I´ve just updated to 2,46 but now I am back on that same problem as before, were mobs moves like way to fast.
But I dont use Fast Battle Animation Mod, and I deleted the "Data\cranim.txt" too. Still moves faster than normal.

Very annoying: I have like 20 saved wog settings (dat files), I keep them all in a folder named Wog Options. Up until now, I was able to select and load those dat files by browsing the folder in Wog Menu. But now I have to carry them to main Era folder to be able to select them.
This is since the recent 2.46, the previous 2.46 uploaded a few days ago had no such problem.
Also, not very important but if put in plug-ins folder "shades of darkness" can't be turned off now. I tested plague and bad luck, to see if they can be turned off, looks like they can but havent tested many many times, maybe a plague month or a unlucky hit didn't just occur.

Not 100% sure, but try editing the Wog.ini file
last part reads something like
"Options_File_Path=C:\Program Files (x86)\3DO\Heroes 3 Complete\"
just adding your own map into that path could work?

I prefer to wait for Bersy, editing Wog.ini file may result in unexpected bugs.

Checked. Cannot confirm. By the way, Era 2.46 has no cranim.txt in Data. tRy installing over clean game.

Agree. The bug is located and will be fixed. Windows treat files without extension as files with dot in the end. "2" is "2." really.

Tried switching on/off many patches - ok. Plugin Manager is the same, nothing changed.

Now 0 by default. The source of crashes to my mind was MP3 trigger.

Well, cause of crashing on my old singlecore and HyperThreaded P4 was assigned two logical CPUs to Heroes process. If assigned is only one, there is no crashing.
Now I have another issue which I didn't have with previous version. I can buy all war machines in blacksmith, altough "all war machines in blacksmith.dll.off" is off. Am I the only one?

[+] Added new Mod Manager by SyDr. Install mods safely using buttons "Add new" or simply by drag-n-drop.
[+] Added full color Chinese GB font support.
[+] Added animated trees patch by Valery.
[+] Added patcher_x86.dll and wog_patcherizer plugin by baratorch.
[+] Era tries to automatically turn DEP off if possible.
[+] ERM trigger CM3 now handles all clicks.
[+] Added SN:D command. It's used to redraw hero, heroes meeting, adventure map and town screens.
[+] Added new modifier syntax for SN command parameters:
SN:X$ (without &), SN:M#/$, SN:M#/#/$, SN:W#/$.
Traditional "d" adds 0 or empty string, d[...] is equivalent to d+.
d+, d-, d*, d:, d& (string concatenation).
Example: !!SN:W^Gold^/y1 W^Gold^/d-500 W^Gold^/d*11 W^Gold^/d:10; Gold = y1 -500 * 1.1
[+] Added option "UseOnlyOneCpuCore". By default Era uses as many processor cores as possible.
[+] Added option "FixGetHostByName" to heroes3.ini. If it's on, Era tries to select best external IP for network gaming.
[+] Added option "SavedGameExtraBlockSize" to heroes3.ini. Set it to high enough value to reduce network crashes.
[+] SMACKW32.DLL was updated to version 4.04e.
[+] Added "stack experience bonuses.txt" from WoG 3.58f to Help folder.
[*] Virtual file system was improved for better stability and compatibility with Windows 7+ and Linux (Wine). All hooks are now optional (heroes3.ini).
[*] Applied fixes for WoG mod by Algor.
[*] Numerous small changes in the package.

[+] Fixed battle hint and log for modified by ERM damage from towers, moat and magic.

[+] Added ERM scripts preprocessing. A sequence of three and more exclamation characters is treated as a comment and cut from source code at loading. Old WoG maps will not show error dialog at start.
[+] Added fixes for fire elemental and hell baron by Bes.
[+] Added "all war machines in blacksmith.dll.off" plugin by baratorch. It allows to buy all machines of war in blacksmith.

[+] Commanders and emissaries are displayed in editor.
[*] Mod list generation mechanism was changed to a fully portable variant. Game loads mod list from file "Mods\list.txt" now. The lower the mod is in the list, the higher its priority is. Duplicates and blanks are ignored, as well as not existent items. Mods which are not mentioned in the list are considered disabled.

I have troubles getting this to run on Wine. Running h3era.exe does nothing but creates a process that consumes no memory. Running h3wog.exe starts WoG, but all WoG options are disabled and greyed out.
Am I doing something wrong?

I could not test package on Wine. So let's start from beginning. Did you install Era in Linux? If so, some manual changes should be made (bat file was not executed). Open Tools\Era Start Menu -> Mod Manager and enable all mods.
Then open Mods\WoG\Data\zvs\Lib1.res\zvslib1.ini in text editor and replace font names like "Microsoft Sans Serif" with those you have in Wine, possibly Arial or Courier.
