Actually 75 is the limit. After that the hero will jump to 89 if I recall right and his stats will be set to 0 in most situations (negative experience bug).
Anyway it is interesting to know the right values because WoG expansion allows any level to your hero, so some unusual/interesting scenario could be created, where Tazar starts 114 (invincible) and lose levels every week, so you have to play fast, etc. Just an example.
