Questions to Julien/Marzhin
According to Cepheus news that we can get our interview from Marzhin I made this thread because is so easy to compile the list of questions. Here are my questions:
(1) – Will there buildings on adventure map that boost hero’s ability points or hero gets a point only when advances a level?
(2) – The hero can respecs his abilities when reaches 20th level. Does he lose some ability points when respecs abilities? And if the answer is “yes”, how much?
(3) – Will be excludes some magic school(s) for some factions? For example on a screenshot Slava doesn’t have Dark, Water and Air magic schools. Is it only for Slava or for Haven might heroes or for whole Haven faction?
(4) – You told that when the player constructs buildings in the city, they will appear on the adventure map’s cities. So, will appear all buildings or some?
(5) – Approximately how many buildings (except the upgrades) we can construct in the cities?
(6) – Are the Water elementals and Spring Spirits/Mizu-Kami similar? Actually do the Water elementals exist in the game?
(7) – Are the neutrals related (benevolent) to some factions. For example Light elementals to Haven, Fire elementals to Inferno, if there are Water elementals to Sanctuary and etc.
(8) – When will we get more information about the neutral creatures/bosses (ability’s descriptions, artworks, 3D models), racial abilities, might abilities, spells, etc?
Please excuse me if I make some grammatical mistakes! I hope you’ll understand what I meant.
@ Cepheus, when you finish the list I would to know which community’s questions are picked (if it's possible). I don’t want Julien/Marzhin personal questions like previous interview. Of course that’s my opinion.
If I have some other questions I'll post 'em.

Here are the questions so far posted in the Altar thread:
Do towns retain any structures when they are converted between factions? How is this determined?
Is there a neutral water elemental that is pretty much the same as the the River Spirit or is there another explanation?
Are mass spells still generally overpowered, or have they been toned down?
Can you explain the Sanctuary racial specialty/ability in greater detail?
Are there any spells, abilities, or artifacts that use different mechanics than what we've seen in previous Heroes games? Can you give us any details?
How will the beta be unlocked? I purchased my copy through Steam. Will it simply be available for download through Steam when the beta is ready?
Can you reveal any more unique buildings?
How many buildings are available to build per town?
Do the castle upgrades still increase creature growth?
Can you give us some examples of how different moats work?
Can units get onto and off of castle towers after battle has begun?
Are town portal structures expensive or high in the tech tree? Does it cost anything to use them?
Do the arrows icons on top of mines and dwellings point to the nearest control point? Can the enemy see your arrows?
One of the big improvements in Heroes VI is that skills are no longer random so you can plan your leveling a great deal more accurately than in Heroes 5. So what made you incorporate the respecing feature and how will you prevent it from simply being a free mentor visit that rewards people who were sloppy in their leveling thus destroying the advantage players gained by leveling up with greater care?
Questions
Q1 Heroes 5 had 8 unique Heroes per faction each with a personal Specialzation discouting the campaign or scenario Heroes. While the Herospecials were a welcome difference between the Heroes in theory in practice some specials were far superior to others which lead to them rendering the others useless (example: Ylthin and Wyngal >>> any other Sylvan Hero except Findan). How many Heroes can we exspect to see for each faction in Heroes VI and what will you do to make the specials balance out a bit better (no offense).
Q1.5 Could you give us an example for an Heroes VI Herospecial?
Q2 In Heroes 5 similar to the Herospecials some Heroes had starting abilities which made them powerhouses due to their rariety for the faction like Razzak starting with Defense or Erling with Sorcery. Since the Ability system is now different how did that affect the starting abilities from the Heroes in Heroes VI?
Q3 We were promised more customizeability in Heroes VI does that extend into the Heroes we play outside the campaign in normal goes?
Q4 So far the website only tells us that there will again be 3 different types of artifacts but this time there will be a ton of items in general. In Heroes 5 the relics were very powerful being able to replace or negate the effect of 4 (!!!) skillpoints ( I'm looking at you Cloack of Deaths Shadow and Lion Crown) not to mention that some set bonus where hideously overpowered extremely powerful (Power of the Dragons springs to mind or the bonus from Sar Issus for wizards was so good even Razzak would start touching himself...) what did you do to improve the balance of items and their set boni?
Q5 With the huge number of items comes the possibility of items that are very similar and offer little in form of improvement compared to the other. What have you done to keep the number of artifacts high but still make them diverse enough to warrant different choices for different situations? Are there forexample artifacts that only boost Core units?
Q6 In Heroes 5 some Artifacts had faction specific boni which were absolutely great immersionwise but could prove to provide onesided advantages for players who were a bit "luckier" when they raided Utopias. Have you kept the unique faction boni and if yes have you changed how they work?
-Since there are so many artifacts do they affect new things that we've not seen before, if so can we get some examples?
-Are spell-scrolls counted as artifacts, and if so how many of them are there?
-Will the rewards for map objectives be better than in H5, where they mostly were not worth the effort? (For instance trading a good artifact for some creatures. Okey, they might cost the same, but what about all the turns I've used to find the artie and bring it back and forth?!)
-Are there remaining new features that have not yet been revealed, and if so what are they? (not revealing what it is, but saying it has something to do with new map objects for instance)
-Is it possible to get new skillpoints without reputation (i.e. non-random witch huts)?
-Can we get some examples of new skills and/or spells?
-How long after game release can we expect a patch, and what changes can be made in a patch (town full-screens or only minor balancing issues)?
-Also, repeating the question regarding respec; is it free?
Since your main area is maps, can you give us an overview, with examples if you can, about the improvements and new features of the Map Editor?
Can we expect an easy way of including our own creatures (and if you allow me to dream, maybe not that easily, factions too) built within the release game or, at least, as a future goal?
How mod capable will Heroes VI be?
Will we be able to mod existing statistics? Add new creatures? Add new factions (or mix and match existing creatures to form our own factions)? Add new skills? Add new heroes? Edit existing models?
Will the campaign editor allow us to add scripted events? If so, how advanced/complex can we get with these?
Can we create a custom soundtrack for use in mods? For instance, can we create our own faction specific town and battle music?
Only question I have is when will they release an RMG, and will it have more features than Heroes 5 RMG and the ability to save option templates?

You always stress how you're all fans of the series but understandably not everyone can be so hardcore about the Heroes genre as you has your passion for the game ever made teamwork harder with people who are perhaps a little less enthusiastic? Is it easy to get carried away?

Q1. Will the Respec and Town Portal features also be deactivable?
Q2. About the pre-ordering and the collector in-game presents (heroes, artifacts), will they be allowed in multiplayer ?
Q3. In the CH Q&A, you said that if we deactivated the Area of Controls the external dwellings would not work. What do you mean by not work ? Not work at all ???
Q4. How many buildings will there be per town ?
Q5. Can you tell us more about "evolving" artifacts ? Are there other such artifacts than the 2 collector items ?
Q5. How exactly do each racials work ? What are their effects ? How does the gauge fill up ? How "fast" does it fill up ?

Q1. is there any hope that town screens will be changed. if not full screen , then at least bigger size of the window...
Q2. how is the storyline comparing to previous HoMM games (i am sure it's better then HoMM5, but will it be able to gain same level as HoMM4 for example?)
Q3. duel modes? will we have them
Q4. how will battlefield change during fight.. tell us more please..?
Q5. will we get another "New" faction in expansions..? (too early to ask??)

Some questions that I have would probably not get an answer so I think I will go whit some that don't revel to much but non the less interest me:

In one of the earlier Q&A it's been said that are 8 Bosses are all related to the factions present in vanilla and possible add on or there are neutral ones, and if you could tell us if is each faction has 1 and are 3 left or 1 for each current faction and one from a possible faction (chuff Black Dragon chuff) in a add and the rest neutral (as in not related to any faction) ?

hmmm,
1. Can bosses spawn again?
2. Is the ultimate artifact still only implementable in Town (like HOMM III and V, never plays IV)? Not various ultimate artifact like HOMM II?
3. If you level up/respec, can you adjust your stat points too (Attack, Defense, Spell Power, etc)?
4. Can you set up the game with Hard AI Difficulty but with normal resources? I hate being poor!
5. If creatures can only act once in a round, how Wait command will work? Like HOMM III?
That's for now, maybe I'll add some later.

1. How will the extra content from collectors edition/preordering work?
2. Why the fixed town window size? Can it be turned into a fullscreen/"playscreen" window?
3. And: Since spells are no longer gained in the traditional way and with the new creature tier/pool system, how would specialities work?

In Q&A #2 Marzhin defined the bosses like "uber neutral creatures". That's why the common neutrals and the bosses will share same page on the official site. There will 8 neutrals and 8 bosses.

Yes, I'm sorry it's been so long. It will be done this week. After ag.ru and Alderbranch were also queued up for Q&As, we were looking for clarity as to whether or not anyone else was waiting for answers so that our questions wouldn't overlap.

Can we please not waste any questions on "when will X be X?" stuff, if they were at liberty to say or knew at all we would already know. Plus it's not nearly as interesting as actual information about the game. Thanks
