it's been awhile, hasn't it? i hope salamadre hasn't forgotten about you. i'm sure he will re-upload it when he can. i would do it, but i don't know what the issue was.
as an update, i have 88 defs for my 2nd upload made. i still have an awful lot on my plate, and i haven't seen anything posted by Grayface or Maestro about a nude women town yet. i don't have the 3D software required to make the nude fighters, so the only thing i can do is make the females that are already in the game nude, and that could take awhile, like months. i'm still waiting for a reply about the shark def i'm trying to make, and i'm still waiting for a reply about the script questions i asked.

I am not talking about the current campains, but about new campains with your defs(as for example-Hero of Light made new campains for his mod,not only single maps).

i tried to put together a campaign using some of my older maps, but i got bored fast. that was years ago. i don't think i'll be doing that anytime soon. changing objects and improving them, plus adding new ones to the game, is more my thing. i think i'm just a map designer, and that's as far as it goes. i am really happy with the new ground patches i have been adding. when layered and applied right, they make my maps look like they are paintings.
i have 130 defs made for my second upload, and the bulk of the latest are the ground patches. i redid my version of grass, and added a darker version. and i have (i think) 19 different defs of "moss". sounds boring, right? well, when ya'll see them, i think you will indeed like them as much as i do. i will upload a couple screenshots soon, so you can get the gist of why i'm liking these so much. i've been trying to rework other defs, mainly changing the h2 defs to match h3 defs, and i have to tell you, it's HARD. recoloring ONE def so that it matched my other stuff to look natural took 2 HOURS. but now that that one's done, i can begin work on the others, now that i know the formula. anyway, back to work!
edit: ok, screenshots for the moss stuff-
the best layered parts i had were small areas, so i just uploaded shots of the most used.
and, a teaser of the new and improved nude prisoners. now with moving breasts, and bouncy boobs for more well-endowed women(pic enlarged)...

The map looks amazing. Some objects with different lighting and style look quite funny, especilaly in swamp area, but overall it's great artistic composition.
As to nude slaves... I have to get one.

i appreciate the feedback, guys. having people interested in what i'm doing motivates me like no other. i have had members of my family give me ideas on what else i could put in the game, like fences for animal farms, and even a U.F.O.(still have to tidy up the edges on the U.F.O., but both are in the next upload.)
this morning i figured out how to make terrain patches from other defs, using the clover fields defs. i have made new grass defs, MUCH better than my blurry older ones, using the terrains uploaded by someone else, an unfinished project of his. the grass looks much better, much more akin to the sharpness of the moss defs and the rest of the game.
what the hell, i'll post the instructions on how to make terrain patches using whatever you can. maybe this hasn't already been posted yet? (this was done using photoshop elements 2.0)
=========================
1. open photoshop, and your solid-colored terrain pic.
2. create "new" white pic with same dimensions as your pic.
3. copy a good size of your background, and paste into the white pic. then, LAYER/DUPLICATE LAYER/ (make sure "destination" is your pic)
4. now, select your pic, and "LAYERS". (you will see that your pic now has a layer attached to it. make sure that the only box with the "eye" in it is the black and white one)
5. with your black and white pic selected, use "magic wand" to select the black pixels. then, right-click, LAYER VIA COPY(the terrain should now appear right, then save as new).
6. now, just fix the grayed-around edges. (i used black on white)
=================================
it took me awhile to figure it out, but the online tutorials were gibberish, and i ended up revising my own instructions a couple times. anyway, thought i'd post what i learned, maybe one of you guys might like to make your own personal terrains. it's easier than it sounds, actually. it's just getting the formula right that can be a b*tch.

oh, i see what you were talking about, the plateau on the left side of the screen. i added that there because it made sense as a cliff for the object just underneath it, but yeah, looking at it now, it looks a little lame...

Eureka, you invented the wheel.
Sound rather funny specially when it is clearly visible you use all my custom terrain patches. The large majority of new objects used in your screens come from 1.09 patch + Composite objects mod.
Good work for the others.

i was referring to methods to make and improve things that need improving, sal. what is it with you and these snide comments? are you trying to start a p*ssing contest, or are you just bored?
edit: and btw, the stuff that i'm debuting in these screens are the "moss" defs, which were made with the heroes 2 terrain defs(which weren't in 1.09 or composite objects mod)... you missed the point of my post entirely...

some more stuff i've done. these terrain patches (besides the redone holy grounds), are new, made from pics i found on the internet.
i have new dirt done, as well as grass, snow, new scorched earth. i have replaced my older redone grass defs with the new ones. with the holy ground, i removed the headstones and most of the winding stone walkways(they sucked). some pics:
i also plan on redoing some of my moss defs, mainly the blue-green, and a few darker ones that i feel could be better, using pics from the internet.
EDIT: some more screens of my latest work. the 1st is the swamp part from earlier redone, using some new terrains, and what i've created today, some overgrowing plant life(see it covering the road?). 2nd pic is a snow part from earlier redone, with 2 new snow terrains(i like how i can have a cleared snow path, along with drifts on either side). and the 3rd is what i've just finished making, 5 different colors of wildflower patches. i'm planning on making spring trees to go with them.
also, salamandre, if you still have the corrected zeobjts.txt for my 1st upload, could you reload it please(or if ANYONE has it)? i will save it and make it available to whoever needs it for my 1st upload. thanks in advance.

Awesome, the swamp looks great and extremely detailed
The snow looks good too, reminds me of Icewind Dale.
It's always great to see some new additions, whether it's just objects, added to the game.

thanks. it's from a map that i've been touching up for 3(?)years. i keep improving what i can, then add it to that map and other maps that are already completed. it's pretty much just finishing touches now, but i always want to do better. the bulk of my improvements/additions have only been made in the last 3 months. before that, i was doing what i could with vanilla h3.
edit: oh yeah, forgot. i have 245 objects made for my next patch.

1. yeah, they look out of place, but the original bear was too light, but the stonehenge still needs tweaking...
2. ...
3. thanks. i'm trying to make things as real as i can.
4. never played it(or any others past 3). never will. couldn't get past the new look. ...my dad got into 4, then after that he quit playing heroes altogether. i think that 4 took the air out of the entire series for him, lol.
