Bria trekked carefully at the side of the ship that was facing the ocean. The brigand managed to sneak near it when she took advantage of the busy captain who seemed to be having a hard time talking to a race unknown to her. The huge cargo boxes also helped her hide, but the she knew she could not sneak in using the gangplank so she took the other route – much harder but safer. Gradually, she made sure each step she made; each crevice she grabbed was safe and sure.  Gracefully she glided with the ropes that loosely hanged from above but made sure she did it with discreet.

When Bria reached the seventh porthole from the back of the ship where she gauged was the safest way to enter, she changed her direction upward. Upon reaching the top, she glanced at the deck to check if somebody will notice her entry.  When she observed it was safe, she jumped in and made her way inside. Slowly, the pirate made her way down, hiding herself from time to time until she reached the lowest deck.

As she strode on, an opening stumbled upon her. She leaned near it and peeked inside.  There she saw a mix of boxes, big and small.    She also heard faint cries, coughs and pleads. Bria smiled, she knew she already found the ship’s hold where they keep the cargo and place the prisoners.

Aside from the sounds that the prisoners made, the hold was quiet. No footsteps or other noise hinted that an activity was going on the area. Silently, Bria looked for the best place to hide.  And after moments of searching, she found a dark corner. Several huge boxes sat near the ship’s wall that left a small gap for the pirate to hide.  The place she found was located in the opposite side of the portholes that no light could reach.

Bria sat in the dark corner. She took of her tricorne and placed it besides her then curled and relaxed herself.  The pirate was still experiencing headache from drinking a lot of ale yesterday. She smiled as she thought how lucky was her to sneak inside the ship without any trouble. And she said to herself, It’s a good day today, then pirate quickly fell asleep.

Zayl looked around. Strange. After picking up the sword shard from the pedestal, he expected that the armor shall burst with life and proceed to attack the thief.yet probably the inhabitants had came up with more elaborate traps than animated armor, or maybe the magic has vaned and weakened over the centuries.
Zayl wrapped the shard in silk from the pedestal and placed it in his bag.
paying no mind, Zayl exited the hall. walking towards the exit, Zayl noticed two large statues that depicted golems for war back in ages past. they were large, three times Zayl's height. immense and bulky, htey sure stood there menacingly, yet Zayl could swore that their eyes have been following him. As soon as Zayl walked past them, the statues became alive, shedding it's marble coating, revealing that they were indeed ancient war golems, and not their statues. The gates in front and behind Zayl closed. He summoned his blade and prepared for a long fight.

Blissfully unaware of the wonders of the ancient world unfolding somewhere above, the underground caverns toward the hills seethed with drunken revelry. An old brigand shanty thundered through the hallways, the chorus led by a catastrophically inebriated feral goblin, still bloodthirsty from his glorious victory.

Wot do we do wif a captured drakkie
Wot do we do wif a captured drakkie
Wot do we do wif a captured drakkie
Right until da mornin’

Put ‘im on a skewer an’ add sum ‘umies
Put ‘im on a skewer an’ add sum ‘umies
Put ‘im on a skewer an’ add sum ‘umies
Right until da mornin’

Waaagh haaagh da ‘umies stumble
Waaagh haaagh da walls all crumble
Waaagh haaagh da Stompaz rumble
Right until da mornin’!

Upon a mighty stomp of Wogzgrot’s jackboot, however, the ceiling shivered, and every single repulsive head in the ‘hall’, human and monstrous alike, turned to the half-ogre. In a matter of moments, silence reigned, aside from a couple of drunken bandits raising their tankards toward him.

“Oi! Lissin up, ya gitz!” Skullbasha announced. “As da dullest o’ you lot know by now, some o’ da sneaky boyz we sent ta’ snoop ‘round caught ourselves a big ol’ drakkie camp. An’ I hear some o’ da tents dey’z popped are right shiny!”

Loud cheering once again filled the stone chamber.

“Ya know da drill, boyz! Get ‘dere by da cover o’ darkness, all sneaky like, ‘den jump in an’ bash ‘dere lizard ‘eads in! Take all da loot ya can carry, but keep da boss drakkie alive. I need ta ask ‘im couple questions.”

Malicious sneering could be heard all around, from some of the more gleefully violent members of the band.

“Whatch’yall waitin’ fer? Get to it, ya scum!” was the finishing touch on the speech, followed by a hurried ruckus as the rugged mass of pointed ears and grinning yellow teeth made its way toward the stash – or rather, pile - of weapons, armor and supplies.

Wogzgrot Skullbasha turned to his aide. “Now where’z dat gobbo git?" , he asked briskly. "I gotz me a task fer ‘im.”

The well-dressed orc, pulling a heavy chain shirt over his looted merchant attire, stopped for a moment and directed his glance, uncomfortably, towards the warlord’s gargantuan feet.

The half-ogre shifted his massive, nearly-neckless head downward, coming to realize that the cracking he felt after stomping the floor was not the crumbling of limestone. A crimson puddle expanded slowly in all directions from underneath his boot, a tiny, greenish arm protruding from below, still clutching an empty tankard in a ghastly rigor mortis.

Wogzgrot scoffed. “Hrmph. Told ya da git was too sneaky fer ‘is own good.”

A large band of several dozen armed raiders, commanded from the rear by a lumbering, armored half ogre, can be seen from a good vantage point. They seem to be closing in on the royal Drakk encampment, encroaching it from all sides with surprising stealthiness and apparent knowledge of the terrain.

Khaos got onboard and found his way to the captain.

"Where's the most quiet place on the ship?", Khaos asked.
"Probably in the hold. There are imprisoned, good-for-nothing scums who dared to attack my ship in there", Tavier said, "but if ya can keep them quiet, I'm sure they won't be a nuisance."
"Fine.", Khaos responded.

"What's  your name?", Tavier asked as Khaos was about to exit the captain's cabin.
"Just call me... Khaos."
----------------------

Looking around the ship, Khaos found the hold where he was supposed to be alone during the trip. The prisoners started to panic when the saw him, but he just needed to yell "SILENCE!" for them to stop and be quiet.
"I feel there's someone here.", Khaos said. "You", he turned to a prisoner, "tell me is there someone else here."
"I haven't s-seen a-anyone here except for u-us.", the prisoner responded.
Khaos seemed displeased with the prisoner's answer and started searching around the boxes and sacks. He thought that the prisoner was correct, but that changed when he saw a girl sleeping behind some boxes in a dark corner.

"Wake up!", he growled.

Aura smiled inwardly at Ilena's surprise.  "Yes, they are our beasts of burden.  But we treat them kindly.  As kindly as you can treat a thoroughbred Ogre".

At this point, several Drakk guard's had come running towards the trio.  Swords, lances, sabres and axes all brandished in panic.  One of Aura's Captains rushed forwards, pushing the guards aside.  "My Princess, wha ....".  "Shh Ounsnes," Aura interrupted him, her hand up gesturing his silence.  "These are my guests.  They deserve our hospitality.  Please see that they are provided with a tent, food and whatever else they need".  The  Drakk captain bowed, his actions clipped and precise, the epitome of a well-seasoned soldier.

Turning back to Karev and Ilena, Aura decided to take her leave.  "I am tired now.  Please excuse me.  My people here are at your disposal and Captain Ounsnes will see to it personally that you are comfortable.  I bid you a goodnight".  Aura tilted her head in a princely fashion, before turning and heading for her tent and the anxious ladies-in-waiting wringing their hands nervously.

However, before Aura reached her tent, Captain Ounsnes appeared at her side.  Aura frowned momentarily.  "My Princess, this cannot wait.  Our scouts have found tracks.  We are not alone here".  Aura turned towards Karel and Ilena.  "No, my Princess, these tracks are orc and ogre tracks.  I believe we may be compromised".

Aura said nothing.  For the briefest moment her eyes bored deeply into Ounsnes's lined but acutely alert eyes.  She nodded.  He understood and bowing quickly, left.

"Montakkii?", the Karev asked quietly in a tongue unknown to the drakk in the camp.
Ilena answers her with an analytic voice. "Ylitte tuplaten drakkeihin nähhen."
Karev frowns. "Mennöö lepän laskuks."
Ilena just nods in silence.

The tent has been set up and the two enter. Upon entering Karev immeaditely takes his shield off his back and places it on his hip. Ilena rolls up the sleeves of her dress and tightens her bracers followed by her shin guards. Then they wait.

Bria was awoken by a deep voice.  Her head ached as it echoed through her ears.  Instinct-driven, aware that she had illegally breached the ship, Bria’s relaxed body turned stiff.  Her right hand immediately but undetectably  locked itself to one of the daggers sheathed on her waist while her left arm covered her face, leaving a small space open for her eyes to identify the trespasser.

Apparently, it was too dark for the pirate to fully recognize the person in front of her.  All she was able to distinguish was his brusque figure.

“What do you want?” she asked calmly.

“You’z got da gobboz in place?” Wogzgrot asked, with all the quietness of a hulking ogre.

“Sure do, boss,” the chainmail-clad orc replied. “But the boys’d like to know why they’re way over there. They can’t see anythin’ from the ogres, an’ they don’t like shootin’ ogres.”

“Dat’z exactly wot dey’z gonna do, if dey know wot’s good fer dem,” the half-ogre hissed impatiently. “Even dem lot can’t miss a zoddin’ ogre.”

“But, boss,” the orc began. “Even if they hit ‘em, I don’t think they can pierce…”

“Leave da finkin’ ta me, ya git! Dey’z not gonna kill ‘em, dey’z gonna piss ‘em off. An’ wen dey’z pissed off, dey start rumblin’, an’ while dey’z rumblin’ an’ da drekkie boyz are busy wif ‘em, we go in an’ bash sum ‘eadz in! Now git to it!”

The orc nodded hurriedly. “You sure are cunnin’, boss.”

“ ‘Course I’z kunnin’, ya git, I’z da boss!”

“Not for long, you’s not…” the orc mused broodingly, while shuffling away.

“Wot wuz dat?”

“Nothin’, boss! Just sayin’, not long they’s got!”

The half ogre grinned, flashing his rotten tusks and a few golden teeth. “Dey sure ain’t.”

A rain of stones, arrows and crude spears pours upon the unsuspecting ogres-of-burden from somewhere in the bushes, slowly rousing some from their slumber. Some malicious cackling, laced with several slaps and hisses of “Shh! Shh!” can be heard by a trained ear.

All hell broke loose.  White hot flames shot out from all directions, circling the camp and igniting anything in its path.  The acrid smell of hydrogen and methane filled the air, stinging the eyes and catching in the throat.  "L'kuul aa!!!", came a roar as dozens of Drakk warriors appeared out of the smoke.  There was a deafening boom as somewhere in the murk a death beat echoed out.

Another murderous wave of flame like a sonic boom resonated from the camp, lighting the night sky like a thunderbolt from the Gods, harmlessly engulfing the Drakk soldiers but obliterating anything else it touched.

Then suddenly, to accompany the flames, massive flaming boulders erupted from the center of camp towards the outskirts.  Great masses of flaming death that hit the ground and exploded like lava missiles.

From the center, Aura beat her wings and rose sharply up into the smoke-filled haze.  Dive bombing the enemy she let loose a projectile of liquid flame that clung to their bodies and incinerated them within seconds.

The battle had commenced.

Zayl jumped in the air to avoid being pummeled bu the golem's massive granith fists. The constructs weren't really bright, just your average brainless grunt, yet on the battlefields of ancient times these massive magically animated giants were such a demoralising force, that entire armies just dropped their weapons and fled the battle, just by laying eyes upon them towering in the distance.
Zayl decided to trick them, by climbing onto one's top, which he proceeded to do. A few quick swings and Zayl was on the top, with a spell ready in his hand. there wasn;t much way to damage the constructs, unless you know their weak spot, or where the magic essence that powers them resides.
The heads of the golems were beyond Zayl's reach, so he couldn't attack it without being pummeled to mush. With trickery at his side, he hoped to best them
He hurled the fireball at the other golem. angered by this, the construct mauled the other stone guardian as Zayl jumped off it. The other golem succumbed to the force of the blow, and crumbled into rocks that it was made from. The remaining golem stood there as the dust settled, one could swear it looked confused. Zayl seen this as the only opportunity to attack, since the construct won't let his guard down again. Zayl jumped towards it, and thrusted his blade into the head of the golem. The energy that fueled the golem was released, and the construct crumbled to rocks.
As the golem crumbled, Zayl swore he heard a whispering echo that said "finally... I am free..."
Zayl brushed off any thoughts about it, as he left the fortress.

“Why do you want me out of here? I came here first,” she said in a firm tone still holding her stance.

The wooden chassis of the ship crackled at the might of the waves.
After three days Mikahil departed from his home he was suddenly fearing for his life. He wasn't prepared to the might of the ocean being raised on a frozen island.

He heard the crew panic for a moment but then realized they were drinking when he heard the sound of glass shattering. He tried to sleep, but in the moment he closed his eyes he would be awakened by the motion of the ship, and he would start to fear again.

After that night of terror the sea started to calm down, and he was reassured by the brighter sky. He heard someone call for him, he turned around and faced the captain.

- Calm night eh? Ya know laddie, ya made a scene worth watching. Said the captain trying to hold his laughter.
- I'm just not really fond of storms, that's all.
- Is that so? Anyway, if the weather stays like this we'll reach Odamgr tomorrow, after that you are on your own.
- I owe you a drink if I remember correctly.
- Yup. But don't ye worry, I know someone who can tell ya where to find some money.

After that the captain returned to his quarters to eat breakfast while Mikhail pondered what to do once he arrived to the city.

Zayl was back on the main road, leading to the Drakk lands.
The road was less busy, with caravans breaking camp on the sides most of the time, and lone travelers would go and try to look for an inn nearby. Along the busy traderoutes there were many establishments that offered food and bed to the weary travelers.
After walking a few leagues, Zayl found one such establishment. it was not carved into the mountain, as it was the last one Zayl stayed, yet it had some charm to it.
Zayl entered the inn. The sun was setting already so Zayl decided to stay for the night.
- A room for the night- He said to the innkeep- Also I'd like some wine and food.- Zay placed few gold coins in front of the innkeep. Again, Zayl decided to sit by the bar.
- looks like you'll need armorer's services as well m'lord.- The innkeep said as he returned with the drink.
Zayl's plate armor pieces that he wore have been suffered some wear and tear over the course of his journey. The little adventure in the so called Blackstone Fortress did add to the overall damage as well, as Zayl barely dodged some traps on his way out.
- I'll worry about that later my good man. Are there any skilled craftsman in particular you know?
- As a matter of fact, yes. He's in first town you reach after descending from the mountains. A Drakk, goes by the name of Bu'latt.
- Thanks, I'll have him in mind.- Zayl said to the innkeep. The fatty man, the owner of the establishment, went to attend to his new customers, merchants by the looks of it.
A band of bards started playing a jolly tune about drinking. Zayl heard the language somewhere back in his youth, and could speak and understand it without much problems, as much as nearly every other native tongue of many raves that inhabited the world. the long years been a good way to gather knowledge. Zayl began to understood some magic wielders that seek to increase their lifespan. of course wizards like these were often human, as their life is really short compared to other races.
before he became what he is now, Zayl's only goal was a quick ascend to power. yet over the years he saw kings being made and unmade with relative ease. So he alternitavely chose the other path. A life of adventure.
With Zayl in his thoughts, the food has arrived. Zayl ate ir hastily, and asked the barwench to bring a jug of wine, and show him to his room.
The room was nothing spectacular, just a bed with a night chamber near it , a chair and a table with an oil lamp. Zayl closed the door behind him, and sat by the table. after filling his glass he started to look at the map

"Quit yer whimperin'!" Wogzgrot shouted, hurling a screeching goblin back into the fray. His face was charred and only laden with more rage with each new bout of flame. "Stand 'ard, maggots!"

Shouts of pain and the smell of burning flesh engulfed the camp. "Gettin' hammered here, boss," a raider attempted to report, moments before falling to his knees and then the ground with a helpless thud.

"Dhar!" the half-ogre turned, furiously seeking his greenskin advisor. "Where'z me backup? Fetch da boyz, ya git!"

Somewhere through the smoke, he noticed a crew of several hide-clad orcish clansmen turning from the fray, but with neither the air of fear nor that of hurry around them. "An' wot da snot do you'z lot fink yer doin' outta da fight?!" he growled. Raising his greataxe menacingly, his voice came to an abrupt stop, as he lowered his head in confusion as to the barbed spearhead protruding from his chest.

"Oh, right, boss," Dhar snarled ominously from behind, plunging the wicked spear deeper through his employer and then letting it go as the hulking warlord collapsed to the ground. "Didn't tell you 'bout that change o' plans." Any hints of eager, sniveling obedience were gone from the orc's voice, as his yellow eyes shone deviously in the bright-lit night.

"You'z... dirty... lil'..." The chains on his armor clanging, the spikes upon it breaking, and his macabre collection of skulls bouncing off somewhere into the night, Wogzgrot Skullbasha breathed his last breaths heavily amidst the flickering inferno.

"Ah, save it," Dhar spat to the side. "I done listened to your half-wit yabberin' long enough." He motioned toward the dancing flames and the massacre nearby. "An' it ain't like we got too much time for chattin' up."

Wogzgrot hissed in anguish. "Da... da map... da last bit... you'z don't got da last bit..."

This seemed to prod the turncoat orcs to react. The largest - and therefore the most authoritative - among them, a one-eyed brute missing half an ear yet abundant in crude tattoos covering his entire body, narrowed his cyclopean gaze at his brand new boss. "We'z don't?"

Dhar sharpened his tone against this hint of insubordination. "We got all the bits, dungbrain! I jus' got 'im to think these drekkies 'ave the last one, so'z he attacks, an' they wipe out the ones loyal to 'is big, fat arse." He scoffed. "Now quit tryin' to think and get movin'! It's the tomb o' the soddin' dragon king, does it sound like it's gonna rob isself?" With this, he glanced once more toward the approaching chaos of battle, then turned and left hurriedly.

The rest of the vicious retinue promptly followed, leaving the one-eyed reaver slightly behind. Briefly noting the time he had before the Drakks came purging all before them, the orc yanked a crooked knife from his belt and shoved it deep into the dying warlord's eye socket. Wogzgrot ground his teeth, and the orc allowed himself a chuckle of foul excitement. "The name's Arlach Eye-grubba, boss," he crowed, "an' I didn't get it fer nuffin'!"

A loud scream, like that of a howling beast, draws the attention of any troops in a wide radius. Approaching this outlying section of the freshly pacified battlefield, one can notice a lone, gloating orcish figure suddenly being grabbed by the head by its perceived victim - a heavily injured half-ogre warrior. Squirming in panic, the orc wiggles wildly for a short while, the mongril's tremendous fist clenching ever more firmly around his cranium until it crumbles with what could, in absence of the sight, be mistaken for the sound of eggs breaking.

Wogzgrot Skullbasha stumbled back up, leaning against a large, lone rock, and pulled the knife out. Paying little attention to the blood sipping wildly from where his right eye used to be, he uttered, "Me neitha, ya git!"

Catching a blurry glimpse of a Drakk vanguard advancing through the smouldering ashes of what proudly used to be the Stompaz, he smirked in stubborn defiance and reelingly awaited his fate.

The map showed some new fortresses which weren't present before Zayl explored the first one in the mountains.
the parchment which the map was drawn on was an intriguing piece as well. Zayl suspected that powerful artificiers had crafted this, to aid the future generations into finding the lost relics of their race. Yet it was only a speculation. Zayl hasn't seen any people with light blue skin, and amber eyes as they were depicted in the murals back at the fortresses.
While at the fortress he recorded his thoughts and impressions on the history of the race into his journal.
Perhaps someday, he'll be able to fashion the notes into a decent tome or several of knowledge for the rest of the world to read and indulge into the mysteries of this world.
But that wasn't going to be any time soon. There are many secrets and mysteries out there that need to be uncovered.
Zayl didn't slept through the night, instead working over his notes and studying the map, plotting his route to the next Blackstone Fortress.
At the morning, Zayl eaten the breakfast that was offered at the inn, thanked the innkeep and went towards his next goal.

Two days later the ship has reached the port town of Ultah. There were people everywhere, but Khaos didn't really care about them as he disembarked. Everyone was staring at him, wondering what kind of a creature he is.
Yet Khaos did not even take a look around him to see where he is going. He just walked straight forward, scaring everyone in his way.

All of a sudden a man came to the port running. "BANDITS!", he yelled, "WRAEKTON HAS RETURNED TO KILL US ALL!"
Then, everyone forgot about Khaos and his mysterious appearance and started screaming and running all around. Khaos just kept going forward knowing that anyone stupid enough to attack him will only find excruciating death.

The sailors on the ship which Khaos boarded quickly reached for their weapons and got ready to defend their vessel; and just in time as a large group of people armed with all sorts of arms - from clubs and axes to scimitars and bows - arrived from around the corner. They ran towards the townsfolk, raising their weapons to deal a deadly strike to their victims. An imposing man, covered in numerous scars, rode behind them. He carried an enourmous sword stained with blood - fresh blood.

"Oy, who be the weird man over there?!", said a bandit in the horde.
"I dunno, but what I know is that 'e will eat my steel! HAH!", exclaimed another one.
The two of them rushed towards Khaos, but they quickly fell to the ground, bleeding from their throats.

The other bandits saw this and immediately charged at Khaos. He was ready to fight back.

Aura alighted back in the center of the camp.  She was exhilarated.  Never before had she witnessed battle.  Of course her childhood had been filled with tournaments and combat training, but still nothing had prepared her for this.  She didn't want it to end.  But she knew from the sound of the horns and cries of "Ulak Suur" and "Blajj Uurc y  Kluask", that the battle was pretty much over and the soldiers were mopping up the remnants of the enemy that might still remain in the darkness, howling in pain and defeat.

Captain Ounsnes appeared and bowed, "Your Highness the attack has been quelled.  Mainly goblins and half ogre's.  Quite a rag tag group of bandits".  He was interrupted by a particularly chilling howl, which made Ounsnes turn in its direction.  He turned back to face Aura, a look of bemusement on his face, "and we appear to have a survivor, Your Highness.  Although how long he will hold on is debatable", and drawing his sword, "perhaps I should put him out of his misery".

"No", ordered Aura, reaching out and holding Ounsnes by the forearm.  Turning to her guests tent she gestured, "Bring the survivor.  Perhaps our new companions may be able to shed some light on the matter".  Ounsnes bowed and strode off, as Aura made her way through the smoke to Karev and Ilena's tent.  The front sheet was open and through the wisps of smoke Aura could make out the pair sitting nonchalantly around the fire pit.  They appeared to be awaiting her arrival.

Aura frowned.  Why did this pair always make her feel she was the last one to discover something.  Aura didn't like that.

Unfurling behind her was a commotion of loud noises, shouts, curses and struggles, as six Drakk soldiers accompanied by Captain Ounsnes and his Lieutenant Tlayk, dragged a monstrous, bloodied, half dead yet still fighting half ogre.  He spewed profanities and curses as they dragged him.

It appears that tonight would not be a night for sleep, Aura thought and entered the tent.

Karev and Ilena rose as the drakk princess entered the tent. They pushed their hoods back and greeted her:
"We thank you for providing us with adequate shelter, Lady Myrrh D'Rho Ksk y Mnesz Oudh Ilyinyasin." Karev said and then looked at the direction of the halfbreed. "We compliment your highness for the successful skirmish."
