I actually laugh in guys faces when they say that "girls only like douchebags", and in the most cases it's about a super hot model type chick who is a self centered, materialistic b!tch with a bag of chaff for brain. do you have anything in common with her? in most cases not. and she chooses the idiots who also are self centered, shallow and with a bag of chaff for brain.
c'mon, it's not so snowing hard. grow a pair of cojones, grab your suit or buy one if you don't have one, grab some hair gel and make yourself a badass haircut, sharpen your tongue and go get them.
I for example like smart and witty people, which is exactly what my barbarian lady is. We've met a the pub I like to hang out the most, when she was working as a bartender there.
so the next one who whines about "nice guys finishing last" and "girls only like douchebags" will receive a savage beating with a spiked baseball bat. also you will be mauled by Russian bear cavalry.

Haven't read the whole thread Ad, I was just expressing my opinion on the subject.
some considers me to be a arrogant jerk, which is a close thing to a douchebag. The difference is that I'm also a gentleman with a refined taste for drinks and women.

You're a fan of psychology right? Behavioral science tells us that people are pretty much immune to arguments when they are angry, the logical parts of the brain pretty much switches off in that state in favour of more primitive "**** YOU!" parts.
Therefore, weaving insults into your arguments is 100% counter-productive, the only one it helps is yourself.
If you want annoying people to realize they are annoying and change that, then ceasing to be offensive and in a calm, logical and assertive way instruct them, is a much better way.

While I am a patient person, and making annoying people realize that they're annoying would take a lot of patience, and I tend to have a low tolerance for idiots and lose my temper rather quickly. But I always try a subtle approach first before letting my fists work. Your advice is noted however.
I do own some self help books and I try to use the advices from there in my everyday life, and according to the people I hang out with most I've made quite the progress. my anger management is the main issue.
