Alkar/Belaver:
The ship is obviously very extravagant next to the others in port, even in the dark while burning; its sides are fancifully carved and gilded, and its crew wears matching uniforms. The words Duke of Glory have been painted in fancy lettering on the bow.
As you watch, a bucket line is formed into the hold. You catch sight of a few Dark Elves joining the bucket line (though these don't appear to be part of the burning ship's crew) and a few bystanders on the docks have joined in to help as well.
----------------
Rincewind:
Upon squeezing through the window, Rincewind gets a better look inside. It's dark, except for the light flickering in from the windows, but he can make out a big chest at the foot of the bed and a wardrobe standing against the far wall. The desk under the window has a few drawers. ((On closer inspection, the larger pieces of furniture also appear to be bolted to the floor.)) There is also a smallish table, and a cupboard of some sort near it.

Rincewind went over the papers on table in case there was something incriminating there. Then he opened the drawers to see what inside. He decided that if he would not find anything there he would risk inspecting the big chest near the bed.

The letter is hard to read in the poor light, but you can make out something about a crypt near a place called Tatalia—and something about payment. The drawers are locked. The chest has a keyhole, but opens easily in spite of this, unlocked; it contains clothing—expensive silks and cottons, some of which gleam with gold and silver embroidery.

Wondering if this may be the ship that is to take us over to Harmondale, since I can't remember the name of this ship from the game, I figure it may be a good idea to help put out the fire. I join in the bucket line to help get the fire put out a little faster.

As your newly-miniature self passes buckets of water down the line, you notice a figure in black leather running around on deck, carrying buckets like everyone else but traveling somewhat erratically. The next time you look it's gone, but you notice one of the windows to the captain's cabin is open.

The figure seems a little strange, but probably just frantic over the fire. The disappearance also seems strange, with the window being open. My distraction causes a small pause in the line, which causes the one trying to pass to me to nudge me to get my attention again. I resume my bucket line duties.

Slowly but surely the fire seems to be going out, as the smoke isn't as thick as it had been and there are encouraging shouts coming from further up the line.

After rummaging a bit in the chest and not finding anything except clothes ((unless told otherwise)), Rincewind looked around. The papers mentioned payment which could always be incriminating on something, but he wanted something more solid. He looked under the bed and then went to open the wardrobe.

Halfway to the bottom of the chest, Rincewind realizes he can hear enthusiastic shouts coming from outside, though the walls muffle the exact words.
But upon digging through the garments, Rincewind discovers that the inside of the chest isn't as big as would be suggested by the exterior...closer examination reveals a false bottom.
((Let me know if you still want to check under the bed and in the wardrobe or investigate further first.))

A faint glitter of hope appeared in Rincewind's mind. He may have finally got lucky. And Just in time too, by the sound of things coming from outside. Carefully, Rincewind looked for a way to open up the hidden compartment by way of searching the bottom and the outside of the chest with his hands.

Rincewind:
You find a small switch on the bottom, but when you flick it all the chest does is click; nothing else seems to happen. After a bit more searching around, you find a spot carved into the bottom that allows you to lift the false bottom free. Under it is a jumble of silk—the color is indeterminate in the dark room except that it isn't very bright—and a nasty-looking device set on the underside of the false bottom. So that was what that switch was for...

Rincewind grabbed the silk and stuffed under his own clothes. Whatever it was, it must have been important enough to hide in a concealed compartment and protected with a booby trap. The former wizard glanced at it again. Somehow he managed to survive once again. For some reason Luck smiled at him. The question was when will she get bored of him again. He did not intend to stick around long enough find out.
Rincewind replaced the false bottom, put the contents of the chest back in and closed the lid. The less signs of burglary there was, the more time he had before someone would go after him. When all was done, he crept to the window, looked outside to make sure no one was watching and slipped out as quietly as possible. Then he closed the window behind him.
When outside he looked around and saw that although the fire was under control, there was still work to do to put it out completely. He approach the nearest man that just emptied a bucket of water into the flames and helpfully took the empty bucket from him. Then he headed off the yacht with the empty bucket in hand and a determined look on his face.

Your skin feels numb and dead where the silk touches it, but otherwise you restore the chest to its previous appearance without problems. You likewise make it off the yacht. And just in time; the Duke himself is storming down the dock with bodyguards trailing behind, and he looks to be furious.

Belaver:
As the fire dies down, you notice a man in extravagant clothing and trailing guards in Erathian livery striding to the yacht. He's an older man, in formal draping robes and a coronet. He also looks very angry.

Rincewind's skin crawled under his leather armor wherever the silk touched it. He may have been a failure all his life, but he was also a wizard. That was his essence, a simple body swap could not change it. That silk was magical, he could feel it. And yet... he realized as he walked down the yacht that back on the Discworld he would recognize the magic of the item before he touched it. The greasy feel of magic in the air, the octarine aura around the item. They were gone. The magic field of this world was not as strong as the one on the Disc and Rincewind could not rely on his knowledge here. He realized with horror that for the first time in his life he may not be a wizard anymore.
As has been mentioned before, Rincewind was not skilled in a lot of things and in fact one of the only things he was good at was surviving. His instincts reminded him that he was still in the middle of a nobleman's ship which he just robbed and thinking philosophical questions like "Who am I?" and "Why am I here?" would result in him being a prisoner waiting to be executed for robbery. Among his uncountable survival skills was the ability to run. More importantly, among his uncountable survival skills was the ability to know when to run and when to walk. This was the time to walk. And so he walked right by the Duke and his guards and right off the yacht. He turned around a corner where no one could see him. Tristan did not seem to be around. If he had any brains he would wait near the Turquoise Bay, and if he didn't it was his problem. Rincewind looked around. No one was looking at him. No one he could see, anyway.
Now?, asked his brain.
Now!, answered his survival instinct.
The empty bucket dropped from his hand. Normally, to get to a certain speed from rest an object needs to go through all the speeds in the middle. Rincewind's legs decided they couldn't be bothered with the silliness of laws of physics and broke off into their maximum speed right of the bat. They were taking the rest of his body in the direction of the Turquoise Bay.

As both ships plus the Seademon are all located on Emerald Island's sole dock, you don't have far to go. You can still hear Lord Markham raging on board the Duke of Glory as you find Captain Suntamer, who is watching the mess from his spot on the dock (most of his crew having gone to help fight the fire). Captain Suntamer arches a slanted eyebrow at you as you run up.

The amused look on the Captain's face took out whatever breath Rincewind managed to get back after his short sprint. He was expecting a more serious greeting after their last talk. The feeling that something bad is going to happen to him washed over his body. Which, in fact, calmed him down considerably because it was how he usually felt.
"Umm, well... I have this." Rincewind produced the silk from beneath his clothes. "I found it, erhmmm, close by if you know what I mean."

((Sorry for the delay))
Well, Broindur was a good chap and all, but Mat liked to continue breathing and all of that. Air was his favorite thing. Well, after gold and women, but still one of his favorite things. And well, with the big guy down there was no way for this to go well. At all. Ever. Well, unless many more people came back to help him, at least. So really, there was only one realistic option for the one-eyed warrior. Fortunately, his legs weren't TOO sore from all the landing on everything, and he was still very capable of throwing his Ashendari, which fit ever so nicely through that hole. And for that matter, Mat was as well. Hopefully, none of those skeleton things were as nimble as him or channelers...Oh wait, channelers couldn't hit him through the protection of his necklace. Well, unless that had disappeared with his luck, which would be just like the Pattern, it had a sense of humor about things like this after all.
