Forgot about magic traps when going back to selecting Feather. Oh well.

@Kareeah: the skeletons are farther in the cave, which is why they are embedded within the rocks and such, and them being visible among the stalagmite.
@DG: Yaaaaaaay, this could work then.
@Alkar: Magic traps can be found with a perception check just like normal traps... And they aren't 15 points harder to find either! Though it is a little tougher to find them, the DC is only modified by the spell level. You should be fine.

Most traps I will give you the option of avoiding or using the environment to disable, and magic traps will follow the same guidelines. You don't need the specific skills for that one.

Soooo, who's holding the rope? Though, with a roll of 19, Dagoth technically doesn't need the rope to get down there...

Feather has the rope, iirc. Though I also have a length of rope. So if you desperately need confirmation, then Ciaran gets it out and ties it.
EDIT: or Ciaran summer saults over and takes it. Whatever floats your boat, gnomes.

Thought about having Feather going to get it, seeing as how she has a feather fall ring, but the climb back up might be difficult for her.
Anyway, Feather is holding the rope, if you even need it.

Good point. Well, his exquisitor has spoken. If there's steep drops, feather should probably go, though. Ciaran is capable of tanking potential threats more and pulling herself out, I reckon if something's there.

Hey, all Vorbrin did was ask. Ciaran was the one who decided to jump into action.
And if you're going to make a perception check, especially in stony environment, I suggest you wait for me to do the same, what with me being a wise dwarf and all.
Speaking of which, when I first rolled perception to look around the cave, would I have spotted any traps if the result was high enough, or do I need to roll for trap spotting specifically? I'll roll again, just because why not, but I got a decent roll last time and am wondering if it covers everything?

Can I Aid Another on that rope? If I'm right we're going to need to pull Ciaran up as swiftly and efficiently as possible. And while I'm asking, is Ciaran going towards the entrance or away from it to retrieve that scroll? I expect it's away, but I'd like to be sure.
Either way, how far away are all of us from the entrance? My Acrobatics is lousy even if I didn't give Ciaran my gloves, and my Climb is meh, but I'm pretty sure we can survive the fall damage if we can make it that far.
Meanwhile I need to check what my encumbrance penalties to speed are about to be. And what my movement options are if I'm carrying multiple hundreds of pounds—or dragging them. Blast my lousy Perception. I hope those of you with the high Perception checks realize where we are?

@Dagoth: I'm sure there's another exit too, but I'm also reasonably certain we don't want to go that way. Even if we could make it through the pools of acid or its equivalent, our collective dignity would be in negative hitpoints after swimming through the excrement sure to be after that.

Oh, and maybe I should have mentioned... We are going to do one post = one round for the next group of posts... So remember your move speed when calculating how far you move Alkar got out completely anyway, though, since it was my bad that didn't get posted before he escaped...
@Kareeah: Are you sure you are, where you think you are? Remember, the rock is actual rock.

How heavy are the Masterwork tools gnomes? I've got the heal check one fluffed as a magic seal (you smear ink or something else that can leave a mark on the seal end and make a stamp over the bandages to use it) and the Knowledge: Planes one as notes from one of the scholars Nathanial's worked with previously. If there's a set weight for these things that's fine too, I just need to know if it puts me over a light load. Everything else I believe I have already accounted for.
I already checked the wand and it weighs a grand total of 1 ounce.
