I think it's ok since his old starting skills were attack as demon lord, defence as warlock. But it's Destruction I remember.

H5 did not have might / magic class dichotomy so moving to dungeon automatically made him magic. He seemed to have plenty of daggers in his attire even then though.

Ah I see thanks for the info currently on the third map of the dungeon campaign I gotta say the campaign is a lot better than the base game one. I wonder if we will see kiril and anatasaya(not sure if I spelled her name right)

The events may be set a century after the original H6 but some characters have longer lives than that  Expect to see some familiar faces.

Ok, after playing extensively(still in the middle of elven map 2) I have to say that devs did a right choice introducing Dungeon instead of Sylvan/Academy. It establishes presence of the elves as we know them, arrogant and proud. Lots and lots of tactical abilities, have to think really hard on how to approach battles on different heroes.
1. Storyline
IS awesome. They have learned a lot, it is mature, developed and quests are actually forcing ypu to say split your army, or rush as fast as possible, or explore everything. They mixed all these perfectly. I love the interactions between Raelag and minotaurs, and between brothers 
2. Lineup
Awesome, love it. My favourite are chakram dancers, and manticores(they seem to have more animations by the way)
Assasins are powerful but easily killed, its worth it sometimes to attack with them and then use racial on them atraight away and move away. on general creatures are powerful but expensive. Only exception, black dragons are a bit weak on defence.
Love the trickster class as well, and this mageblade dynasty weapon is fun. New abilities are hard to use but effective.
My fwvourite races always were haven and academy, but now I am not sure

Played a duel yearsterday. Expected to see lots of people wanting to play dungeon but now, lookls like they want to play against dungeon.
Well its ok, i bought Menan, magic blood class(still cant remember all these cool class names, Prophet?).
So, in the first turn his Warmaster attack my BD with Kirins. With heroic charge. You can guess what happened. Then kenshi use trail of clouds to close in and finish my poor dragons. Then he focused on scorpicores for some reason, and then it was my turn and his atationary troops begij dying nicely to acid cloud, and my faceless took control over kirins for next turn... Then servers got switched off, so not sure who would win.. Interesting battle nevertheless. Dungeon sorcerers have to rely on watchers and faceless mainly for damage output, and honestly, BD immunity to magic is more of a liability to me that asset.
Few questions:
1. I fought some faceless in campaign, qnd thel launched some sort of ranged attack at me, what was it? Cant see it on my faceless.
2. Reputation abilities... How to use them properly? Say shadow image. Possible uses? I first thought - faceless puppeteers, but images are unable to use active abilities..
Edit: Xerox, yeah when I first done that i was half expecting a bug, glitch or crash to be honest!

I'd say that the entire race is low on health and might def (minotaurs being the only exception), very high on dmg and magic def, moderate high on ini. Also every creature has some great special ability and this make them powerful (stats are not the greatest and weekly growth is the smallest i think).
I wouldn't say that the black dragons are the lower end from champions, they are very useful.
Abysses dweller - OP!! nerf incoming and a ban from tournament i foresee!

Perhaps someone who have used Steam more than I have can help me with this.
Do you know if pushing the Installera button will install my preordered Shades of Darkness?
Is it normal to be asked to install the basic game (like in the picture) as a first step when you buy a standalone expansion but don't have the Steam-version of the original game?
Or is something wrong?

hi Lock,
I bought only SoD and Steam asked me to install H6 as well, when u do u will have to click unlock content in the upper right corner and write down the key from steam

Another question:
Since installing from Steam means that the whole game gets downloaded, I guess I should uninstall my current retail version of the game first.
What happens to the special content I got with that version, my completed campaigns and the dynasty weapons I've levelled up?
Do you think it will work to keep files like ProfileData, DynastyData and CampaignData at the desktop during uninstalling and installing, and then put them back in the correct folder in the reinstalled game?

I was prepared to be disappointed by this expansion but so far, it has exceeded all of my expectations.

Agree and I finished the 1st map which I am probably going to replay to become a tear hero instead for the Visuals. Relaeg just does not suit as blood.
I still have not recieved my pre-purchase bonuses though and I feel bad for all those who do not know how to get the game to work.
