If it gets back to Feather, I am thinking of having her do a bit of melee, since she doesn't yet have precise shot. Thinking it might be a bit more favorable.

So I can bodyslam the thing or what? I need to look up my options for being grappled.
Edit:
So if I'm reading this right, the penalties for being grappled are that I can't move from where I am, I take a penalty to attacks and spellcasting and I can't do anything that requires both my hands (like use my sword). Also the nebula monster has to make a check on its next turn to keep hold of me. Can I attack it at all since I can't use my sword (on examination I don't have any one-handed weapons)? Can I try to break out of the grapple and maybe move afterwards so if it tries to grab me again it gets AoO'd (although I don't know if there's a better place for that where I am now)?

As a large creature, it actually has a 10' reach... which means that if you try to move too far it can AoO you. If you broke the grapple, that is (you have about a 35% chance of that, I think...) Otherwise, you can just punch it with your bare hands (likely non-lethally... which would actually help you take it down a little bit easier, oddly.) It would not be the most effective method, but it's more likely to work than escaping from the grapple.

I'll rule that he can delay until you can break the arm holding him... and that if you deal enough damage to the critter in the next round, it will let go.

I'm at the end of the round except for Vorbrin and Mr. Nebula though, isn't delaying just going to let the nebula thing go first? (And remember it's regenerating, so if I have to pick between dealing damage and skipping my turn...I'd rather at least try to hit it.)
