I first played HoMM on a Macintosh powerpc. It was in a game bundle I bought when I was probably like 11-12. I loved it so I got Heroes 2 eventually, but the old mac couldn't run it!

First played Might and Magic when I was 20 or 21. Picked up Heroes of Might and Magic 1 when it came out; I was around 25 then.

4 and a half years old here!
The first thing I thought was what a rubbish game it is, when I saw those goblins on a battlefield. But when I started playing then I got hooked...

I was about 6 or 7 when I first time played HOMM 3, on a creepy Windows 98 of my grandparents. I was always playing the same map, All for One, and never got too far from beginning. At the time, I also made a list of creatures (it looked terrible and was full of mistakes like: because wights are found in a shipwreck, I wrote they were called swirepick (I've read it incorrectly, english is not my first language)) and a comic. Because behemots looked the most scary and dangerous creature to me, a behemoth was the villian. Because of that, one of positive things I see in HOMM3 is nostalgy. I got the game four years later on my computer (a better one), and then I finished All for One, finally.

I remember i mostly played All for one myself when i was little, was my favorite map at that time i didnt have the exspansions.
And that list thing was funny. But i never found that Ancient behemoths was scary, well not by looks but i did find them scary when i fought them, them and all of the other level 7 creatures.
Even if i had tons of soldiers compare to the level 7 creature i fought when i was little it was still scary since they are STRONG!!! Well i my eyes at the time of course.
They still is of course but when you are a kid playing heroes of might and magic 3 and you find several arch devils and you outnumbers them you still going to hesitate.
