Can someone please explain the deal with the Beta, Will you only gain access to it if you pre-order from the Ubisoft store or some crap like that?
I want Beta and the CE but I don't want to be forces to pre-order from Their site.

Does anyone know if they are going to ship the game to Brazil? I´ve noticed that Brazil is not listed on the "payment info" country list.
I was thinking on ordering it through paypal but I´m afraid of losing my money if they can´t ship the game to Brazil...
Any ideas?

i think that any site associated with ubi will give beta keys.i preordered like 6 days ago and hope i ll get a beta

I'll pre-order, but I'm waiting for it to be offered on Steam. On Facebook they said it would be on Steam "soon." If they don't offer beta keys through Steam I may just go through their site.

I just preordered the (physical) collectors edition. Which is said to give me access to beta but I haven't gotten anything yet.
Now I feel I should share a few things:
1. Link to preordering: Collectors unveiled(at the end of the video, there's an annotation leading to Ubisofts page where you can preorder).
2. It is said that my game delivery will be delayed (since it is preorder) up until May 23rd.
3. Preordering this collectors edition will give Beta access. (I haven't seen it yet, but it is supposed to and is described in the order)

I'm definitely not going to preorder a game when I don't know anything about its system requirements.
In other words: until Ubisoft tells me whether or not I can play the game on OS X, I'll be keeping my money, thank you very much.

Hmm, I think i read somewhere (i think it was xhane's response on twitter) that there won't be Mac version, at least not at original release. Not 100% on it but quite likely.

I beta-tested Heroes V back in late '05 or so, I guess I have to keep with tradition... but only if I can do it through GameStop. Can't be arsed to do it online.

Link's apparently broken for the US, I'm hoping it's a bug because I honestly can't see why they wouldn't offer it here. :\

From what I've seen of the game so far, I've already decided that I have to give it an honest try. Might as well get the extra content and beta fun while I'm at it. Preordered the digital version.
I love digital media distribution and I'm much less likely to buy something without a digital distribution these days. I don't like to fill my house with uneccesary junk like obsolete CDs and such. All my physical music, movies, games etc have all long since been given to charity and replaced with digital versions.
I can understand everyone else avoiding it though, the Ubi digital distribution leaves a lot to be desired. Hiding the downloads in with the order so you have to hunt for order numbers? An expiration date on when you can download the file? I kind of expect better from a major game company these days.

Ok, so I'm starting to have doubts of wether to buy the collectors or the deluxe edition.
Since I'm not likely to wear the shirt and have quite stubby fingers, so the ring is likely not to fit.
I currently cannot link to the ubi-store and get the collectors edition. And i wanna get the preorder bonus and I'm not sure how long that it's gonna last.
What do you guys 'n gals think?

Forgive my ignorance here but what's the difference exactly? Considering prices, content, discounts etc. If you cannot make up your mind just yet I'd say you can wait a bit longer, would make no sense for ubi to remove bonuses right away.

Other than the T-shirt and the Ring, the difference 'tween the collector's and deluxe, is that the deluxe is entirely digital.

Personally I prefer the content to be tangible, open the box, turn the artwork pages.. It's no fun if the artwork isn't on paper.
But then I'm the kind of guy that would rather wait and go pick up the game on the nearest store the day it was available, don't like preordering
