I do not actually know who wrote that even if I have my suspicions.. This kind of thing leaves a bitter taste even after all this time, of shattered hopes, dreams and trust. I do not believe that ubi will give an official answer but.. the truth can be bent a little bit. While I sympathise with BH's position, it's not as simple to say that ubi has all the blame for everything. I recognize that BH worked their @sses off and they loved H6. It is just not easy to discern how much of the H6 vision can be attributed to them or ubi and how much they agreed or protested with the proposed features.

Quote: @Adriancat -> nice quote posted above but who was that blackhole worker that posted their response? Are Blackhole not involved anymore in Heroes VI development?
He just quoted the post, seems like the original one was deleted though.
Judging by the fact that BH revealed all this, I guess they are not involved anymore.
Like the orignal poster said, it's only Limbic who works at the game right now so I think no matter how great and capable they are, it's not enough imo.

Why was it deleted? I would expect this on the Ubisoft boards (where it still stays as a quote by the way) but not on a fans community forum. Legal repercussions?

It cannot have been one of us, if anything there would have been a public explanation. Not to mention that nothing he said was against the rules so..

yes, trust adrian, esp on ubi forums
for those that don't know, it's not hard to see the post appeared on last page just before G0bl1n's.
& the user was online in HC ~2hrs ago but didn't delete his second post.
During this lull, I'll mention another counterpoint the surrealism of the underlying metaphor: when the customer is late with delivering/finalizing design info or is fluffing around, it is imperative on the contractor to spell out in no uncertain terms that the targets cannot be met unless the info is delivered/finalized by a certain date & will impact on such & such, etc, etc. This has to be done as high priority in writing, not just verbally, & repeated repeatedly in meetings so as to be able to be used as evidence later.
hmm it's still April.

Hmm really troubling news, BH out of the picture the game in a bad shape still, and the post of a supposedly former employ comes to confirm that UBI doesn't have a coherent vision with the franchise or interest of keeping it as it is.
1. After H5, the reluctance of Nival to continue work with UBI should have been a indication of bad things to come, but most of us blamed Nival for the semi failure that H5 was, although ToE was a good step forward ... but we hoped and had faith.
2. The constant delay and postponing the release date again a bad sign we hoped they would polish the game, but from the post it seams that UBI didn't have any idea what they should do with H6 changing cutting so fort and so on (if the post is true) and just flushed down the drain a developer and released an crippled game.
3. The way the game was released and the numerous bugs that still plaque it and the fact that even at this moment the release the patches from holiday to holiday (almost from Christmas to Easter) is a lack of involvement and respect for the buyers.
4. The rumors of a possible BH bankruptcy .. again not encouraging ...
All this and the the post (which I incline to believe) make me think that Heroes 6 will die out not of lack of fans or sales but because of incompetency of handling the game franchise by UBI.
5. The conflux which whatever thy say is a disguised DRM, and make the game even more crippled if there is now Internet, or if in the future they take down the conflux servers will make it a joke of a game...
As for the future well UBI created the Might & Magic brand which for me means 2 things:
1. There not going to sell the franchise (pretty much the don't care about the games or universe just the name which draws in players) because there are money to be made even if not from the Heroes Games.
2. Whenever the will have a generic game to release rpg, strategy, FPS (God forbid) or anything related to fantasy genre they can use this new brand and automatically create a connection with the universe that took more than 25 years to create and build.
To close up it, I might sound pessimistic but H6 is a precedent that either will happen again if UBI feel like milking the franchise or is the end of the Heroes games.
And what is most troubling is they could have made an superb game people expected it even the critics were more indulgent with there previews (at list it seamed to me) because they expected a new boost of vitality for the entire series but UBI failed to deliver, am not saying its a bad game but it requires more involvement and work than what they give.

I don't think anybody cares about Ashan actually, it failed to become even remotely interesting several times. Among the M&M games on the other hand, Heroes has always been and will always be the only major commercial title, the rest are just for flavour (even though the M&M RPGs spawned Heroes in the first place).

Awesome read! Sad, but awesome.
Finally, someone has the balls to come out, tell it like it is, and throw Ubi under the bus where they deserve to be.
If anyone still believes there should be a Heroes 7 with Ubi in charge, then you deserve to throw your money away on garbage.

Will log one more time today and try multiplayer duels. If the sh1t fails again with connection timed out, i just give up...there is NO foking reason to waist my time for checking "fuglisoft" forums or log to game just to see fuglisoft lies and broken promises.
No bugfixes, no transparency regarding ETAs, no working multiplayer? A real success story...
However, if to look on the usual fuglisoft pattern, one can realize how "dedicated" they are to their customers

That seems to be the full version. And the one posted here and in other forums, an edition of it.
Unlike the first one, this one explains the amount of bugs in the game and why it's taking so long for the new patches to come out. I'm no programmer, but if that's true, then it's likely a death certificate for expansion aspirations. If it's so difficult to fix small amounts of existing code, I can't see how they'll manage to build upon it.
