So I just found this place, but I've been thinking of a version of Heroes, much like Heroes 3, and I've made a whole bunch of factions and creatures, stats, abilities, spells. Everyone that's contributed here (page 224) seems to have put a lot of good work in too. I haven't worked on other game mechanics though.
There is too much for me to read at the moment.
I had a dream I won the lottery and hired a group of people to make a Heroes game to my specs.

Hi ChaosHighdra. it's always good to see new faces on the altar. Do you want to participate in the game? If so, welcome to our happy company! =) We're quite far now, but it is still much and much to decide!!!
If you want to post your own HoMM vision, I advise you to open an own thread for it. 
@avi: was that with the bandages a joke or serious?^^
Anyway. First Unit look summary for now 
Maceman:
Their skin is mid-european colour and their eyes blue. Besides their armour, they also have cloth parts. They wear hard leather armour They wear no helmet but bloodied bandages around the head. (?) The Mace has an iron shaft and a steel head.

Just for clarifiation-do I have to change my answer to the 3 of them(trousers+cloak+sleeves)?Because I left the sleeves out
