I think he's already adressed that issue. Claiming that carnivores can't digest non-meat.
I don't know if his claim is true and I honestly don't care. The solution is really not to use force. Forcing people to stop eating meat. Or forcing people to stop killing.
Rather develop sufficient technology, so you can kill, without anything dies.
Or in this specific scenario, be able to create food from its basic components rather than having to destroy something alive to gain food.
Notice I said food, not meat.
Also, I'd like to add. Even if you can communicate with plants, what would they know about themselves? I mean, I have barely any idea of what's going on inside my body right now or how I work.

Oh. I thought you just had a problem with those who put animals through severe suffering before they are killed.
So all acts of killing animals for food is abuse to you?
Then I just say I disagree with your definition of abuse.
The meat I eat comes from moose killed in hunt, shot in the wild. No cages, no great factories, no special food for the animals, just a peaceful life in the woods ended through a sudden bullet.
I see absolutely no abuse in it.
Sure I could live on vegetables, but I don't find that as tasty as meat. That combined with that I know that the animals are treated well before they are killed is enough justification for me to enjoy meat thoroughly.
I do enjoy other types of meat as well of course, but I do not think that any of the slaughterhouses these come from are close to the enviroments seen in the extreme vids.

Be careful what you say... that comes awefully close to what the Nazis were saying at that time too. Listen there is no use in discussion the issue with you since you seem rather stuck in your morale highground and feeling of superiority (entirely unjustified of course but that can conviniently be shut out) but do yourself and your people a favour and be civil in your behaviour. Close friends of mine a vegetarian and you can have the most civil and interesting discussion with them about their views. That's how you get people to listen not by shoving in their face how blissfully ignorant "dirty meatbags" they are and what kind of superhuman vegans are.
On that note the Vegetarians that claim their morale highground on the basis of "not murdering" are hypocrites as Bak pointed out. Simply because plants don't scream or suffer in a way you perceive doesn't mean they don't. Did you for example know that there are plants that when "attacked" by a caterpillar the secrete a pheromone that attracts birds? That implicates that they can feel when they're attacked and actually "scream" for help.
Or that some plants can actually communicate with others of their kind in close proximity via pheromones? Just because you can't hear them suffer doesn't mean they don't.

I remember when I knew everything better than everyone else, Skrentyz, though that phase was far behind me by the time I was 16. And I was more sensible even during it.
Anyhow, I know it's cool to not care, but I'll leave this useful info here anyway. Maybe you decide to go through it once it occurs to you that ethics might be a bit more complicated than vegetarianism.
Now for a bit of friendly advice.
Arrogance can not hide ignorance, lad. It can only make people tell you to go **** yourself instead of bothering to explain their views so you can actually learn something from the discussion. The sooner you understand that, the more of an actually ethical person you're going to become.
So, until then, go **** yourself.

If I were a pig or cow, I'd be really grateful for humans and their society that designed a way to kill me without pain and suffering (which happens most of the time nowadays) instead of waiting for a wolf to tear me apart and eat raw parts of me while I still live and struggle. Animals are such barbarians.

Baklava, I don't care what you were at the age of 16, and if I didn't place my age on my profile you first, wouldn't suspect I was a teenager, and second, wouldn't pathetically use it as an argument or way of minimizing my statement's importance and even more seriousness.
Animal slaughter isn't a subject to be discussed, but something to be exterminated, although unfortunately never will. For the time being, answer this question: "How is killing an animal morally right, while killing the worst animal ever, human, morally wrong?"
For now, all of you can go "**** yourself", as Baklava suggested such a phrase, and I'm done with this forum for now.
