This looks to me like fighting the wind mills. I don't know why you insist to play maps with 100 prisons on, but is certainly not Conquistador's problem.
This mod marks the AI heros, so you can't hire them. Each AI will hire about 6 heros, and even if you play with 8 AI (which is very unlikely), he will reserve 48 heroes out of 143 regular. If your tavern is empty early as you say, your template is the fault. Modify treasure area values or use Pillars to replace prisons, thus make the all the heroes available.
And btw, invite hero is not feature, is Major Cheat.

Ok, agreed. But I think I'm not the only one who has this problems.
In this map I counted more then 50 prisons and is generated with Tesseract.
"Map created by the Random Map Generator. Template was Tesseract XXL XL-2XXL 4-8players v1.3, Random seed was 1392722626, size 252, levels 2, humans 1, computers 5, water None, monsters 4, second expansion map"
Btw, where do we insert the seed numbers to recreate the map? Is how it works right?

No. The random map is generated by the rmg.txt you have in data folder. If you don't know how to modify it, remove/delete this file from Conquistador/data.
In HD mod you have a template folder, use any you like (each folder has one rmg.txt in it, copy/paste to Conquistador data). You must know those things when you generate randoms map.

Sorry, I made a confusion.
I believed that the template would give general directions but the seed numbers would in fact permit to recreate the exact same map on another ocasion or a diferent computer. I don't remember where I got that information, is it completly wrong?
On the other hand I tought the map generator was basicly a tool u used blindly. Even try to understand it and know the specifictions of the templates could be considered some kind of "cheat": to know what to expect from the map before your oponents could explore it.

One irk I have with the Better AI mod is how it forces you to reset all creature aggression levels without there being room for diversity between multiple creep camps. For instance, in some maps of Heroes Chronicles campaigns, some creatures are supposed to join you, while others automatically attack you. Using Better AI forces all of them to behave the same way, which is a bit jarring.
There should be a means of saying "yes/no" to whether or not you want to change the aggression of neutral creatures.

Don't EVER use Conquistador in campaigns or custom maps. This is a mod for random maps only.
Readme says: This mod will provide better game play on random maps (preferable XL or XXL), granting to AI players several bonuses.
It will screw anything which is editor customized.

Do you ever stream? It would be nice to see some streams of a pro against Better AI instead of just human X human. Something more like "Small tricks versus AI" from Richard_Chen.
Also, you said u think Overflow_Fix will never be necessary in random maps but Crag already has 110 of attack and u still don't have domain over the map. 19 more increments and u get an Offense speciallist with 0 of attack.
At wich level was he when this pic was taken?

Ok, this took some time to code but quite satisfied with result.
Conquistador 3 Leaders (600 kb)
Setting are similar to Conquistador mod, with the only exception that AI players will be given each one 3 custom heroes only and will never be able to recruit more. Hence the turns will be much shorter.
When one dies, he is revived next day, unless that AI player has no town left. They have all natural combat skills, and each has a randomly selected specialty between offense, armorer and resistance. They can move up to 110 tiles every turn (depending on the movement settings you selected) and will enjoy as in previous mod from town portal at 15th level + fly at 40. Also their army will always be at ace rank, mana refilled, etc.
Use ini file to set your preferences, can be edited then saved in notepad or any text editor.
Screens from AI heroes, custom names and portraits so you keep track who is who (weird txt limitations in H3, can't display >12 digits):

So, you are against visual tutorials for something like this? It looks nice but it also looks like I would have to spent the rest of my days "studying" to simply have a chance against it.
P.S. When I joinned this community I was convinced I knew how to play and you were one of the persons who show me how wrong I was.
After many hours of reading in the Library I started to whatch the "Let's play Heroes 3" in YouTube but learned almost nothing compared to what I've learned with Richard Chen "Small Tricks..." and what I'm learning from following the Champions League on Twitch (Thank you Maretti, Gomunguls, Juristis and many others, you have been great teachers and entertainers). Yet I can't even dream about beating that.
It looks to me I'm not just being lazy here, there will always be a point where we get stucked and need more external information to advance. Of course, you have the right not wanting to be the guy that provides it but then how many people do you think will be using this mod? Cause most top players I know play SoD at 160%, not WoG at 800%.
On the other hand, congratulations. This mod creates a (standart) impossible map from anything that camed out of the Editor.

Conquistador is not a mod for masochists. It only allows to set your difficulty as you wish.
With default options is below regular 130% game difficulty. Is when you start to push buttons around options that you start to suffer. Is also compatible with wog, so you can use any OP options you like.
AI has not a single chance against emerald towers, warfare, commanders. Even at hardest.

I believe you or you wouldn't have give yourself so much trouble, I just wanted to see how... This is like hear about Cristiano Ronaldo without ever saw him on a match.
You are right. This is like Stevie said somewhere, "when you set things to Impossible you expect to lose". I already accepted I'll never be able to compete in the Iron Man and I will never surf Pipeline but I'm not accepting I can't beat Conquistador at 800% cause I used to beat SoD at Impossible (cheating).
Sorry, is just my ego getting in the way...

Playing Necropolis with Conquistador is funny as hell, especially if you put the neutrals growth on x5
What happens if one of the three AI heroes retreats? Does he get revived? Or the AI recruits him in the tavern?

All taverns are disabled for AI, only human can use them. His heroes get revived each day if dead, until you conquer the last town.
The problem with growth x 5 is that AI can't kill the neutrals. I fixed that in this version, now your growth settings affect how much level 7 bonus creatures he gets on first day.

Do you play without level 8 in any form? Not even from special dwellings?
I used to set the "level 7 upgrade to 8 during the night" option on but now I usually just use the "extended creatures upgrades" that let me upgrade 7's to 8's.
I'm none the less starting to believe they are too OP compared to the rest of the army. If I don't use a trick to transform every other creature to a hier level they seam to be a waste of resources.
