A calm silence had filled the tent. The only sounds being the dull creaking of the overhead lantern, as it gently swayed in the breeze and the distant rumble of soldiers going about their business.
Suddenly, Aura stood and clapped her hands. The sound broke the quiet like a clap of thunder, vitalizing those within the tent and snapping them out of their transient stupefaction
"Its is time to continue our journey, dear friends. We are close to the city and we really should push on", Aura announced as servants busied themselves in clearing away the remains of their repast. "We will be crossing by the Drum Sands of Qoh and taking the depression trail. Those of you wishing to shelter from the heat are welcome to ride in the palanquin's or use the air filters and masks".
