Kareeah, you are wearing light armor and your kilt. That brings you up to medium, and adjusts your speed/ weight accordingly.

She(and I am too) is wondering about encumbrance. Load weight level. With all my weapons, I should be in the medium load level, actually.

Huh, didn't read the OOC before I posted. Then again, didn't move at all during my post, so I guess that's fine... well, maybe not fine, but you know... legal.

@Alkar and Kareeah, the weight of a masterwork tool is based on what makes sense for the tool. So for Kareeah's tools, I would say that her seal is small enough that it doesn't have a noticeable weight (it's a small stamp thing, after all) and the notes are no more than an ounce.

Okay so with Medium armor my speed should be 20, but my Run speed is still x4 and my belongings do not weigh me down sufficiently to impact my speed.

Guess I already set my speed to 20, due to load weight. I'm not sure whether I want to increase Str or Dex come next level. I don't think another point into Str would make enough difference, since I am currently holding 122 lbs.
Edit: And I found the encumbrance effects table. It does more than affect my movement speed...

@Alkar: That is why you drop your bag when battle starts, typically. Also, encumbrance penalties are still applied after armor penalties as far as your move speed is concerned, so I would suggest giving Geny some of your stuff in the future, since he don't care about no weight. Seriously, if it's below his max weight, Geny has no penalties. Best reason to be a dwarf...
@Kareeah: Remember though, you can't run down a rope. however, you could run off the cliff, or double move so that you get to the edge (though you wouldn't be able to shimmy down the rope until next round).

Dropping the pack would work. As long as you don't mind me having several locations on my clothing/armor for my various weapons. Although, that's kind of how I pictured it anyway. Though, that would still not be enough weight lost. I might have her lose the kilt. Then she would just have to throw a 1 lb weapon and be good.

Ciaran holds the rope. She'll be last down. She has most chance of going through that drop unscathed.

How much will the rope help? And I have Fool's Luck prepared, does falling count as a 'hazard'? I'll admit this was a little earlier than I was hoping to use one of my grand total of four spells, but if we don't survive the first obstacle it won't matter if we can survive the second/third/etc...

Feather could try and catch Ciaran, but I think Ciaran would be better off using her acrobatics than being caught.

@Kareeah/ Geny: You would take 2d6 damage from the fall. It really doesn't matter that much. Also, Kareeah, the rope would allow 1 of you to go down/ round.
@DG: Fiiiiiiiiiiiine, I guess you can have the rope. This time.

There is no question whatsoever as to whether or not the rope is present:
AlkarRahn said: Once Feather reached the cave's exit, she almost jumped down, but decided it might be better to set the rope down, and have the others toss an end down to her. If she took the one end down, all the rest may follow.
"I will be waiting down below for the rest of you!" Feather called back to the others, dropping the rope to the cave floor. She then jumped down.
The issue is that it isn't tied to anything, meaning someone has to hold it or take the time to tie it. And if the former, that person then has to get down unaided.
And if it's Ciaran, don't forget she still has Nathanial's sharkskin gloves (...which I should probably take off my sheet until I get them back... >.> ) as it doesn't look like you've been adding that +2 to Acrobatics to your checks Dagoth.

I think Kareeah should go first. If things go south, Nathaniel will need his hp more than Vorbrin.
