Bad news regarding the music for future installments (including Shades of Darkness).
Rob King confirmed in a Facebook post that he and Paul Romero are no longer doing music for the Might and Magic franchise.

Can't see the link (need to be logged in and I don't have Facebook), so I can't read the info. But it would be a loss, for sure, considering how long they have contributed to the series.

Then it's time for Jason Graves to take over. I really enjoy the series' music done by Paul and Rob. Nevertheless, in my opinion, the best tracks were written by Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan.

Eh, they're okay I guess.
To me, none of them stand out as anything particularly special, I just don't find them memorable.

Summer Plains, the best one. When I heard this in the game I was so happy. I love how it actually sound good too, usual when they remake stuff its crap. I love the dun dun dun (dun dun dun). I never payed to much attention to which songs were by who, but this one is King and Anthony Romero, so I guess those were the composers I liked. A shame for them to go then.

Whenever I go to work, I frequently play the old HoMM music in my head as I walk.
