to, I simply like league and I got no reason to change seeing how it took me years to get to decent tier with mechanics and game knowledge.

Years passed, and something incredible happened. Surprise,surprise. There is Teemo from LoL that ripped of completely from new hero idea on Dota Allstars. Once again a unavoidable conflict is started again. New generation dont know about Pendragon first until Teemo incident is come.
Oh, most interesting part is there is ads on sites that advertising LoL with something like this
I mean, come on. Riot is trying so hard to erase dota yet they still make fun of it.
BTW, Pendragon now is working on Riot as community manager and many of our heroes is literally plagiarized by them and their chief designer morello is saying something like this "snow originality as long this is good for us"
well...something like that. my masterrace blood is boiling right now
TLDR: Basically RitoPendragon, Rito's current community manager, former admin at dotaalstars.com and friend of IceFrog, shut the website and forum down and ripped off from the ideas there giving no credit in return and encouraging the dota fanbase to switch to LoL.
So biatches pls.. I would NEVER play LoL considering its history of plagiarizing and backstabbing, considering how I was there at the time living all these things, wondering why DotA stopped being called All Stars at some point. It's because LoL tried its damnest to screw DotA out of spite and it still does given recent events. I'm just so glad DotA 2 came along and then Reborn. Praise GabeN for having the insight to see the potential in IceFrog's mod and ideas. The Moba world was restored or maybe even saved that day.

Sure, it's always been "obvious" that HoN and LoL ripped off DotA big time (at least HoN's more honest about it). But from hearsay and a direct connection there's a world of difference. Even the League people are getting brighter at the reality of it - Link.

Maybe once upon a time, but early League characters were unintuitive as ****, I mean the same basic thing for every hero, q is your dmg, w your shield/extra nonspam dmg and e mobility/utility.
The champions in the last 3-4 years have been amazing in terms of development and depth of their character and kit, so doesn't matter what got ripped off when and by whom 6/7 years ago.

Taric is a prime example...
Man, I'm loving Taliyah so far. I don't think her skillset is even possible in DOTA or HotS. so much fun and intuitive and that's not even getting into her superb character and visual design (though I'm not sure the wing-like robes are the best fit...)

Nah man, it totally matters. Under no circumstance it shouldn't, that kind of bad practice should never be condoned, just flagged as soon as it's spotted. Devs can play nice and have their own Moba games and duke it out on the market with wit and creatity, not relying on sleazy behavior and cloak and dagger snow.

I'm really liking Aurelion, was going to avoid him at first cause the passive and W seemed to be rather 'boring'/dull, but now that I tried him my god the things you can do are insane, plus his looks and effects are absolutely sublime. If you've played Dark souls 3 he totally reminds me of my nemesis the Dancer of the Boreal Valley.
Taliyah, she seemed really so-so at first, but that ult's playmaking potential as well as her raw/sustained/poke damage is just insane. Fighting stuff like fizz is still literally cancer tho, but I could go toe to toe with one at plat as Tal and I've only had a few games with her. (really interested in trying out more Aurelion tho, just can't really practice, as in normals I get silvers/bronzes mixed in and you can't get much reliable feedback from games like that, and ranking till I mastered him is silly).
As for you Stevie, doesn't really matter now, the game's developed lightyears from its roots, whole different game now in quite a lot of ways. I mean most champions undergo a year (or years in the case of Aurelion and Jhin for instance) of development time, they're super refreshing and exciting and most of all UNIQUE. Loving the champion design, and it's hard to think why anyone would argue that champs with so much development time and constant revamping during their development cycle are plagiarised. And if not and the practice ended years ago then what's the issue? LoL is it's own creature now, no reason to bash the beauty it has grown into just cause of wild rumors about its roots.

Some of your champions are complete rip offs of DotA ideas. Some of your employees put DotA under their boot and made our life hard. So convenient to now ask to put things behind, ain't it? It's true that the hate has subsided for the most part, but that doesn't mean I'll ever forget.

I really dont care who ripped who off, clearly the game that can incorporate and present the champions better deserve to have them rlly.
