The whole argue started when Vade Parvis - as I understand - was angry because he thought criticizing droids on AC was some kind of "planned action" which "VCMI Forge Team" has arranged. That is not true at all, though I think it was just a misunderstanding.

Seems like not all HOTA members understand this. On HOTA side there is a lot of people working on mod.
And on other side there are new towns by enthusiasts. They simply have no crew, no time and no skills to make mods perfect from scratch.
I hope I explained this idea to Hobbit, but I couldn't explain this to HOTA opponents.
These towns are also a miracle, that they have even emerged in any kind. And for true HMM3 fans any expansion is great.
I know there are some maximalists and HOTA members saying "i'll play Cove, all other towns are crap". This is not respectful approach.

Yeah, you explained this idea, but I don't get it anyway. Quality of any kind of work stands for itself, saying that you are less talented isn't any kind of excuse.

If that was true, then HotA wouldn't be so popular.

You see, on Acid Cave e.g. the most often downloaded files are WoG-related (pure WoG, Script Updates and PL translation). On the second place - HotA 1.2. Third is New Upgrades (on WoG), fourth - Grove Town on ERA.

Quality (and, of course, how much does such mod add to the game) matters a lot for most of players.

Well, if something is crap, there is no reason to respect it, tolerate it is already much. The excuse "no time, we are only fans" is not going to hypnotize people so suddenly they will like. I find realistic that HoTA may find other towns crap, seeing how far they pushed the creativity. Personally I like also the polish Grove (except some mobs animations which are so and so but hey, it was the first).

Also is a pity Bastion wasn't done, as personally I find it even more beautiful than HoTA, at least the dwellings, didn't see much the creatures.

This forum users have enough experience to see when a project is long time prepared, polished, tested then released. They are also perfectly able to see when someone rushes projects just to reach some quota. If a project is sloppy, don't expect praise.

It is done, but team leader don't want to publish it. Because of the same situation - some people started to criticize project and demand "quality" and "originality", so he psyched and banned publishing.

I have other infos. Corwin started 10th town while Slava was still around, as he thought Slava will help coding. But Slava went away and Corwin had no clue how to erm code a 10th town alone. As work was too good to just replace a regular town, they gave up.

It's good that you reworked screen. So two different Forges can be made from your mod.

Altrough I don't like 7th level unit. Forge is a cybertechnologies, and mechanics.
And this is some biotechnology mutant. It don't fit to line-up. It's more fitting to some kreegan colony faction or mutant faction IMHO

PS So you rejected idea of 6th level unit strengthened to be 7th level?

I just ran Forge on current version of VCMI and noticed some bugs that you may want to fix:

1) Some old format that may be removed in next version - entries "buildings" and "structures" in town entry.

Yay, another successful mod !

Could somebody please share the patch notes ? Or the official notes ?
Or some pictures , please ?

NOTE: I am not lazy, I dont have VCMI (yet) and I just want to see what progress you guys made, how it looks and if it's made likable. By that I mean, Forge is edgy if it comes to Heroes 3. I know it fits the universe/culture of the sci-fi Kreegans, but I know you guys were making  really good job.

Congrats and wish you good luck in future !
