Or:
Click Start > All Programs > Accessories , right-click Notepad , and click Run as administrator . For protection against malware, Windows 7 doesn't allow normal processes to change/edit files in the Program Files folder. In Windows Vista and Windows 7, applications are not supposed to store user-writable files in the Program Files folder. However this method will compromise your computer security.

I'm getting an error message when I run the mouse over some of the WoG objects (specifically, the big triangular creature dwellings that have a single door and come in four elemental flavors - I don't know what they're called). The error message is:
Exception EAccess Violation in module h3wmaped.exe at 00E68DO. Access violation at address 004E68DO in module 'h3wmaped.exe'. Read of address 00000000.
Any idea what that's all about?

It's been a long time but if I remember right the fix editor thing in the tool pack solves the issue.

I don't think it was that, either some era update or a patch for editor Bersy uploaded later.

Ok, I have a problem while playing in multiplayer. Whether it is lan, or via tunngle, it doesn't matter, the bug is the same.
During combat, between two human players, the games seem to go their separate ways. One game shows that a genie is playing (for example), and the other one that a medusa is playing. It is always like that between humans, the games show that it is the turn of the other player's monster.
I even had a funny bug where my friend cast the blind spell, and for him only my supreme archangel was blinded, but for me, all of my units were blinded, so I stared at the monitor, gaping. I hope you can help me, since it's not fun beating on the AI anymore.

Okay, I've ran some tests of my own. With the stock Era settings, I was able to finish the battle, and everything went smoothly, no desynch.
When I tried my settings, things went haywire. The most often mistakes are when one side gets luck, morale, or a special creature ability, and for the other side, that doesn't happen. Now, seeing how I love the Skills, monster, heroes, enhancements and rebalancing tab, that's probably the source of the errors. I've tried everything except turning off the skill enhancements (they are all on), and for the hero, Enhanced War Machines III is on.
Any ideas? Those scripts make the game funky, and would really hate to lose them just for a battle.
Yes, another one, the Mithril Smelter mod has a bug somewhere. When turned on, the script would throw the joining player out of the game after the end of the host player's second turn.
And yes, stack experience works fine.

Nope. If scripts are written without special network handling, no magic can save you from losing synchronization between computers

I'll check all of the scripts for skill enhancements, and notify you if I find out which one/ones make the game desynch.
