Rubbish army challenge
I challenge you to play a single player map or even multiplayer, using only units that would normally never be your main stack for the whole game That means following rules:
1. Only units you are ever allowed to buy are:
Castle:
Everyone is too good, cant play this town.
Rampart:
Dwarves, dendroids
Tower:
Golems, Genies for more fun
Inferno:
Yep, imps
Necropolis:
Zombies, Wights
Dungeon:
Everyone is too good, can't play this town, sry
Fortress:
Lizard warriors
Stronghold:
Orcs
Conflux:
Earth elemental
2. Upgrades of all those units are allowed.
3. Short version: Can't use any other unit type, unless you get them with a new hero.
Details
4. No joining monsters in any way
5. No elemental summoning spells
6. Must instantly dismiss all units you gain from necromancy skill
7. Can't use angels from Gryphon Conservatories and wyvrens from Serpent fly Hives
8. Can't use units you get from Pandora's box, unless they are listed above.
Post stories, tactics, achievements, screens and videos! In multiplayer, only you have to follow these rules

Aren't Summon Elemental spells rubbish as well? I find it ridiculous that the only level 5 water spell is Summon Water Elemental. They may have some tactical potential against silly AI, but in general they are useless creatures with no interesting abilities.

Well if you decide to play with only imps then you might develop a magic hero and fight map with magic mostly. However you would need elementals to survive for few rounds. The imp stack would be ressurrected but stronger enemies will wipe the whole imp stack out before you reach round 2. In suchs cases, summoning elementals is very useful.

Dwarves and Dendroids are not rubbish at all. Just cast an expert Prayer and voila!

Lizard Warriors and Orc Chieftans are both fine archers.

Dendroids and dwarves too slow.
Lizard warriors are good, but my vote goes for golems, genies.
It should be lizard men, not lizard warriors.
Unless it is balanced.
My other vote would be for necros.
