What should be the character/style of them?
Knwoledge-seekers (the typical allways-studying mages)
OR
Knowledge-keepers (conservation of knowledge is more important than learning. THey got ancient wisdome, old spells, but not really using it to gain power nor expanding their knowledge)
OR
Power-Seekers (Using the magic directly, primarily and openly to be powerfull and mighty in the world
OR
Power-Sharers/Helpers (Altruistism-believers, using their powers for the benefit of others)
