By Jir's permission (due to a busy time schedule), I will be running the side-contests for the time being.
I will not judge any of the contests however,
so hopefully Jiriki9 will edit the post above this one to include the winners once he get the time to judge(?).

Anyways... We need some neat abilities for the Chariot's 1st alt. upgrade: The Winged Chariot.
The Winged Chariot is pulled by a Pegasus; and is a flying unit.
The basic Chariot already has these abilities:
-Chariot Charge
-Ride-by-attack
(Although I don't know exactly what either do, one should get a good idea based on the names alone).

So to repeat; an airborne chariot pulled by a pegasus.
Try not to copy any of the Griffin alternatives' abilities if you can help it

Deadline for posting entries is with the end of sunday, 4th of Desember, middle european time.

Okay? Ready, Go!

Is the Winged Chariot a shooter or a melee fighter? Thanks.

Quote:
@redprince: which damage amount is taken for the damage calculation. the power in the moment of release or in the moment of beginning the chant or a middle value?

The power in the moment of release.

So, yes...it is likely that the enemy will attempt to finish off the Zealot stack at all costs before it releases the damage.

Melee most likely, as the unit is already an elite flyer.

"PEGASUS CHARGE" (Active ability)

The Winged Chariot stack flies from its original location to its target location with a great speed.  Any enemy stacks standing along its path will be hit by a powerful, forceful, and shocking Pegasus Charge.  These poor enemy stacks will receive double attack damage than the Winged Chariot's original attack damage, moved automatically behind the target location instantly (looks like these poor enemy stacks are being forcefully dragged to behind the target location), and stunned for the current turn and the next turn.

We haven't specified it, but I would as well say "melee", also considering it probably keeps teh chariot ablities

note:
-Chariot Charge (The More tiles this creature crosses on it's way to the
target, the more damage it deals and with more then 3 tiles, there is a
chance to stun the enemy for it's next turn, also preventing the
retaliation. this chance also increases with more tiles.)
-"Ride by attack": has no name yet, same effect as ride-by-attack of H5

@avi: usually you can find Creature abilities in the list on page one. post 11, of the cg.

So it's a melee... flyer, eh? Well then we may wish to add the ability:

Flying

to its repituar.

But the ability that I'm thinking of (in actuality) is

Swift flyer: The winged Chariot is immune to effects that cause flying creatures to be slowed or disabled. Takes half damage from spells and abilities that deal damage only to flyers.

Here are the missing judgements

Judgement of Round 4
Remember Round 4? It was about the ahoyl archer and it was split into two rounds, one for the "Holy Arrow" ability, one for any other. So I got to judge these seperately as well.

Round 4.1

Quote:
Purify:
On attacks, an enemy struck looses one of its buffs (lowest level first). Deals a small amount of extra damage (10-15%) to undead creatures, monsters and demonic creatures.

I like this one, it's not too strong, but not very weak either, and its quite fitting! 9 points

Quote:

Searing Aegis (Activated Ability)
- The Holy Archer fires an imbued arrow into an unoccupied Hex, engulfing the Hex in holy flames.
Any non-allied creature passing through the Hex receives Fire damage equal to the Holy Archer's normal damage.
Allied creatures occupying the Hex receives a Flame Shield ability that deals Fire damage to creatures attacking it.
Searing Aegis does not disappear over time, but can be targeted and removed by Cleansing abilities and spells.

I like this one as well. it's not imba, either, and it is quite creative. 9,5 points

This was a very hard choice for me! both abilities to me are VERY great! I ahd to decide though, and the choice fell on Searing Aegis, which is a bit more creative, imo. (which does not really degrade the other ability!!!)

Round 4.2

Quote:
Holy attack: All attacks will penetrate a small percentage of enemy damage reduction. No matter what, attacks will deal an extra 10% damage.

not sure about this one. I'm not sure what it does, but I think it does a damage reduction on the enemy AND allways+10% damage? ...but the main issue is that this ability is another attacking ability. so, sorry, gnomes, but only 3 points

Quote:
Guiding Light (Passive Ability)
- Spells and abilities that affect the Holy Archer's ability to fire ranged attacks are negated.

Solid ability, not outstanding, but nice. 7 points

So, the abilities of the Holy Archer are:
-Searing Aegis
-Guiding Light

Judging of Round 7

Quote:
Mark The Heretic:
The Zealot attacks mark it targets, making them more vulnerable to the attacks of friendly creatures. Each Zealot stack may mark only one enemy at a time (marking new target remove the older mark), and each enemy may be marked by only one mark at a time (new mark replace the older one). The mark is also removed if the Zealot stack is completely killed.

Nicely fitting. Can give quite storng combinations maybe, but you did not bad on balancing it, imo. 8,5 points

Quote:
Divine Influence (Passive Ability)
This creature's Spellpower increases by 25% when affected by Light Magic. Different Light Magic spells stack, adding additional percentage bonus.

not overcreative, but nice. 7,5 points

Quote:
"Rage of the Gods:"
-(Passive Ability)"Any time the Zealot or any adjacent stack is damaged, the creature to the damage will receive 50% of it back."

Solid on itself. A bit more offensive than defensive. 6,5 points

Quote:
Searing light (passive)
Ranged attacks and light-based damage spells are increased in potency by 15%.

Simple but nice. 7 points

Quote:
"HOLY CHANT" (Active ability)

The Zealot stack will take the current turn by praying and it cannot do any other actions during the current turn.

During the following turns, the player will be provided two options:
Option A - "Keep the Holy Chant"
...or...
Option B - "Release the Holy Chant"

If the player chooses to "Keep the Holy Chant", then the Zealot will leave the current turn by keep praying and he cannot do any other actions during the current turn.

If the player chooses to "Release the Holy Chant", then all enemy creatures on the battlefield will receive damage at once, and the Zealot once again will leave the current turn normally.

The amount of damage that all enemy creatures on the battlefield will receive depends on the amount of turns that the Zealot has spent to keep praying before releasing it.
1 turn of praying = 1x of the Zealot's normal attack damage,
2 turns of praying = 2x of the Zealot's normal attack damage,
3 turns of praying = 3x of the Zealot's normal attack damage,
...and so on...
50 turns of praying = 50x of the Zealot's normal attack damage,
...and so on...
100 turns of praying = 100x of the Zealot's normal attack damage,
...and so on...

Any Demonic and Undead creatures on the battlefield will suffer 20% higher damage than it should be.

Please note that during this "Holy Chant" period, the Zealot stack is not invincible to any kinds of damage or spells.  The praying will be stopped either by choosing to "Release the Holy Chant", or when the Zealot stack itself is completely wiped out by the enemy.

hmmm. Creative, but - I see no advance in using this, since the damage in moment of release is taken. YOu waste a whole turn than you deal "double damage" - but the zealot stack will highly be reduced. YOu loose damage output in this, alomst 100%ly. So, only 5 points for it, though I love the general idea.

SO, the Zealot gains

-Mark the Heretic
and
-Divine Influence

Wait, for task 4 the two highest scores were Searing Aegis (9.5) and Purify (9). The next highest score was Guiding light with a score of 7, but it and Searing Aegis are the two listed winners...

Just trying to clear this one up.

Next, we need new abilities for the Warrior Chariot,
the Chariot's second alt. upgrade.
This Chariot is not pulled by a Pegasus, but by a normal horse (presumably a strong breed), so no flying abilities this time!

Deadline for posting entries is with the end of Wednesday, 14th of Desember, middle european time.
