I thought it also another good idea if in this thread we discuss our views on how best to play our characters and how to set out party roles, strategies i.e. my version of the perfect party is:-
2 x DPS/melee (Barbarian/Fighter/Paladin/Ranger/Sorceror)
1 x Intimitank (Paladin .... whoever has the best Intimidate/CHA)
1 x Trap diffuser (Rogue)
1 x Healer (Cleric or Favored Soul)
1 x Arcane Caster - whether you want Crowd Control(Wizard) or ranged DPS (Sorceror)
That's pretty much it. Now as we know Mac has a couple of splashes of rogue to his wizard and as soon as he has his disable device high enough, he will be able to find and diffuse traps pretty efficiently. 
I guess so far Jaba is closer to our Intimitank, mainly because he's pure Paladin. But I'm going to check out his build and enhancements as I'm not familiar with the Paladin build.

I think so too, as my Flame of Justice gives bonus to intimidate. However I will make some changes to my enchantments, as I have a lot of stuff that I ain't use use much, and I need to get more toughness and stuff.
I as usual haven't looked it to it much, but I will. But please feel free to give me ideas of what enchantments and things like that that I can get.

I'm actually looking into it now Jaba. If you do get a chance you can check out the DDO wiki which will help. I'm going to create a Paladin, purely to check out what is needed 
I think all you want to be is Stalwart Defender.

Haha yeah, but Defender of Siberys sounds interesting, I will look it up tonight and possibly re-design my char.
Ah I love RPG's, my characters never turn out the way I imagine them. I wanted to go for heavy offense, but now it will be heavy defense instead.
Guess that works fine, and Blizz will stand for the Damage instead.
Anyways, I will take care of it later, gtg now...

Any of the Paly prestiges could work for you. Defender of Siberys gives bonuses related to you shield, among other things, so if you wanted to get an extra edge with tanking you would go for that. You can check out the 3 prestiges on DDO wiki, or even in game if you click on the 'Show Unavailable' button when looking at your enhancements at the trainer.
Personally, I think Selnoria should continue to be the party tank.

With intimitank as long as you've also built up your Intimidate skill and have a high AC, you're pretty much there.
You're going to need to get either these as a Feat:- Combat Expertise, Diehard, Shield Mastery, Tower Shield Proficiency.
And you will need all of these:- Paladin Armor Class Boost I, Paladin Bulwark of Good I, Paladin Courage of Good I, Paladin Focus of Good I, Paladin Resistance of Good I
You need to have these by level 6.
EDIT: Having a true Intimitank in the party is a godsend. You're be a hero Jaba lol. It enables the rest of the party to literally pick off the enemy and gives the rogue time to get in its sneak attack. Intimitanks used to be pretty awesome before Update 9, when Turbine totally f**cked it up. Now you have also generate 'Hate'.

Well did a few hours questing with Gnomsey tonight .. first time I've quested with Gnomes so it was nice. Just *tuts* that he's another one without a mic!!!! Guys this is not on!!!
Anyhoo our pug group wasn't too bad. A couple of pikers and a zerging cleric/fighter gimp who basically ran off and left everyone else to die t
But such is the ddo world. We just need Forfy back!!
