well since like 99% of the population (atleast in the country I live in, sweden) here seems to have a facebook account, it is very useful to see what old friends and family members have been up too

like I looked up classmates from the 1th-3rd grade in school and they were on facebook so I thought it was really fun to look up what they did today and how they look etc

facebook is also useful because you get to know a lot about people you dont usually meet irl

everybody who watches my facebook profile will know that I am into gaming and writing and that I really like Lady Gaga and The Big Bang Theory etc

When you watch Failbooks accounts,Mark Zuckeberg counts his money.

This guy hs only 23 years! And he's aleardy billonaire! Also,he was chosen as the most important man of 2010.

Facebook hasn't a so miracolous interface, but tons of people which haven't anyhting to do saturday nights, bring billions to Mark Zuckeberg.

Oh, speaking of baring souls on Facebook, the worst is when somebody ends a relationship, their status changes to "single", and then people actually comment on the Facebook news feed notification "what happened?". Honestly, some people are just clueless.

I've been fortunate enough to avoid being friends with people who bare their souls on FB often for the most part, but my sister hasn't, and I've seen firsthand just how bad it can get. FB is supposed to be a way to share photos, information, and stay in contact with friends, not call people out where hundreds of others can see.

What surprises me most on Facebook is the amount of people that talk **** about their colleagues and employers and stuff.

I mean... don't they value their jobs? That **** will reach them sooner or later, regardless of whether you're FB-friends with your boss or not.

Yes thats true you can be whoever you want to be on the internet. You could be pleasantly surprised or very disappointed. In someway though its not that different to a dating agency or any relationship you have to believe what the other person tells you.

It is directly related to the IQ of the mob rule.

"IQ of the mob is the IQ of it's stupidest member divided by the number of people."

Conclusion = internet IQ is pretty much zero and because you're part of that mob and incapable of independent thought you also have an IQ of about, zero.

Yes, this includes me on the net.
When I sign off, my IQ returns slowly back to the 150.

So Azagal and Swamplord, you think arguing on FB is sad? So what do you call arguing on a forum? At least on FB I actually know who I'm arguing with as in people I actually have met in real life.

Oh and if you (Swamp) think that was me being hostile well you've not seen anything yet.

Seriously the best thing about Facebook is the constant flow of news you gain access to.
And then I don't talk about all those times some of my friends goes to the pub and then share their delightful stories about regret and how bad they feel.
No I'm talking about all those things you can like

Normally I'm a oblivious person then doesn't really keep check of anything(except for all the games I'm obsessed with ofc.)
But with the use of Facebook, I as well as the rest of the world have a chance to keep track of things like Series, Movies and Programs and whatnot...
In that way and usage, Facebook truly is a blessing!

Arguments on FB don't influence my real life just like arguments on HC don't influence my real life.

It just seems that so many people like to discuss what's bad with FB and all but that applies here as well. Morons posting stupid *** here such as many of the OSM arguments and the majority of VW is just as bad as what's on FB. So really, you're only mentioning problems that are a part of here as well so how is it any different? At least the difference is is that I actually KNOW people on my FB and can talk with them on there if I'm unable to see them in person (they're busy or whatever) unlike on here when I know none of you on a personal level (except the rare few who I have talked to for years).

I dunno, just seems useless complaining when, like I said, the same *** happens here.

And call me crazy, but people calling out friends or (ex) boy/girlfriends they're having issues with over Facebook strikes me as rather crass; you're exposing personal and private issues (which are hardly small) to hundreds of people you don't even know that intimately.

Which can be abso-freaking HILARIOUS!
