You know all the first few screenshots of the game that we saw was Svetlana cruising through on the beach and lush area and then to mother Namtaru underground.....this is the exclusive unique map that is only going to be part of the Collector's Edition, and not part of the normal campaign.

Sorry for bumping a topic that has been dead for over a month now, but I'd like some clarity here. Especially since they announced the game is getting delayed back to september 8th.
There's the youtube movie that shows a *physical* package (that includes a Ring and a T-Shirt for instance). Yet, when I try to follow the link to the store to pre-order it, I can see that the link follows through to the en_Gb version of the Ubisoft shop site. But as soon as I click it, I end up in the Dutch version (as I happen to live in the Netherlands) of the shop, which only offers a digital downloadable version.
When checking the Amazon site, I see that the co.uk one only has the standard version for sale, while there is a CE for sale through the German site. The Dutch site bol.com also only seems to have the standard edition for sale, although they do feature a special pre-order package deal.
Does this mean that I can't get a physical hardcopy of the Collector's Edition? I've started making a habit of buying CE's of game series that I really like, and HoMM is one of them. I'm already miffed that it's through Steam, but not being able to acquire a hardcopy of the CE version would be downright irritating.
Also, does anyone have any information on the Artifacts that you get with the pre-order? Or the Heroes, how do they enter the game? Can you choose them, or recruit them?

The artifacts seem to be tied to your account, so each hero can use them (but of course you have to pass it from one hero to another within a game). Not sure about the heroes.
As for the physical copy, try some local online stores. Many of them offer physical copies of the Collector's Edition, but usually they don't offer the pre-order bonus, so you have to choose.

That last one was actually a golden one! I feel stupid for not having thought about that one myself ... but as it turns out, two stores in the Netherlands actually offer it for sale.
For the Dutchies who are also looking to get a hardcopy of the CE version, try looking at either Dixons or the Free Record Shop. Both shops have an advertisement up for it.
