Dark Magic level 4 spell
TOuch of Death (Turns target unit undead for the remaining time of the battle)
OR
Vampiric Touch (Turns target unit undead and gives it "life Drain" for the remaining time of the battle)
OR
?needs a name? (Damages an enemy unit on the base of the number and strength of all living units which have by now died in this battle)

Fine. a few more things about spells...
1. Dark Magic has 5 level 1 spells...shall we add one to each other school as well, so that for level 1 there are 5 L1 spells per school?
2. Shall there be spell research in mage guild? For explanation: If there is spell research, the mage guild will start, as usual, with some spells per level, but as time passes, new spells will also appear in the guild...Shall this be in?
Yes, and to an unlimited number of spells
OR
Yes, but only to a limited number of spells per guild
OR
Yes, but when having reached a certain number of spells, for each newly researched spell one spell must be deleted from the guild
OR
No
note: We'll do more specification on research if it is taken in...
3. What about the number of spells appearing in a mage guild at a level? shall it be...
Completely random (in a level-specific range, though!)
OR
Random, but with the rule that higher levels may not have more spells than a level below
OR
Determined by in which town the mage guild is (faction-based, so)
OR
Be definite, so each mage guild gets the same number of spells on the same level (like it is in all former HoMMs, i think^^)
4. And for spell schools and mage guilds in certain towns...shall
any spell be able to appear in a mage guild in any town (=completely random choice of spells of the certain level)

any spell be able to appear in any mage guild in any town, but some be more probable

...do you understand what I mean by this, btw? It is about which spells can appear in the mage guild of which faction...if there are differences, and which...

May I add an addition to that?
If so, that "1 obligatory school" can be different from faction to faction, for some factions it might even be 2 schools, or some don't even have this making it completely random...

1 of the favoured (or one of the favoured) schools and 1 random.
Aye sorry about that, I was actually thinking it was better to start in reverse and work "down" the mage guild rather then "up"
So if possible I'd like to say 2 spells for level 4, for the reason I mentioned.
I think that the top level is the most important part of this cascade because people are likely to decide the bottom layer numbers by working out the whole mage guild in their heads first to come out at the top layer number.

@mr. dragon: I said the questions shall be answered IN ORDER...but both of us did not think properly, anyway...there are no level 5 spells^^
