Implosion doesn't help much against necromancy, the amount of prime damage is insignificant compared to that of the other spells and your army's damage. Suppose you kill 50 skeletons, he'll raise the other 100 or raise a different stack.

Yep, a good might undead is the hardest to beat. In a normal game, I would try to get five or six bigger stacks of units instead of seven smaller ones.

Nikolas is officially the undisputed champion of the second tourney, after a heated and unpredictable game my undead succumbed to the flames. Helped that he had cloak of Malassa and rune of flame, the lucky basterd! A few mistakes on both sides but really, this was a dog eat dog kind of game, each stepping on each other's toes with both armies crumbling fast.
Took revenge in the third game at least, my warmaster pounded his vindicator nicely

I just remembered.. There is a bronge cup up for grabs between Locksley and Simpel. Only you two can can lay a claim on it and the game is not obligatory but I'd enjoy watching one last game
Tomorrow I am beginning preparations for the new map version, I am returning back to reputation lvl 2 and armies will be stronger than ever. The next touney shall be known as the Cup of Tears and Blood

I had a look on it yesterday, very interesting victory for Nikolas without any dispelling. Summing up my impressions:
The control spells did a good job but the haven couldn't use that advantage because of things like doing low damage, being unable to reach units and also spending too many creature turns on healing, especially early on. Killing/loosing the vestals really made things even. Stronghold couldn't do many actions but those actions had a real impact (unlike haven's). The barbarian made good use of pressed attack.

I would definately like to play but the it's the final week before everything becomes normal again after all these holidays. Simpel, if you change your mind and want to play one more duel soon, I have a lot of gaming time next week.

I did, you were rather disorganized and spread all over the place Nikolas had one crazy beginning but that was one extra reason to stand your ground and play defensively till he came to you. Charging straight is for knights! Surprised you blinded the dreamreavers, they should have pretty tame damage compared to the crushers or furies. Even more surprising you did not disable the goblins as the praetorian blocker was only too easy to kill(resurrection and guardian angel II seemed wasted on them  ) and your griffins advancing so that they could be focused on. First time I see the griffin dive bug..

The praets were easy to kill, but guardian angel 1 is very easy to get with 7 units still around. I could keep them infinitely invincible, that worked for me. That way I can keep the actual disabling for other stacks. Praets only died when I ran out of morale, which took a while.
I don't particularly need to play defensive, the defense isn't in my positionning, it's in my disabeling. I can get out there and do some damage still. Furthermore, he had 3 archers to my none, he could very well stay on his side and force me to move over, because I woudn't kill anything playing defensive in that case. Better to take the initiative on it.
The griffin dive bug isn't a bug in itself, it's the same old bug that can get you stuck on your morale turn if you wait with a creature that gets good morale. You can't use abilities on your morale turn.

Great and true...
When do you prefer to play? I'm in gmt+1. There are some time differences - I prefer to play daytime but that's before lunch for you. Battle should end before 18.00 when we eat. After 21.00 is ok again.

Hi everyone,
I'm new on these forums (just registered) and I'd like to join the next heroes 6 tournament. I have followed the previous ones and its something thats seems fun and something I would like to be a part of. Also all the replays that you guys post of your duels are entertaining (i find you entertaining Gameslayer989) so heres hoping for more
In case you are interested I have been playing heroes 6 on/off for about a year now with friends on lan and I mostly play might haven/inferno. I enjoy destroying magic heroes (or being destroyed by them!).
I would enjoy the chance to duel before the new tournament starts so if anybody is interested just gimme a yell (will post uplay tag later) thanks

Just a followup on the uplay account name, mine is da_yaz. Also, I'm not that experienced, not too long ago I was convinced necro magic tears couldnt be beat. How wrong I was
