Is white the new black?
Harvard/Tufts study shows that white males feel they are the most discriminated-against racial-ethnic group in the US.

So, white males, do you feel discriminated? Are whites really at a disadvantage? Or is it just "racism-fatigue that makes us feel that way?"

Of course they are these days.
In the 70's racism has gotten better, but the blondes has still gotten the breaks & the white people in the stereo type in jobs,movies, living arrangements etc. Everyone was testing the waters.
Women were proposing more, Women are starting to show even more equal rights. The drugs & showing what they can do.
Latinos, Brothas & other races that are not white spoke out about whites getting the breaks.
The 80's had some racism, but it was a goofy time.
White people still had the advantage, but it has gotten better.
Brothas were fighting the power & we was enjoying it.
Even still, Latinos, Brothas & other non white color race Spoke out.
90's I think was the best time, it was close to equal times.
Alot of rap too, but everyone had equal jobs, Women had more rights.
It was a time where we was not in debt.Many criticize Clinton, but he was a good president. Regardless of who gave him the job 
STILL Latinos,Brothas & other races complained about whites.
2000-2010 has shown that the other races has been getting more of the breaks. More jobs, More opportunities as well. Alot of racism is showing & alot of people dont get over the past.
Still got Brothas fighting the power, even though racist should of died since the 80's. I mean are people still doing that lol?
Alot of Latinos, brothas, Asians are getting more jobs then whites in comparison to the last eras.
Nowadays the whites are the minorities & alot of non caucasians complained enough about blondes, blue eyes & whites enough & still do to this day to make them a minority these days.
They are looked under.

We should of stuck in the 90's, from early to mid 90's.
Those were they rare equal years IN THE MOST PART.

Trouble is that when black people do something to whites it's not called racism, when white people do things to blacks then it's racism. Because of the past we're not allowed to pull the "racism"-card the way they do.

A female or other "minority" (not white male) can easily claim discrimination so companies are often afraid to lay them off or fire them. When the company must cut its payroll it is the white male who must often go to save the company legal headaches. That is why so many men lost their jobs during the economic downturn while women were much less affected.
And of course one party and its liberal judges favor affirmitive discrimination that gives people extra points on tests for promotion/hiring for not being a white male. Judges will throw out promotions if "too many whites" were promoted no matter if they scored the highest on the exams.
Grants and scholarships can be designated to go to "minorities" but not to white males.

edit: apologise to everyone for the cheap shot, I'm sure that elodin is just as capable of hatred as the rest of the human race. especially towards the welsh, who are all snows and deserving of our wrath.

Yes, atleast in Sweden white people often get discrimimated by immigrants.
This is mostly true for children in the schools, who have grown up with the failed multiculturalism due to non-existant and poor assimilation laws coupled with an extreme immigration (one city in sweden has more iraqi immigrants than the entire US)

There are two parts to this equation.
Part I :
As I call it the psychological approach (or whichever name you see fit), just a selected few amongst us humans reach that level of a “higher understanding” at which point we are capable of seeing and understanding it all, the rest of us with functioning brains who have also reached the maturity limit (as I call it) which is the mere understanding that we keep evolving and that we have so much more to learn, the same understanding that eventually when it’s all said and done we will still never understand many aspects of life to their fullest extent. The rest of the world (because of immaturity or brain capacity) remains within that box, which is the narrow minded way of thinking, the same way of thinking which makes us unaware, incapable of understanding the other side – If you are wondering what I’m talking about it’s simple – white males will never fully understand what it means to be a minority because they have never really been a minority, in a same manner males will never understand what it means to be a woman, we are incapable of those things, some of us incapable of fully understanding it, others incapable of even scratching the surface.
Result – white males indeed feel like they are becoming the new blacks because :
a. They are incapable of fully understanding the concept of being a minority.
b. They got used to a certain social order, as soon as that order goes through slight change (and yes it is a slight change considering racism is still alive and kicking) their sense of fairness gets shaken.
Part II :
The science meets history approach – the obvious recessive gene reasoning along with the social construct in the western world will indeed lead the white race to the point at which they will become the minority.
I’m pretty certain I don’t have to elaborate on the topic of recessive genes (If you don’t know what it means use google), regarding the social construct, well, the western world chooses the higher moral ground, its nobility as well as arrogance will be the end of it, in a battle of races just like any other battle it’s the survival of the fittest and not of the noble ones, history has taught us pretty well that the noble approach is doomed to fail.
Result – white males will indeed become the minority in the future however that day is still not here.
What is my personal opinion ?
Well, the fact that white males feel like a minority is ridiculous, the fact that in the future we will probably become the minority is a bit sad to me and not because of racial issues but because I don’t like stupidity, arrogance and nobility in the western world are equal to stupidity IMO, me however won’t live to see that day nor do I really care about anybody’s color or religion so I’m not really concerned by this matter.

yeah, ok, that was cheap.
on a more serious side, no, just because there is positive discrimination amongst some people does not mean that white people have suddenly lost their position of power. white people, as a group, are still in the vast majority of executives, politicians, billionaries, royalty and so on in the western world. relax, my fellow crackers, we've not been ousted from our Ill-gotten position just yet.

Paradoxically, there exists a lot more racism towards white people in big cities of countries like the USA and UK. In London, for instance, there are places/districts where a white person is very likely to get discriminated and violated by black gangs for just entering. I'm actually sick of the whole concept of "opressed black minorities", which of course existed in the old times, but nowadays it's ridiculous to state that, and even mathematically incorrect as in many big cities of the Western World black people are actually the majority.
A quite relevant example of faulty psychological attitudes that are commonly conveyed in media and schools:
Cee lo Green
Everyone's black in this video and it's OK, but if a music video or even an illustrated school textbook didn't contain at least 50% of black people, it would be condemned for racist or ignorant.
I have nothing against black people (if someone would actually have doubts), but this is unfairness in the opposite direction.

Well I feel the answer is a fairly obvious yes, though in spite of it I'm still loving the living **** out of my life circumstances.
If you're part of a well-off demographic, people will hate you, and there's very little you can do about it other than to either concede to unreasonable expectations, or to learn to adopt the adage of "Haters gonna hate". Lingering bitterness toward whites will and has grown weaker as old generations die and new generations sprout, but these things take time. At the end of the day, I'm a physically and financially healthy white male American, I'm absolutely ****ing loving every second of it, and there's nothing anybody can do about it other than to throw harmless words at me  (I mean I suppose it's possible people will do something tangible to me, but it's severely unlikely to ever happen.)
If you want an even more radical example, just look at Jews or people of Jewish background. They're rich, they're successful, they're excellently educated. In short: they're kicking ***. To this day, there's a lot of people in Europe and the M.E. that think Jews are responsible for so much of the world's problems. People are psychologically driven to point to people superior to them and blame them for their problems because it's a cop out from having to submit to the reality that they themselves suck.

Yes, there is racism againts white people. In CZE we have mainly problems with some people. They are racist to us and do a lot of other bad things.

this is the contrary in france. though, I don't know if the minorities are as bad as they are described. whatever the group, there will always be a few to cause troubles.

I don't know if that's all true, but considering that I heard there are laws for positive discrimination, it sounds likely. don't they get some financial help when they hire a certain quotas of black or handicaped people for example?
