Seriously, how could an online game with 2 races and reused graphics replace heroes?

With the release of DoC Open Beta, the "smart" people of ubisoft have replaced the old M&M H6 site with DoC one:

Ah, the microtransaction you to death thing. Want the academy faction? Buy it. Want inferno, that is for sale to. Oh, you'd like more than one heroe? Money please. Want to be able to find the Sword of Impendind Doom. It is yours for cash. Ect. And all online only. bleh. No thx.
