Should I install another version?
I use Windows 7. Since I got recommended to install the latest one, so I did. And people also said VCMI has so many bugs and I don't have much enough programming knowledge. That'll be a problem.

I mean - broken instalation due to, for example, your antivirus software. You did all right, but I think something during installation went wrong.

Nope for all. Battery will not be supported, starting from 2.9.0 version (more powerful ERM commands were added instead).

I've tried to redownload and reinstall era2 with my antivirus being disabled. But the result is still the same..

You mean the Heroes 3 game? I think it's from some torrent. I forgot where did it come from. It's way long ago. But I've played HoTA this whole time but so far everything's fine.

How do you open the WOG options menu.
It seems to me that you open it from the save mode.
When saving, the buttons will not be pressed. This is a normal reaction. You can only change the EPM options when starting a new map

Oh.. That's really messed up. Omg thank you so much Igrik... So basically I don't have to reinstall it this whole time.. Wow. xD
So if I wanna play wog campaign, I can change the wogify setting in new game in single scenario. I see.
I'm really sorry guys. And thank you so much everyone for helping me. I asked this question since I didn't see such a problem in search engine. My bad..

Stop! Campaigns on the version 2.8.8 cannot be completed. There will be errors. You need to download the version 2.8.3 or earlier.

I recetly updated my Era to the latest release. However, when I installed this release, the mmanager.exe were referred to as viruses and not copied into the disk, so I'm using modsmann.exe to activate/deactivate mods instead. However, no matter how many mods I actually activated, it seems that only the wog is really activated and all other mods just have no effect at all.
Does anyone have clues on how to solve this problem? Thanks.

Which version did you install and did you install on a clean H3 folder?
Also WoG-Mod has to be at the bottom position in mod manager, all other mods on top.

Which version did you install and did you install on a clean H3 folder?

I installed eralatest.exe to a folder which contains ERA 2.46, and yes I double checked that all other mods are above WOG in the manager.

Don't get me wrong but this is suppose to look like this, its the .exe file for era2.8.8, i will love to upgrade from 3.58f but not like this.

ok, 16 cheap antivirus out of 66 detected some snow. Imo everyone should buy a good antivirus, then stop those arbitrary online detection, they worth nothing.
