@gnomes: I still see that VERY difficult, especially since their home terrain (tropical/jungle) is rather bound to nuktor's south, except of islands^^ but if it's truely your wish 
now for upgrades...
We have alternate upgrades... and that leeds to a question discussed in the altar a short time ago: Shall we have big groups of uograde alternatives, so for each faction, one half of the upgrades follows one theme, the other half another theme? (simple examples would be "Offense/Defense" or "Might/Magic". Or should each creature just have two alternatives, independend from the alternatives the other creatures of the faction?
Upgrade groups for all factions!
OR
upgrade groups with exceptions (=most creatures follow the division into the group, but 1-3 do not) for all factions
OR
No upgrade groups for any faction
OR
Decide individually for each faction

When I say "suggest" I want you to give name and looks and maybe main characteristics...no abilities now!
1. Which of these shall be Maceman upgrade?
Crusher/Infantry/Frontman/Footman/Squire (Armed with a morning star, possibly offensive abilities)
OR
Infantry/Shieldman/better name (Still got a mace, also a shield)
OR
^^name needed (Armed with a big two-handed Mace)
OR
Heavy Infantry (weapon is differable. Heavy Armoured)
2. Suggest the second Maceman upgrade.
3. Which shall be Bowman Upgrade
Crossbowman (armed with a Crossbow)

Ranger (good in ranged and melee combat [we got no elven archers, so...])

A great Trained, possibly also good-armed Griffin

Sauce, it was just what I could think of quickly. The Balcans have Albania, too, all of the former Yugoslavia... Greece's pretty close but not a part of it, I think. Basically that southeastern part of Europe.
Germany, France, Spain... Magis has no equivalent of Italy, so yeah. Those three are what is in western Europe, mostly...
There's also Scandinavia with Noway and Sweden mostly, but we haven't decided on any races living there.
