Man Jean better become more than just comic relief, he easily got the hottest chick shooting for him HE BETTER BE WORTHY!
Also first I thought the super-mega-HARDCORE-stereotyping would be kind of annoying but they've done it so well it's really more cute than anything.

So he lied, not very surprising in retrospect. But I wish he'd let go of his stupid pride and accept what help he can get. He's taking on more than he can handle while things are not exactly getting any better. But hey, if he gets cornered too badly he might get serious.

Actually, Jean just became interesting. With his secret out, he became the most complex character in the series, not that it's much of an achievement. I'm really waiting to see what happens when he finally snaps.

To be fair I had thought he just got in cause his parents and grandparents etc. were like these super ace people from the academy so he just got in on name alone, considering how he looks at that statue in the opening all guilty and ****.
And yeah well to be fair in this clusterf*ck of amazingness this has literally been the only personal development of any character so far  . Except for the whole I'm a douchebag thing that mace-guy has going on. Oh that and the "How do you take your coffee?" "Cream and five sugars" O_O.
Seriously though these fights just choreographed amazingly. Like how do you come up with stuff like that. The trailers pfffffffff wtf I can't handle so much.

I thought it would be something important that he displayed or interesting enough for Ozpin to take him in. He seems to have an eye for people's potential. Yeah, I guess we are all waiting for him to snap His character has gone past the stage of comic relief. His only qualities so far seem to be in leadership and a strong aura so this is where he is likely to develop.
And Ruby is just too sweet

But that would be mean. What you do with kids with high testosterone is you castrate them. I.E you destroy their ego utterly, then you give them a position in your ranks. (the wasps would be a good way to go about this, but I hope it's more than just "bully is getting hurt let's feel joy"!)

It's not about the bully, it's about Jaune standing up for himself. If he can do it in good fashion he gets bonus points. If not.. he gets beaten up but at least he will suck less

All kinds of sweet awesome. Those afterimages in the Blake vs Robin, sweetness. Not to say that those musket-nunchucks weren't sweet.

That was epic. Good lines, good action, fun all around ^^ Roman is such an awesome fellow, I somehow expected him to be all talk but the guy can hold his own and is smarter than the kiddies. He's got class. Also.. "Of for f.."
Sun, as expected has a beautiful fighting style and an even cooler weapon When I saw the long staff I wasn't surprised(Sun Wukong d'uh) but breaking it down to musket-nunchucks? So much win! And as for Penny's combat readiness.. Well played Monty
